Although the Skarqan people agree with this sentiment, it has come to our attention that this is culinary genocide, and we cannot allow it to happen. Our internal defence force will be tasked with the defence and supply of Pizza with Pineapple, and all attackers will be repelled with the fiery strength of our morals.

Update on the now pizza refugee crisis

The pineapples, toppings, and pizzas deported have been welcomed into our citizen's foods, and while some reject them, a considerable amount of our population does not bother about the situation, and, to prevent an overflow in a few days, we recommend all nations open their gates to pineapple on pizza, or our sole nation will come tumbling down. As a sign of gratitude towards us, otherwise we will be forced to deport our own pizzas.

Verden Parliament comes to a decision on the pizza matter,

According to the recently passed article 24 of the Food Safety and Health Regulation, pineapple is now a fully recognised ingredient for any homemade and commercialized pizza. According to the Rivian health authorities, pineapple is "packed with nutrients, antioxidants, and other helpful compounds, such as enzymes that can protect against inflammation and disease", furthermore the sweet taste of pineapple provides a valuable gastronomic experience and the parliaments' restaurant chefs (invited to participate in the last plenary meeting) have observed how pineapple fits so well with some of the strongest Verdian Mozarella cheese.

New Zealandinian TV Shows a hit among Leo and Aquilian lower class workers. Government warns against the influence of foreign media.
After the Leo and aquila struck down it's ban on private media, many nations in Mahakam have exported their domestic entertainment and arts to the new market, numbering 5.9 Billion. While the government has not outright banned any TV shows or movies, they have censored politically contentious segments within media. The most affected of any nation in Mahakam being New Zealandinia. While other nations have experienced this, the exceptionally liberal nature of Zealandinian content has drawn the most attention from government censors. A notorious and prolific of these being the stiffling of transgender and homosexual characters. Either having the segments explicitly referencing it expunged, or their whole characters or episodes censored. News and Media segments from State and Private news agencies in New Zealandinia discussing or talking about 'Nationally Contentious' issues have also been censored.

We asked the Minister for Culture, the Arts and Media about this issue as well as the prime minister and recieved no comment. However when asked in a daily press broefing, the Prime Minister said that 'How other nations deal with foreign media and entertainment is their own issue. I wont complain about a non issue when Mr Eden has taken a step towards something good. Two steps forward and one back, is still progress.
