To much of her surprise, the Arrival of the Armed Men would rather startle her, and almost out of instinct or out of pure surprise would seem to revert back, only to stop before it would seem to alter her appearance only going as far as to change the color of her eyes, before noticing them take escort the two Scientists out from the tunnel they were once within, all the while she would be watching them herself, just being able to make her way out from the hole that was made by the rail gun impact, noticing their ship..
And for the first time in a while looking up at the planet above them, before as the ship was just starting to depart from the moon, leaving the lone Scientist behind either Intentionally or Unintentionally she would notice something occurring up above, and should he look up as well he would also notice the entire orbit of the planet above seeming to glow with a Bright white color, before the first impact was seen.
As the Entire Planet's Defensive network would open fire on the moon below it, one of the first shells would seem to immediately go through their ship, before more shots would follow, one by one the Domes around them would be turned into nothing more but Vapor from the impact of the rail guns, and to much of his surprise in the midst of the Barrage he would seem to be pulled away by someone or something, should he look back it would be the Queen from below, taking him back into the tunnels to be safer from the Barrage going on.
Eventually being able to successfully pull him back into the Tunnels, as the Vibrations caused by the Railguns would shake the rock around them.
She looked over. “Yess, Miss Ninfua?” Chrysanthemum set the dishes she had in hand down and walked over a knelt down.
Jack had all but ignored the companion other than giving her a slight nod. He dug through until he found something stronger than beer, or if only beer was available, grabbed two cans, opened one with his teeth, and started chugging.
“Yes and I’d be happy to share said reports with Iammelon once I get a direct line established with the golden mountain. Forget not that I need a secured line. Either we need scramblers and coding devices for our long ranged SatComm or I need a direct wire.” She snapped her fingers and the aide-de-camp ran to grab water for them. Fetching a large dragon made pitcher for the Drake. “Beyond that, I also wanted to discuss Naval Intelligence and when I can expect briefings on the rebel’s expected numbers. I need to know how many systems and how many theorized ships they could have. It’s imperative seeing as how most of our contributions to the UAC will be naval. Relevant to that, inform the Grand Drake Grand Admiral O’Donoghue will be arriving with Expedition Two in one month. In the mean time, I’m handling all aspects of Bezi contribution.” She chuckled discretely. “I have no control over the Quurat. But I’m sure they’re prepared for the circumstances, and I’m doubly so that Omni Intelligence will have met a match in their field.”
"Alright, everyone in?"
"No sir, Markway's slacking behind"
"Alrighty, I'll go get him"
Steve would run down to the deck as the ship flew higher into the sky, yelling and motioning for Markway to sprint to the exit, they weren't gonna wait for him if he was too slow. Markway, although running as fast as his suit would allow it, was relieved that he was finally getting off of this moon...or so he thought
A projectile flew into the ship as the planet lit up like a disco ball, the projectile hitting a major component. The ship's etherhulls were unable to delfect the projectiles as they came, and they dug into it, ripping their way through the ship and turning it into swiss cheese as it descended. With a flash, the DNS Big Long John was reduced to mere rubble. But the barrage continued, even as Markway hid behind a boulder to protect himself, and even as he tried to make way for the incoming shrapnel
Suddenly, he felt a pulling sensation, it was too quick for him to react, and he was swiftly dragged back into the hole he had escaped just minutes ago. He passes out, unable to take the stress of the situation ad he is pulled deeper into the depths of the cave.
Back in Dilberta..they heard everything..they heard the projectile incoming, and it only stopped a few seconds later, the last moments of the crew being seen as a fiery hell of twisted metal and burning material, before cutting off.
"There's no way to recover them, but we should send someone else to do the job..we just lost a vital ship in our defence force..next time..we'll let the Scientific Division handle it." A politician says in a dreadful tone.
"Hopeful..." Vellia looked to the Enclave and the numerous people they wonder past to get to the keep in the centre. A smile forming on her face as she walks with him "I suppose it is rather like a last bastion, but there are more like these all across the three provinces... Sometimes I wish that we weren't so scattered though... These small enclaves would make good targets for..." She goes quiet for a moment before she starts to smile again "But enough about that, there's a nice view of the valley from atop the keep."
