Congrats.

So I've finally been able to do something being post-grad that I've been wanting to for a long time.

I been watching all the Star Wars movies and shows in chronological order. I am very close to wrapping it up with concluding with the Mandalorian then watching sequels. I have to say, with how much a dud the sequels are, Disney did such a good job addressing a ton of the plot holes left by George Lucas in the prequels and original trilogy. Clone Wars and Rebels TV shows were phenomenal in introducing many well-around impactful characters without much contradiction to the main story arch plus they all added so much context for the actions/decisions made in the main movies. Nearly every character we saw in the movies (Prequel and OG Trilogy) in my view was improved on in most aspects.

My only desire now, sorta "If I was the Executive Director of Star Wars - Disney" or whatever that titles is called, is that they expand on the non-jedi aspects of the show. I see Rouge One or Mando as golden examples. I want to see more of the regular lives of people within the stories such as a clone trooper or just really a bystanders who'd witness order 66 for example.

I also think Disney has to take an swing at the Old Republic Era. With majority of Old Republic Era content not being canon anymore they can (hopefully take some of the SW Legends/Non-Canon inspiration) have a second chance at making films and not have Lucas or Mark Hammill silently judging.

Dash of Potential Spoiler
The rumors regarding the Ahsoka movie with the Ezra Bridger plotline is another direction I'd love to see the franchise go. Completely open to their own creative desires with the uncharted portions of the galaxy.

Overall, totally recommend any of the TV shows or movies. I think when watched in order is a great story and has some really good rewatchability.

You got a lot more discipline than I do. I’ve been trying to watch them all too, but haven’t had the foresight (or maybe patience) to watch them in order. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve rewatched the first episodes of Clone Wars only to jump to a movie, or another series, and go back and start over. lol…

But, I agree with you 100%. Disney has done a helluva lot better than Lucas! It’s almost like Lucas saw the Star Wars universe in black and white, while Disney sees it in technicolor. I just wish they’d not feel the need to always introduce annoying, “cute” characters. I blame the Jawas and early-Yoda for this, which was really magnified with Jarjar Binks. IE, the Omiga character in Bad Batch (which I love otherwise). She makes no sense, not to mention a female *cannot* possibly be an “identical genetic clone” of the original Jango Fett. No f*ing way I can swallow that “science.” But I digress.

I would love to see some Old Republic stuff. Hell they got tens of thousands of years to play with there.

While I would like to see a lot more non-jedi stories, I think the Force is kinda fundamental to the ST universe. Without it, would kinda be like GOT without the dragons. They weren’t in every GOT episode, but damn if they didn’t steal the scene whenever they appeared! They can do a lot with the force but not focused on the Jedi. It is supposed be kinda like mutations in the Marvel Universe, since the midi-/meta-chlorians are ubiquitous throughout life in the ST galaxy, there should be lots of lifeforms with the Force, though most probably don’t know beyond they are extremely “lucky.” It might be cool to see the stories of some of these characters.

I personally enjoyed the side stories more than the new trilogy. A lot of it might be to me disliking all the old cannon they threw out. I personally would recommend Solo and Rouge one. The new trilogy wasn't bad and things where carried over from the old cannon but I wished for more open ended movies. Maybe make Finn the focus of the first movie and set it up during the warlord era after the collapse of the empire. The second movie follows Rey and her meeting fin after the first movie. You hear what happened to the republic and the OG Star Wars people and the third movie deals with the first order.

I switched to linux and now I have to take the GIMP pill for my image processing. Fortunately its much more feature rich than paint.net. i should be able to accomplish more with it now. I pretty much stretched paint.net to its absolute limit and just cant edit the map with it anymore. The software is just to slow even with my beast of a pc.

I have to say though, linux has been a bit of a pill to swallow but it has been a blast setting it up and having more control over everything.

I’ve been meaning to get into the clone wars now that they’ve wrapped up the series years later.

I enjoyed it personally.

You had a higher GDP than me once. He is lucky at getting SciAdv specific issues. It happens. He’s also hyperfocused on that stat. I’ve tried to make Athretvari more “well rounded”—intelligent & cultured, healthy & wealthy, powerful & secure.

When you're number 1 in something you almost locked in to that stat. I wish I had a set direction like you seem to have when I first started.

Ma…Max you alright?

Can’t be our Max. Too much hair on his head. :)

The only thing I can see wrong with those flight attendants did was maybe duck-tape the guy’s head to the seat. I can totally understand duck-taping his body, but unless he’s gone full Walking Dead and is trying to bite people, no need to restrain his head. Otherwise, they deserve an award.

I finally have a national coat of arms I'm happy with. Took long enough to make :')

Nice!

If anyone wants a national coat of arms, just telegram me. I'm hella busy with work, but happy to spend what free time I have on heraldry x

I wonder who I pay off to become less corrupt.

Well. Good news. Even with the little activity we've had here for a spell, I've received zero TGs from people trying to make us merge with them. Looks like my notice is working at least.

I wouldn't mind "mergers" if the all came here to RP and didn't expect anything else in return.

Something we all chatted about just resurfaced in my head. I may have something, I hope you find interesting, for you all tomorrow. :)
