I don't do nukes, costs too much money, plus radiation kills my men when they invade. also, we have countermeasures in place against MAD, so we aren't afraid of nuclear threats

To destroy the enemy's ability to fight. The infantry can fend for themselves with their mortars and vehicle-based direct fire support. And not to forget pointing a laser and getting a 1000 pound bomb dropped right where they want it by air support.

All of the artillery options mentioned need supply vehicles or methods in some way (though not as much for the ballistic missiles except in the form of a reload vehicle). In the 80mm mortar range they can typically be carried by a fireteam or squad-sized unit.
