ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE - 26 MAY 2029:
The Battle of Kulagsing, a long battle between Colonel Qian Hua's troops and a Monarchist regiment employing guerrilla tactics, has finally been won by our side. The Battle of Samal delayed our victory but its end (see below) allowed the regiment to finally be destroyed. Both the Santa Maria and the Malita Naval Bases have been liberated, and the army is now marching towards General Santos City.
The Battle of Samal has also been won by our side, ending the long siege on Brookston and allowing naval access to the Republic once more. The aerial bombings were a significant factor to our success, though its devastation of much of Samal Island and part of Brookston has been questioned by many, including Colonel Lian Zheng, who had ordered the attack.
Despite this, the battle in Mindanao is far from over. The Monarchists' Operation Phoenix Rising has reacted to East Sakhalin joining the war by bombing the cities of Roxas and Kalibo, as well as invading the municipality of Cabatuan in order to seize Iloilo International Airport. (To clarify, the airport is actually in the municipality and not in Iloilo proper. The Monarchists also did not bomb the airport as they planned to use it.)
Queen Lana I of Monarchist South Caleblan is offering a proposal to the East Sakhalinsk government: if they stand down and do not make any military engagements, then they will withdraw completely from their territory. She has even suggested that if Brutus I himself personally recognizes only her as the legitimate Head of State of South Caleblan, she will pay in full all damages caused to them. (Prime Minister Kevin Lart is loyal to the Monarchist South Caleblan and is currently serving as their Head of Government.)

Hayashi places his hands on the railing. He stands inside the barrack offices at Seochōsei (서張正), Saki Island, one of the islands of the newly built territory. He looks down at the fresh road bellow him, off-duty workers enjoying the day with their newly acquired medals flashing. He turns to look behind him, a fine wood desk with a name plaque on the side. A great map looms behind the desk, a map of the empire. He could pick out his favorite spots: Furudan, Chikura, Gaeseong, Simyang, Naha, Motoyama, and Ssangryō. It reminded him of his profession, and his passion of politics. He loves his country, and will fight to the death if he had to. He also respects those inside of the imperial borders, the Hokoanese were a very warm-blooded people. He had always thought they could understand him better than somebody from Sōkiang.
He looks down at his phone, 9:32 am, HNST. He scrolls around through his emails when he stumbles upon a message from the Minister of Public Affairs, Hwang Yamaga (やまが황). It reads, "This is urgent. The local public affairs facility in Bikin (비キン), Tōdongbuhōsanyama Province (東동부方산山) has been stormed by armed rioters who claimed to have been part of 'The Politarchy'. Their aims are to spread some sort of ideology. I don't believe it at all. But action must be taken to quash these rebels. I've already signaled the highest generals within the Imperial Army."
"This is a surprise. A few days ago I checked local municipal confidence. They were in the green, how? Why would rebels storm the offices? Now that is a question with an unknown answer... I hope I can find it."
Minutes later the 5th Infantry Division, 6th, 11th, and 14th are dispatched to combat the rebels. The 11th makes contact first and is able to break into the city. The other divisions encircle the rebels and are quickly able to immunize the situation.
About 5 hours later Hayashi receives a phone call. "Hello?"
"Yes, we've taken care of the rebels. You can rest again."
It hangs up immediately after that. "I still don't have my answers."

Uhm... Hn.... We have a problem...
One of our probes we sent to space in 2014 has detected a small object hurling towards earth at light speeds. We scanned it and there are radio transmissions coming from it. It should reach earth in just a few moments.
*I’m just as confused when you tell me it’s a co-op mission for us but for the target it makes sense* Darth Marr, If I’m not mistaken isn’t he the one with the heavy armor?
*I nod and we get into a ship* Tatooine, he has been spotted in small towns all over the planet.
Don’t underestimate this guy, apparently he’s an excellent duelist. Also remember he might have guards, nobody of his status would go without them. It’s kind of weird though I thought we were only fighting the Empire not the Sith.