It was true, they were at a rather casual part of their relationship for the most part. One of mutual respect with more than their fair share of teasing going both ways between them along with some healthy competition going between them now and again, ergo the drinking game that got them physically acquainted in the first place. Though truth be told he didn't mind having a partner that was bigger than him, regeneration was one of his races strong points so he can hold bragging rights without needing a length hospital bill for that shattered pelvis. And with his peoples love of wam environment he was very happy with everything that happened.
The young emperor couldn't help but do some ogling as his partner arose from their bedchamber with clothing that snugly clung to her divine physique. Badrik was no slouch, he was pretty physically fit but she was definitely winning out of the two of them in a fitness contest. Though as she made that joke accusation towards him he just chuckles as he leaned against the window "This Enclave's a small place, and our race is mostly monotonous, any rumours that arise would be swiftly put down by the thin walls and broken beds that leave our room." She wasn't the only one that enjoyed teasing, Badrick looked over to her with a smirk on his face and a mischievous look in his golden eyes.
There was rum and whiskey in the rather large refrigerator in addition to the beer, so Jack could choose from those as well. The female leaned against a wall and raised an eyebrow, "You got a lot to drown, huh? Sorry about Rei'Bull's insensitivity, by the way. He's a bit more jaded, and he certainly doesn't think you lucky siders can have it worse than him."
The Dragon grunted, but nodded, "Very well, a direct line will be established soon enough. Both forms will be implemented, just to be safe." The Dragon appreciated the water, taking a big lick of it before responding again, "You'll get such information in due time, given that we are not sure of the numbers ourselves just yet. It's a very chaotic situation. But rest assured the Bez's naval contributions will be well implemented, and given all the care they deserve. As for the Quurat, I'm sure they are skilled. My reminder is not for fear of their skill, but for fear of them underestimating Omnipo's. Just make sure to remind them. Any arrogance in this affair will not be tolerated."
As the Bombardment was Still occurring above them, the Queen would be bringing Markway down to the more Safer and Secure parts of the Tunnels, should he regain Consciousness he would witness her within her more larger and Alternate form, with him now upon her shoulders Approaching what looked to be a form of Entrance, with the Shock wave and the vibrations from the Impacts still being felt Even this far down.
Below The Surface | ??? | Ientian Chamber
And as the two of them would enter through this Entrance they would seem to both be within a Pressurized and Sealed Chamber, and a rather large one for that matter, on the walls, ground and Ceiling would all be made out of the same Black Material seen around the Crystal they had encountered her at, the Runic Engravings wouldn't seem to be present here, but the Chamber and those connected to it would be Lit up with a type of Light source hung on the walls and the Ceiling.
To him everything seemed to be Old and Ancient as if they were here for a Millennia, as she would Carry him throughout Several Chambers, Rooms and Hallways, and Eventually would witness other of her kind coming in Various shapes and Sizes, however there was one Similar Characteristic to them all, that being the Dark Exoskeleton.
However all of this would seem to Come to an end as they would reach a Private Chamber, where she would lay him down on what would appear to be a type of Pedestal, long enough and wide enough to fit him upon it before she would walk away for whatever reason being, leaving him there within the Private Room
Jack grabbed the rum. Sighing as he took a swig from the bottle. “Great for him. Born in hell and now thinks he’s the one with it all stacked against him. At least he didn’t get a life good enough to life before he got sent here. And is this finally you explaining to me what the hell is going on here?”
Chelmsby nodded, “understood. Then, if our business is... concluded, I suspect we shall be parting ways while we await naval intelligence, direct connections, and further reportings.” She stood up and saluted the dragon.
The demons run when a good mare goes to war
Dear Emperor Maximanius, Soul of the Zantine Emperor
The words that I write upon this parchment is with a heavy yet clear heart. Most importantly I want to stress the truth that we, the people of Equusalem love you and your people. The universe may try to divide us as it has time and time again but it will never break our bonds. For friendship is a concept that transcends time, space, memory, and even death. It did not bend to the Gate-Hoppers, the Eskavari, or even to the Psions. We did not survive out of superior tactics or technology, no we survived because we believe in each other. Supported each other in the darkest of times and never, ever lose hope. Even when time marches on and the great wars become a mere side note in a history book. The bonds we shared, the lessons we learned, will never be forgotten. Even when the stars themselves burn out.
