Ha, the neat thing is that in the Imperium, we are among the 1% Most Intelligent without any of that! Decent policies on education and a culture of valuing intelligence seem to be enough.

To have the best human it is.

If you want to transcend that, the it is not enough.

There is a yuge ladder to climb of conceivable super intelligence modes of being.

Don't think of humans (or even equivalent AIs) as an end, instead think of them like a beginning.

This is just out, a factbook listing all those Präfekt-Commanders, Zenturios, Vizekonsuln and whatnot whom you've been reading about in my role-play posts. Read up on the Dramatis Personae of the Imperium here:

The following is a list of named characters that appeared in roleplay (RP) posts of Leonism so far. This is intended as a reference and is OOC knowledge, meaning most non-omniscient actors in roleplay will not know every one of these characters.

The current (latest) rank of each person is given in italics, see Rank system of the Imperium for details, as well as the gender and a short description of the role of the person in question.

With several parts of my roleplay closely interlinked with Loftegen 2, please see the Dramatis personae of Loftegen for further reference.

Full day ahead of you?

Enjoying the weekend and the nice weather (while it lasts).

There's a reason so many people decline when they are nominated to serve as Prime Minister...

As mentioned elsewhere, the Prime Minister is elected by the Council of Cantons from among those who have been nominated for the office by the National Assembly. The Prime Minister serves a six year term, with no constitutional limit on the number of terms that can be served. By tradition, holders of the office self limit to two terms.

A sitting Prime Minister can be removed from office by a two-thirds majority vote in the Council of Cantons, but only after a successful vote of No Confidence in the National Assembly. If the vote in the Council of Cantons doesn't reach the required two-thirds majority, the Prime Minister remains in office, and the vote of No Confidence counts only as a censure.

The Prime Minister appoints the heads of all of the executive ministries, subject to confirmation by the Council of Cantons by simple majority vote, as well as their immediated deputy ministers and other, lesser, offices. The Prime Minister also appoints all judges at the national level, again subject to confirmation by the Council of Cantons.

The Prime Minister is the head of government in Loftegen 2, and the de facto head of state, the latter due to Lady Zaharra's relative lack of interest in the day-to-day details of governing the county and in international affairs and relations. As such, the Prime Minister signs bills into law on the Lady's behalf, greets foreign heads of state, receives and dispatches ambassadors, and so forth.

The Prime Minister is the defacto commander in chief of the armed forces, excerising this power on behalf of the Lady in her absence (or in case of her indifference) through the Minister of Defense and the Joint Army-Air Force Council. The Prime Minister authorizes the use of nuclear weapons, and may delegate the power to determine exactly where and when they are used to subordinate officers.

The Prime Minister has the pleasure and privilege of meeting with the Lady from time to time to discuss matters of importance. The Prime Minister may request a meeting (which had better be something damned important); more often, the Lady will drop by, unannounced and unexpected. The venue is usually the Prime Minister's office, but not always. Prime Ministers have reported meetings taking place in the private quarters of Government House at all hours*; on golf courses, on airplanes, in theaters, even on a fishing boat in Lager Bay off the coast of Guiness Freaks while the Prime Minister in question was on vacation.

*This one creeps me out. I mean, they all do, but this one is the worst. Can you imagine waking up in the middle of the night to find her sitting next to your bed, staring at you with those damned eyes of hers?

Posting more factbooks now. Also do you think it would be okay if I posted factbooks on religion and leader even though I don't have enough population to put a faith and a leader down?

What general time period is your nation set in? What level of technology does it have?

Imaginary is set in modern day... but people willingly live an old-fashioned lifestyle for the most part, so it's a little cray feeling because like the tech is around, but ignored. :P

Set sometime in the nearish future. Perchan uses modern or post-modern tech for the most part, such as the Bergbahn magnetic hover-rail train system.
