Spode Humbled Minions stepped down as Director of Foreign Affairs and The Tirol Region was selected as his replacement. There have been a number of reassignments of ambassadors which may be viewed here.

The League's Defense Forces Foreign Report

Throughout February/since our last report, The League's Defense Forces have continued maintaining and active presence. The most well known activity performed was our attempts in the sieges of The Mystical Council, a region which was unfortunately griefed largely by senseless invaders despite our best efforts. Despite this setback, we have had several other successful initiatives in the past month.
As discussed in an earlier report, we conducted a bilateral detagging run with The Union of Democratic States Armed Forces which was a successful operation for the both of us. Not long after, we led a liberation of Warzone Airspace with our allies from 10000 Islands, covered 
here
Lastly, the LDF has begun a new officer training process which will culminate in the development of a new rank in our current system, which will reported on in more depth in the future.
Consulate Foreign Report

The second session of the XVI Council of the Republic began on 14 February.
The Tirol Region has been appointed as Director of Foreign Affair of The League, replacing Spode Humbled Minions. Spode accepted, after the fact, to be appointed to the position of “Executive Advisor” so that he can remain active in important government channels.

Declaring:
That a state of war exists between the Lone Wolves United (LWU), The Brotherhood of Malice (BoM), The Black Hawks, the Osiris Fraternal Order (OFO), and the government and the people of The League and making provisions to prosecute the same.
Whereas the named belligerents have committed unprovoked acts of war against the treatied allies of the government and the people of The League:
Therefore be it resolved by the Council of the Republic of The League that the state of war between The League and the imperialist invader aggressors which has thus been forced upon The League is hereby formally declared; and the Office of the Consulate is hereby authorized and directed to employ the entire military forces of The League and the resources of the government to carry on war against the invader menace; and, to bring the conflict to a successful termination, all the resources of the region are hereby pledged by the Council of the Republic.
The grave and mighty decision which has been weighed on the conscience of the Consulate is deemed necessary by the fact of the grave crimes committed by the united forces of raiderdom against the helpless regions of the world; their transgressions are many, and their malice knows no bounds. The threat posed by major raider regions to the founderless regions of the world has only escalated in recent months.
While due caution is required in confronting the many-faced threat of raiding, recent events have made such restraint ineffective as a deterrent to prevent the manifold violations of regional sovereignty the world has witnessed in days past. Since December 2021, The League has kept a formal alliance with the Warzone Empire, a flourishing coalition of Warzone regions under the leadership of God-Emperor One Small Island in Warzone Sandbox.
The League’s commitment to the upholdment of regional sovereignty is well-known, and to retreat from this ideal would only entreat further aggression. Thus, pursuant to section two of the Golden Eagle Pact, it is the duty of The League to stand with the Warzone Empire when she finds herself assailed by the legions of Raiderdom. At major update on 13 March 2022, the belligerent regions named above crashed into Warzone Sandbox, toppling the legitimate government and griefing the region without cause. This crime committed against the natives and legitimate government of Warzone Sandbox cannot go unaccounted for.
There is no meaningful distinction between a normal region and a warzone in the eyes of The League: a treaty ally is a treaty ally. There can be no debate that when the sovereignty of our allies is violated, The League will rally to the call. To refrain from such would defy reason and bring our credibility into disrepute. It is our stance that the organizations which carried out this raid are irredeemable. The culture the aggressors have cultivated and the acts which they perform are more akin to barbarism than civility.
We, The League, have determined to undertake a course of action to sanction these enemies of the world, to disempower them where possible, to foil further efforts to undermine regional sovereignty, and to unrelentingly pursue the course of their ultimate destruction. Thus, in addition to the initial declaration of war:
Any person from the aforementioned organizations is banned from all Leaguer property. Potential formal proscriptions as outlined in CRL 29 will be evaluated by the government as necessary beyond this measure.
At the discretion of the Office of the Consulate, in consultation with the remainder of the executive, any raider individuals may be removed from Leaguer venues during this conflict.
Any questions or other forms of inquiry regarding this announcement can be directed to any of the signing individuals below. We understand this is a drastic step in action, and hope that our allies understand it as a necessary reaction to an act of extreme hostility against an ally.

There have been a number of developments in the Department of Foreign Affairs, chief among these is the declaration of a state of war with four inglorious raiding regions after consensus amongst all TL leadership to stand by our allies in Warzone Sandbox as per 
our treatise.
Further in our battle against raiderdom, The League Department of Foreign Affairs pursued closer relations with The Order of the Grey Wardens culminating in the ratification of the Ampëz–Weisshaupt Compact formalising our longstanding cooperation with TGW with a codified alliance.
As a consequence of our declaration of war, which included the Osiris Fraternal Order, two former embassy partners, The West Pacific and Lazarus have been withdrawn, The League Department of Foreign Affairs recognises and respects the commitment to alliances which we hold equally strongly. Our ambassadors have been reassigned to steadfast partners.
On 27 March, an offsite consulate was agreed with Balder, a first step in a mutually beneficial partnership. Quebecshire was assigned as the diplomatic consul.
On 29 March, owing to the effective closure of Wintercrest The League's embassy to Wintercrest was closed and the ambassador reassigned.

The League's Defense Forces Foreign Report

The League's Defense Forces have seen a successful month of contribuing to defender operations. In addition to providing critical support to operations such as the liberations of Nova Historie and NANI, we had exceedingly high turnout at a number of occupation defenses, having double digit turnout at those on March 25th.
Beyond operational successes, we have welcomed several new members into our organization who have excelled as defenders, and we announced the Lieutenant's Program, which has led to the training of new officer candidates.

Consulate Foreign Report

Since 1 March, in response to acts of aggression against our treaty ally the Warzone Empire, The League declared war against several raider organisations. The Consulate made the decision to ban all raider organisations from The League's venues of communication and governance. The Consulate oversaw Council nominations and the selection of the new Speaker, Ajakanistan. The Consulate is pleased at the ongoing Foreign Affairs work by the new Director of Foreign Affairs, Tirol and new foreign affairs successes such as the Ampëz–Weisshaupt Compact with TGW.

Council Foreign Report

The Council has been very active this month. First of all the Council nominations were opened on 8 March, with the following reaching quorum: Ajakanistan, Dinonet, East Yourtanad, New Makasta, Karimun Jawa, Spode Humbled Minions, and The Tirol Region. On 14 March, Ajakanistan was selected as Speaker of the Council, replacing the previous Speaker East Yourtanad. On 13 March, the Council voted unanimously to declare a state of war with four raiding regions as a result of their raid upon Warzone Sandbox, treaty ally of The League. On 19 March, the Council voted unanimously in favour of the Ampëz–Weisshaupt Compact with The Grey Wardens. On 24 March, CRB 3 – An Act to end CRB #3 was put to vote, replacing the labelling system of council bills and acts for all future council legislation to aid in the identification and categorisation of legislation.