It’s for this reason that while we stand on opposite sides of the line, Equusalem will never raise a fist to strike at Zantine. It’s idealistic, but you know it’s simply our way. We’ll never harm you because we love you. Just as we love all of Equusalem friends. We know that you may not view the same way. Nothing other than goodwill or honor would stop you from taking advantage of the bond that run between us. It’s after all, the perfect weak spot. Call us foolish if you wish, but we won’t care. For we know that life is harsh, that bad things have to happen in order for us to appreciate the good. Even in a time of war, our borders are still open to the Zantine. Trade will still flow among our stars. And friendship will always be maintained between the Equusalemites and the Zantines.
With the utmost of blessings, Princess Aarushi Chamak. Violet Cardinal of Equusalem.
“So, how does it sound?” Inquired the alicorn mare to her two personal advisors as she sat on the side of a round oak table. The advisors in question were both diplomats that hail from the Zantine and Anubite Empire respectively. They came into her court well before the civil war broke out and were fairly close friends. There was a sense of being a group of ‘old guards’ when they conversed in political affairs due to the age of their nations. Like in history the two served as a medium for Equusalem to speak to either empire. Such was the case this evening when they went over the decision made by the council to join the war.
“It certainly has that trademark Equusalemite cheesiness. If I was any of the younger races I would have missed the subtle subtext completely.” Was the response that came from the well groomed Zantine diplomat. “Perfect weak spot my rear. Perfect because it’s perfect. No sane ruler would point out a flaw to another ruler and ignore it.”
The Anubite nodded with his fellow diplomat. “From the setup I’m assuming you’re testing how much the Emperor know of ancient history?” He directed the hypothesis to the cardinal who gave a smile in return.
“Equusalem has been a quiet nation. You two know this. For the past millennium we’ve mostly stayed to ourselves. All the while preaching about harmony and peace.” As such it gave way to an unflattering image of Equusalem in some Iammelonian eyes.
“Leading to people like Monrio to believe that Equusalem is a pushover, that it’s a parasite that relies on the Iammelonian navy for protection.” The Zantine finish the rest of her train of thought. He had a strong feeling that it was why he didn’t bother to pay heed to Equusalem, believing them to pose not enough of a threat to deal with them. Considering Equusalem doesn’t flaunt their navy, Monrio might even believe that Equusalem don’t even have a navy.
“Wordplay aside, this is a good enough letter Aarushi. It gets the point across.” The Anubite complimented.
“Much appreciated.” She had been stuck on the letter for a few hours. Sometimes she would begin writing only to erase it.
“I’ll make sure it’ll be delivered through the correct channels.” The Zantine ensure his old friend. Knowing that if fell in the wrong hands they may try to take advantage of this.
“Thank you, I appreciate it.” She warmly said.
“If that’s all I believe we’re done here for today?” The Anubite asked his fellows.
“We’ve exhausted everything that needed to be said. So we’re free to go our separate ways for now. May ALL of us come home safe and sound.” With that said the group got out from their seats and gave a group hug before parting. The two diplomats leaving the alicorn in the meeting room as they both exit out into the hallway. The Anubite diplomat was tasked to bring the news that Equusalem will side with the union to Tyrf. Meanwhile the Zantine will bring the letter to Istanbull stating that all ongoing treaties between them are still ongoing and that Equusalem will never attack them.
The hug hit him hard, emotionally, mentally and physically. He's holding back his tears so hard right now, even then this isnt the first time that she showed him affection but this one, where its just the both of them in a non-serious or non-threatening situation just made him at ease. He breaths lightly, his body relaxes for the first time. Lightheaded yet her embrace made it all better. He simply wants her in her embrace, nothing else nothing more, it is enough to rekindle his passion of whatever things he has long forgotten or abandoned. Her sweet scent flows into his nose as his face is on her bosom but he dosen't mind. He simply lets himself get hugged by her.
