Following a celebratory cheers and the smashing a plates, the Minister of Defense, Mr. Melissinos, announced the completion of 5 additional star fleets. This has come right on time considering that earlier this morning, transmissions have been picked up from Versailles Pact surveillance probes indicating that the Nationalist german empire has once again invaded Ventus Prime in the Kapetyn System. The Minister also announce the beginning of army reforms that will see the replacement of all infantry troops with synths. The replacements will come in batches of 60 000 at a time, starting with the 1st Army (Kerkyra). In an effort to boost development in the colonies, all former soldiers who do not wish to receive officer training will be offered a plot of land in the Amazonia system. The synths in question have been in development for a number of years under the direction of professor Ettore Galvani and their AI has finally been perfected to ensure they act independently yet remain fiercely loyal to the Most Serene Republic. Production is taking place in multiple facilities within Patagonia.

Finally, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Kapodistrias has announced plans to reaffirm our diplomatic relations with the Doge going on a Europe tour, starting off in Byzantium (Ryanius). He will eventually make his way into Scherzinger, the North italian union, Celestiam, and [nation]Triren before finally concluding the tour in Frellor. Messages has been sent and we are awaiting responses. When situation is taken care of in Europe, the Ministry plans to begin another diplomatic tour in the Americas and Asia.

For the next couple hours, the other members of the Cabinet spoke about their portfolios, but frankly, the details for hazy due to the fact their were getting more and more intoxicated. When the Prime Minister finally passed out on his chair (the man always was a bit of a lightweight) and the Doge finished drawing crude messages on his forehead with a sharpie, the summit was closed and everyone head to the hills for a night of skiing because drunk skiing at night is the best skiing.

Impa sighed as she nodded before leaving the bridge. She first went to the captain’s quarters, where she found Adlez waiting. “Slight change of plans,” she said. “Looks like we’ll be heading back to the planet quicker than expected.”

“Company?” Adlez asked.

“Yeah...though we’re not sure what their intentions are. Just keep an eye out.”

Adlez smiled. “I may have forgotten a few things but my combat skills are still intact.”

There was a beeping as Edgar was waiting outside. “Yes you’ll be coming as well, Edgar,” Impa said. “As long as you don’t cause anything trouble.”

A short time later, a shuttle disembarked from the Armoranth and made its way back towards the planet’s surface.

By the time the shuttle touched down on the surface Expeditionary Fleet B2 was practically unloaded. All necessary personnel were finished with base camp and packing up for their things for the journey ahead.

Waiting for the shuttle to land was Jay, who didn’t pay much attention to all the Mission drama occurring around them. He wore a black Imperial Navy Field Uniform which clearly had some wear and tear.

He watched as the Shuttles occupants began exiting, giving them a smile as they did. “Greetings from the Galactic Imperial Empire, it’s nice to meet intelligent life so far from home.” Jay announced.
