Das viertes kaiserreich

I blame the archaic education system. It teaches people how to get jobs, not to be rich.

In fact, that’s my main qualm with democracy. The fact that nothing ever gets solved, just endless pointless talking and scandals.

Oh yes, and on to the blasphemous ideal that everyone gets a say. no matter how illiterate, bigoted, impractical or mentally retarded they are.

I agree. It's ridiculous everyone's vote is worth the same. I'm not saying I'm better than the rest, but I don't think the dude smoking weed in the park with his troublemaking friends should have the same voting "power" as me.

That sistem could work if you see the people as a tool to serve the state, i on the other hand see the state as a tool to serve the people and for the state to serve the people it has to be democratic.
Im from Serbia and i can tell you this, in our 1000 years of history we only had a one true democratic leader Zoran Dindic who put serbia on a way to success and for that he got a sniper bulet in his brain.
After his death we where turned into a crime oligarchy and before Zoran it was all just a dictatorship after dictatorship after dictatorship.

Sure the Kingdom of Serbia was constitutional... if you ignore the pro king faction buying votes and the idiot Alexander of Yugoslavia who became a dictator and instead of fixing Yugoslavia he brought ruin to the nation and devided the Serb and Croatian people.

I hope you understand why i dont trust leaders with too much power, i was born in a country that was and still is a tool for the people in power to steal from the people, i just dont have trust in that sistem at all.

I don't think our education system is bad. If they just taught how to be rich, there wouldn't that many teachers, doctors, cops, etc.
There would be a lot of wanna-be investors, actors and influencers. None of which are essential, realistically.

Vantier wrote:But, realistically, symbols don't mean anything when the ones that actually rule are hated by half of the country. The monarch may be neutral, but he/she doesn't have the power to do anything. For example, Italy during WWII. And the king got deposed after the war, too.

Victor Emannuel III got deposed because he had fascist symphetises. It's just because the monarch does not have any power that they are the perfect symbol. In a way a symbol doesn't mean anything, but that's just the beautiful thing about the monarch.

Oruzia wrote:i mean its easy for you to say since you live in Belgium, a nation that everyone is surprised still exists on the map.
For example here in Serbia the monarchy cant come back, a small portion of nationalistic zoomers and some old boomers want them back.
The serbian center, left/right and altleft/altright basically hate them. I personally see no use in the monarchy to return.

I mean i dont think that a well functioning constitutional and democratic monarchy cant exist... but monarchies such as Saudi Arabia and such should not be allowed to exist.

I also feel uncomfortable to live in a nation in which someone is treated of higher value and is considered supperior just because he was born in a noble family.
Idk that's just my liberal view on the world.

That's exactly what I mean. A symbo who can represent ALL of the population. But besides that, everyone things Belgium is massively split, it's less as you all think. I mean it will almost never happen unless there is a revolution or there will be bigger nationalistic parties in the french and German part which will most likely not happen.

I visited Lancaster today, and decided to count the flags I could see. (In some of the streets, there was bunting for the flags of Italy and the UK which I have not counted)

7 British Flags
5 Ukranian Flags
3 English Flags
3 Italian Flags
2 Flags of Lancashire
2 Turkish Flags
2 Greek Flags
1 Vatican Flag
1 McDonalds Flag (yes really)

There is a campaigning period made for the candidates this is on May 28-31, the three days prior to that I want to recieve your statements, but I will send all the information in a telegram later to all the nominees

Police inc wrote:Bruh, y'all are tweaking. Democracy if properly practiced could work, but it isn't, so instead we live in a republic. The voting is broken because of gerrymandered districts that the oligarchs use to remain in power. I am not crazy. There are studies showing the direct correlation between money spent on a campaign, and who wins. The United States is further broken with its one party system(The illusion of choice), and making it harder for the people to legally remove those in power. I hate sounding like an extremist, but some days I think that the only way for true change is to overthrow the government. Sorry for the rant, these are my more extreme views further gaslighted by recent events. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Its probably not going to change in the near future. Older and moderate people vote for the best of two evils most of the time now while younger and more radical voters usually join third parties which are ignored or just lose interest in politics. Its fairly dystopian but since we have "democracy" its all fine.

Oh I’m not denying the importance of a degree in the slightest. Doctors, engineers, police, teachers and authority figures make a society. And I have utmost respect for those people. I simply feel that schools could teach financial literacy too, how to build a good portfolio etc.

Sure there are accounting classes too nowadays. But those hardly teach practical methods.

This is exactly the neoliberal bullsh** I hate.

Sorry for those who got notices from Arkhangelsk-Vologda. I replaced my Footbal worldcup factbooks to that account.

Usoniy wrote:why

There is no election for Director of RP, instead the position is chosen (or kept) by the President.

I'll be voting for Madrinpoor if they run for President again.