"T-th-than-thanks..." You can hear the genuine happiness and thankfullness in his voice, emotions locked deep inside his heart with her being the key.. no not even a key, a battering ram. He can express herself freely around her now.. "J-just a little longer..." He says wanting to be hugged longer.
In responce to this she would simply continue to hug him, still attempting to not put much force upon him while being hugged, and still giving him enough space to breath and easily escape her hold should he desire to escape, however despite this she could tell something was up with him, Noticing the break in his voice and the hesitation he had as he would speak.
Not only sparking her interest and Curiosity but making her worry, eventually sometime later into the hug she would begin to speak moving her arm to pat his head as she would speak towards Baeusthair; her voice filled with a noticeable hint of fright and concern as she would speak;
"If there's anything you need to say.. Or anything you need to do, tell me im here for you, and if that means finding a way to stay here longer with you, I'll do it, but... I do have my limits"
"Then we should depart to Estantaesi." Hadria suggested. "Shall we?"
"Perhaps. But that means....a Primarch may appear soon." Elzi said thoughtfully, looking up.
"Pick a target." Archon remarked simply.
"Training. Keeping the senses sharp. No?" The Mando'ade replied.
The man sighed. “I’ll slot you down for Marine training next week. Is that all?”
A Few Days Later - Instabull, Imperial Konstantinopl Palace
The Equusalemian letter traveled for quite a while to reach the Imperial Palace on Instabull, and a fair few security checks to ensure it was genuine and not a Union trick or carrying anything dangerous besides the letter itself. Regardless, it passed the checks and soon the diplomat carrying it was walking through the Imperial Palace to personally deliver it to Emperor Maximanius. The Emperor was in his study, taking some time alone to read some texts on warfare, to help him consider the next step of his Empire's offensive westwards. That was when the diplomat arrived, placing the letter in front of him, "There's the news from the Violet Cardinal, your majesty. Not the worst outcome, but I believe it's something you should see for yourself."
"Very well. I'll take a look then at what our friends in Equusalem have to say. In the meantime, you are dismissed." The Emperor's tone was clear, and so the diplomat bowed and moved to leave. In the meanwhile, Maximanius picked up the note. He looked side to side, noting that the only ones in the room were his contingent of Rangian Vanguard personal guards, Taurus who he trusted, and was satisfied he could read it in peace. And so, he did, frowning somewhat but not entirely displeased. It was about what he had to admit he expected, but it was a shame nonetheless. Leaning back in his chair, he sighed, speaking softly to himself, "Well, it takes one weight off my shoulder. Monrio will certainly not be as happy, but the Empire doesn't act for his sake. Our own obligations will be upheld. Besides, striking north was never in the plans, we keep going west and take back what is ours. I'll let Omnipo and the Valorians worry about the north. Although... This is opportunity of another sort. The Empire will come out of this war better than when it entered, no matter which side wins. I have already seen to that with the Ghashyr. This provides me with yet another means of ensuring the Empire will only gain, no matter how the war goes." He turned his head to one of the Rangian Vanguards in the room, and spoke with an authoritative command, "Zendros! Fetch Prince Leonious and Princess Caldera! I'm sending my children on a mission northwards, to see about this friendship treaty lasting, and a bit more. I have a few special parameters..." The Taurus saluted the Emperor, and moved off to grab the two named royals, and bring them to their father so he could explain their role in the upcoming future.
Around the same time the Imperial Shuttle carrying the two royals north set off, the Anubite diplomat's letter reached the Golden Mountain, and the Iammelonian Union happily accepted the aid of Equusalem in the Iammelonian Civil War, with Tyfrondor thanking their council for this wise decision. Not to mention, also preparing some diplomats of his own to send off North for coordination in the war, as well as his own special mission.
The woman sighed, shaking his head, "Oh, he didn't go without a good life. The difference is that even the smallest possibility of going back doesn't exist for him, or me. Still, he has to control his attitude." Then she was silent, and finally nodded her head, "Well, to put it in simple terms, you're in a different galaxy now, after going through a one way portal. This galaxy belongs to Cyboar. Entirely. We are some people who don't belong to the Boar yet, but it's all about running away to live another day rather than fighting."
