I would like to take a moment to officially address my fellow citizens of the New Western Empire, and our friends from The Allied Republic. On this day we celebrate not only the friendship and bond between our two communities, but also in the case of the New Western Empire, our creation day. While no longer residing in our historic home of the new western atlantic, founded 3 years ago this day, our community continues in our new home.
SO let us take the time to celebrate with these games, for the future of both our communities and a stronger bond.

Let me begin by thanking His Imperial Majesty, Emperor 
Josephtan of the great region New Western Empire for the tremendous hospitality and warmth that the delegation from The Allied Republic has felt while on this formal State Visit. I’ve been a Foreign Secretary and Diplomat throughout my 5 years here in NationStates and have been fortunate to have visited so many regions, but there’s something very unique and special about NWE. There is a hunger in this region for prosperity together, and that’s something you don’t always see in regions. I can only attribute that to the incredible leadership in this region, and the incredible people who make up this region as citizens.
Speaking of leadership, let me take the time to thank all those involved who made this entire visit possible. I wish to thank my executive counterpart in the Prime Minister and his world-class Foreign Affairs ministry led by DirectorPrincess sheep for their hard work. I also wish to thank TAR Secretary of State Nosma for his work in setting this all up between our respective governments.
As President of The Allied Republic, one of my goals when entering this office was to strengthen our relationships with our foreign partners across NationStates. As many of you know by evidence of this summit, we have a unique opportunity to grow two communities based upon the common values of unity, liberty, and the pursuit of prosperity.
Throughout the next few days, I hope that we fulfill the potential of such an opportunity, for the betterment of both our regions. It is the responsibility of representative governments to empower their constituents by ensuring the stability of their government.
We do so in part, through the establishment of these foreign relations because they indicate to our citizens and to the NationStates community as a whole that our respective regions are not alone. We are part of a larger, acknowledged network of regions that communicate, share, and when needed, protect their foreign allies and foreign communities.
It is my goal that with this visit, we not only achieve a greater understanding of our respective cultures and achievements in promoting community excellence, but also establish a trust and respect between such cultures and regions.

Since no one is stepping up as a member I'm declaring myself as INTERIM leader. I plan on approaching the spectrum party for a merge and if that does not pan out hold a leader election
ALL OF MY MOVES WILL BE BACKED BY A NAT MEMBER VOTE.

Personal suggestion, just create a new party mate, there is none of this bs of declaring yourself "interim leader", however on the NWE the emperor has been allowing pretty much any new parties to be recognised as official.

Dude, no, you can't just bust in and declare yourself as the defacto supreme overlord of the National Party with no questions asked, especially when almost everyone here hates you. You need to get on with the poll and do more than an apology to make things right between you and the NWE.
I also find it especially odd that you bust in the NWE after Timena resigned from his position. However, it kinda makes sense because it's your chance to shine and to have a voice in our community. And with that voice, you could have all of us forgive you for what you've done, so I guess it isn't that bad if you want to take your job seriously.