The Dragon spoke up first, not quite finished, "Hold, there is one more thing. And that is the establishment of Iammelonian oversight. While we do not wish to interfere with your activities and ability to function as much as possible, this is an Iammelonian war and so Iammelonian oversight is required. This will mean Iammelonian officers incorporated into your ranks, in advisory roles. They don't need any sort of command ability, but they must be there to advise Bezi forces in Iammelonian sensitivities."
"I concur, we shouldst plan out our 'tours' as well" It would be strange after all if she was supposedly here to tour and not actually tour. One need to put effort into their cover to make it work.
"No need to worry about that." Came a sudden voice from the doorway where they would see the doctor leaning her back against the frame. "I had someone gather your things." Heulyn wanted to pout and she knew Barchiel know what's best for her. She would've been sent away from the war front even if she was not offered the chance to go. That and she figured Barchiel wanted to make sure she was taking her medicine. "Heulyn is all free to go to, I'll check her out. You take care of yourself Heulyn." The amziel in question could sense that is was a order. She really had took her doctor for granted many times. With everything settled she got out of bed to clean herself up and get into something to wear. Once that's done she leaves with Tarset.
The agreement was appreciated by Asmis, who nodded, "Excellent! So, we should try and cover ground, give us both time to tour and for the equipment to do its work. First I say we stop by somewhere that Ialao would make sense being. The Delvitinaou Cathedral is a good first stop, it's a nice big cultural sight. And, importantly for anybody trailing you, gives plenty of crowds and cover to work with. So they should be confident trying to start tagging you from there. Secondly, we can pass by the Valorian Arena in the area. Less populated, but also fitting for any Confederate sympathizers given that Valai joined them. Of course, importantly, it would also have a rather different set of people than the Cathedral, so anybody following us would be more noticeable. Finally, we can stop by the Nebula's Reach Dragon Roost. A nice big specialized tavern for Dragons. It's a fancy place, and we'll have support their for finally catching the one trying to trail us. Any other ideas?"
Lady Tarset was rather surprised to see Barchiel already prepared, but it was a pleasant surprise. She smiled and nodded to the doctor, "Thank you, Doctor Barchiel! This is appreciated. I'll make sure she has anything she needs. Thank you again." With that, she moved out, leaving with Heulyn. They were heading towards Lady Tarset's personal shuttle, the same one used to get her to Angelarium in the first place. Guards, some of whom were Mystics, were standing closeby, keeping up a subtle and barely visible shield just in case of a further attack. But it did not come, the walk to the shuttle was fine. It was a luxury craft, able to comfortably transport Lady Tarset and her retinue long distances while providing ample living space and comfort. It was of course also given a good escort in terms of a fleet, which was waiting in orbit. Lady Tarset showed the shuttle to Heulyn and spoke, "Well, this trip back home will take a while, but this shuttle will make the journey quite livable. So, I hope that this will make the trip better for you."
"How do you know Ishben? Or get to, I guess? Sectauri never really get time to speak to new people." Ninfua looked up at Chrysanthemum with interest for an answer.
He nodded. “Well there we are then. He’s an asshole and I’m stuck in a dimension run by cybernetic assholes.” He took another swig. “I’m going to go find a place to drown myself in.” He bowed his head and walked away.
She nodded. “Send over your men at their earliest convenience then. I’ll handle installing them into our facility. And like I said, it will be easier to share information with Iammelon once we have a direct line established.”
Yajana could see it too, seeing that the regular infantry did not share the indomitable feeling that the Zerg leaders had. Though that was understandable, they had alot more to worry about then just losing their lives... They had friends, family and loved ones elsewhere on this or other planets to worry about. But that is exactly the reason why they needed to start winning. That was why it was time to start this offensive. "Sieg... I want that base gone... Use the Nydus worms. Now." She says looking over to her while Yajana started to brings her hand out infront of her as small sparks start to erupt just in front of her palm. Mierl would recognise this as the explosive type psionics she created back on the ship before they came to Proscore. "Xernus, Zemia, be ready."
After that order she definitely had the idea of surprise on her mind as Sieg knew what Yaj wanted her to do. She had to admit, it was a pretty funny idea. Needless to say she had the Nydus burrow deep under the ground as the worms encircled the Omnipo encampment to weaken the ground beneath it before Yaj motioned with her free hand to the landed transport vessel. "No escape, nowhere to hide for those that follow Omnipo!" The worms start to collapse the ground under the Omnipo base before a nydus worm breaks through the ground and impales the transport ship the Omnipo forces used to land with. "Wiz!" The Nydus worm retreats back under the ground while the Zerg forces start to advance, capitalising on the confusion and havoc they've used for Yajana to be teleported up above the base to trust her hand down towards the base to unleash all the explosive energy she stored up in her hand "Daisy cutter!" Wiz immediate teleported her back as tremendous explosive was unleashed right on top of them. Mutalisks and Hydralisks running anti air duty while Bainlings and Ravanagers start moving in to take out survivors.
Seig raised a scaled eyebrow to the attack before she looked to Yajana "Why did you not follow your own plan?" Yajana just took in heavy breaths before she adjusted her hair "Cause Omnipo is a big corporation that isn't stupid. They know we have powerful Psi-users down here so they likely have someone equally powerful that can do recon. Listen in to what we have to say, even if they an't hear they could likely still watch us... See what we are planning... So is we mix things us and remain a wildcard we can stay ahead of their predictions. Look at it this way... The opening move is ours even though they held the advantage, and we can still come out on top."
Melyphus took that onboard before she noticed that they were being followed. "It would appear we have company..." She raised her hand up in front of her as a tattered looking grimoire appeared before her. An old and gnarly looking thing made from some type of beasts hide. "Combo-magic: [Proximity bomb], [Nova], [Multi-clone], [Remote Detonation] and finally [Seeker]. Multiplying Star Bomb" Above Tamour's head, a star shaped crystal would appear before it just as quickly soared behind him, every inch it moved away from the caster it multiplied by 2. Pretty soon that duplication was in the high tens as the bombs all created a massive screen of bombs between the Admiral and the Gunship. Though they soon all started to seek the gunship even as they multiplied. "A rather effective spell. The best part about it is it takes no excess mana for the bombs to multiply. They take it from the surrounding area."
Piper just smirked and rolled her eyes as she stood up "In my experience, desperate people end up doing alot of mistakes. In a situation like that you just end up pissing off your partner, and you know full well what happens when I get pissed off." Pretty soon after that, Thatcher teleported the both of them down alittle bit away but still in front of the offices. As not to spook anyone. Hopefully.
Harlock looked rather confused for a moment after he found her, mostly because he couldn't detect where they guy that was just here is anymore. Okay thats weird maybe Jazmin can explain. He thinks to himself before she tells him she has a great idea to get away from the war. In truth he did want to stay away from the politics of the situation, personally it sounds like a drag and would get really depressing... "An idea? Well lets hear it. Anything to get away from this for awhile till it dies down."
Within that hour of taking them in for a landing he got a shower and got himself redressed into more appropriate civilian attire, a nice grey blazer with the sleeves rolled up to the elbow over a red T-shirt with blue Firstborn heraldry on it along with grey jeans and boots. He waited on the ships ramp after they docked for her to get down to meet him. "I wonder if we should leave the cat here or take her with us..."
Alicia nodded to her Ghosts suggestion, she didn't like the thought of leaving her dad alone but she had her other siblings looking out for him in these dire times... She needed to step up and do something for her father in this turbulent time. "To Estantaesi then." She says standing from her bed and readying a change of clothes before heading for her ship that her father provided for her. A cruiser that was fully staffed with extra security just for his ease of mind really. They were away in no time bound for the planet that Hadria told her about.
"A primarch...? What are those? I'm not very well versed in your peoples legions all that well... Are they one of them?" Helka says as she tilts her heads to the side as she looks up to Elzi.
That was a very simple remark, but it was straightforward and to the point, he was almost sad that no one in this galaxy had any playful banter around them. Why was he always stuck with serious sticks in the mud? Bah anyways. "Truth be told, I'm just thinking of kidnapping any old fighter or whatnot that can put up a interesting fight. Especially those with special abilities... But one person you must bring me. Is Draco Meyek. He will resist and his power is most likely something beyond your bad luck so don't try to use that to hurt him. He has [Absolute existence]. So all you need to do is bring him to me, leave his mate be. I am serious. Hurt her and he will retaliate in a big way... Athailian's are rather die hard about their mates safety. I was actually wounded by one of their normal soldiers once when I told him I blew up the planet his family and lover was on. He died after the attack from using up all his life force but it did wound me... He was a magnificent example of the type of people I want in an ideal universe." He says leaning back in his chair as he smiled ear to ear "I remember the battle well... The blazing blue aura and red vapour that rose off of his body as he fought and murdered hundreds of my proxy's in mere swings of his blade, and when I appeared above his world he managed to severe one of my heads with a powerful technique he called [White Star execution] before I even noticed he did so... After that he turned to dust... I allowed him to die properly out of respect" Erox's eyes were filled with suh nostalgia as he reminisced over that battle. "I hope there are more people like him amongst the races of this galaxy. Willing to use up their very life essence to put me down."
Harlock didn’t feel anything, anyone, and Jazmin was acting like she hadn’t been talking to anyone either. It was almost like he wasn’t there. There was a noticeable long red hair on her shirt, as she was wearing black. Jazmin smiled. “I had just remembered a system up and out towards the west! It had two planets if I remember, a cute little place we could get away to for the war! Though, I really can’t remember when it was I went there...”
Liline was wearing a white collard shirt, no tie, a grey vest, and grey slacks on, with button boots tucked under the pants. She cane out to him. “We’re leaving the cat, right?”
It was so dark
Markway saw nothing as eh was dragged to an unknown location, it was too dark for him to see anything at all..
he forgot to open his eyes.
What he saw was incredibly strange, dark carapace walls with dim lighting, if he didn't remember where he was, he'd had believed he was in a totally different planet. He arose from the pedestal he awoke on, sitting and leaning down as he looked at his readings...Oxygen levels? in the ether? strange..Trusting his readings, he slowly crawled out of the space suit he was issued, the inner linings of the onesie creating a squeaking sound as he dragged his rather sweaty body out of it, like a spider molting out of it's overgrown shell. He didn't realize how much the suit smelled until he finally squeezed his way out of it. Hanging it up on the nearest decoration, he set out to figure out where the heck he was.
The environment of the chamber he was in made him uneasy, the slightest of sounds would make him jump..If only he could use his flashlight..but it broke during the bombardment. If only he had nightvision..He vowed to eat more carrots when..if he made it back to Dilberta.
He smelled death everywhere he went, wherever there wasn't the stench of rotting meat, he smelled cedarwood..a stench he would despise to his grave. As he went through, he discovered room after room, each seemingly empty. He felt hunted, like something was going to pop out of the darkness and rip him to shreds if he didn't stop moving. He was a geologist, not a militia unit..he couldnt even wield a weapon if he needed to, and that made him much more scared than ever before.
As he would Continue throughout his exploration of the hive Catacombs, encountering room after room, and hallway after Hallway, it would seem that the Tunnels and Architecture of the Hive would seem to stretch on forever, Unbeknownst to him he was just about to encounter a change in this Architecture, Should he look ahead, he would notice something Unusual, A Singular Glowing Obelisk, seeming to be no larger than him with a Distinctive Green glow to it.
Should he Approach this Obelisk, it would seem to Illuminate the area he was within, and not only would Reveal more of the area he was starting to enter, but it would also seem to Activate something as well.
The new room he was within would seem to be large, and wide with what seemed to be Addtional entrances and Exits Located all around the walls, now standing in the middle of a large room, with a Pit below him stretching down for however long, eventually though this wouldn't be the only thing and should he be just now starting to wonder where exactly he was within he could hear Footsteps right behind him, echoing throughout the Devoid and Barren Landscape, followed by a Familiar voice, the one of the female that they had encountered ago, before their ship was Destroyed in the Ensuing Hail of fire,
