'Dik Dur! İYİ Olacak' / Meral Akşener

İYİ Party founded by 'Iron Woman' Meral Akşener

POLITICS– After she was kicked out of the MHP, rumors ran rampant on what her future would be. If this future would be in an existing Turkish political party, in NATO politics, or would it be through her own party. It was just hours ago that the nation go its answer as Meral Akşener took to social media to announce the formation of İYİ Party (Good Party), its name paying homage to the Kayi Tribe that which the Ottoman Empire came from.

Meral Akşener's announcement of forming her own party has been described as the 'worst case scenario' by every single political party in Turkey due to her personal popularity across almost every demographic. When she served as Prime Minister from 2018-2020 her approval rating never dipped bellow 73%, even when President Bahçeli's approval rating was in the low 40s.

Many have accredited her massive popularity to her time as spent as the Mayor of İzmit from 2007-2018, however her time as the first female speaker of parliament made Akşener a household name in the early 2000s (1997-2005). She was speaker despite being from the opposition party, as part of a deal made by the MHP and CHP to keep stability. Her rise in recent years prior to become Prime Minister came as the İzmit Mayor, when the province had become one of the nations leaders. Being the first to implement Akşener's 'vision 2023' project when she took office, the early success of the project by mid 2008 resulted in the CHP government working with Akşener to adopt her plan at a nationwide level. Which many accredit to Turkey's rise in the early 21st century to great power status.

Meral Akşener was elected to the Grand National Assembly after a 13 year absence, winning comfortably as part of the MHP. She instantly was made the leader of the MHP's parliamentary group after she entered office, and in less than 3 months President Bahçeli had appointed her as Prime Minister.

However Akşener's rise to power in the MHP suddenly shifted balance between the five factions that control the party. The Grey Wolves, who stay loyal to the party boss. The reformists (the Bahçeli wing), the traditionalists (the Akşener wing), the Neo-Ottomans and Turanists. Under the leadership of Bahçeli after the passing of Alparslan Türkeş, the party moved away from the traditionalist wing firmly into the reformist wing. With Turanist and Neo-Ottoman groups being welcomed into the party. But when Akşener came to power, the traditionalists began to take high positions in the party. Though many going over to the Anatiolian Welfare Party would spell disaster for Akşener, as the ARP would become the third largest party in the Grand National Assembly. Now Bahçeli finding strength from his Neo-Ottoman allies formed a new coalition, and kicked out the woman from the MHP that the MHP's founder wished would be succeed by.

Akşener in the last poll done by TRT that asked 'between all politicians in Turkey, who would you want as President', Meral Akşener was the only one who got over 30% of the vote. With recent polls showing that she is most popular amongst college students, veterans/military, conservatives, traditionalist Kemalists, Feminist circles, minority groups, and former MHP voters. Former MHP voters make up 13-18% of the voting field, they did not show up in the previous elections for the MHP which cost them huge this time around. Meral Akşener is by far the most popular candidate amongst them, with it clear that the new 'İYİ' Party already know this, as most advertising for the new party has directly targeting that category. As well as a lot of marketing seen toward different electoral groups where Akşener preforms personally well.

The case of Murat Altan Osmanoğlu

TRT interview with Murat Altan Osmanoğlu / TRT Euro

POLITICS – Murat Altan Osmanoğlu is the current heir to the House of Osman, and is the great grand son of the last Ottoman Sultan Mehmet the Fourth. At the age of 39, he has been trying to return to Turkey for the last 20 years. He has on repeated instances denounced and claim to the the throne that would complicate matters of 'returning home'.

The House of Osman have been banned from Turkey since the very founding of the Republic, however over the last 30 years these rules have been relaxed significantly. With the family being allowed to travel, and even be buried in Turkey. But they are not allowed to remain in the nation for more than five days over the period of five months. This has not stopped Murat Altan from gathering a large following in Turkey, which has corresponded with the rise of Neo-Ottomanism. Something that many in the MHP, CHP, and other large parties have called 'dangerous to the fabric of the Republic'. With even talks of declaring Murat Atlan a traitor to the state in 2015.

The case that has been made by Murat Atlan has been best summarized by him when he spoke to TRT yesterday.

"This, just like you, is my nation as well. I should as a Turk have the right to live in my own country. I understand the fears of those who see my last name, and then see what monarchies across the world are and become fearful. But fear not, I have no ambition to the throne. The democratic ideals of the republic must be preserved by any means necessary. That is something we all agree to, especially in times like this. But it must be true that we cannot ignore our Ottoman past and we must embrace it. The last 800 years happened, and that is something we must be proud of. Together, we will succeed, and we will keep our nation great. But I ask this to the Turkish people, please let me be part of this great nation. Let me not just experience the Olympics in Istanbul, but let me be part of the Turkish experience for the rest of my days."
    "

Wudiya Alyawm - الودية اليوم/Evening News
After the situation in Tarabulus was brought under control by members of the Hizb Al-Arz political militia several reports of increased unrest have piled up from several centers around the region of Wudiya reaching a height point at the Beirut outskirts where riots organized by Salafist activists have broken out into open conflict, armed Christian youth organizations and the Salafists exchanged shots for the past couple of hours and they continue to do so as we report, yet as it is typical for our region, the Police has yet to have gotten involved.
Yet again we wait to see if the Sahurian government will set their foot down and bring order to their citizens.

Board of Works

Construction on a high-speed railway across the Zhen-TSPR border will be going ahead, after 10 years of deliberation and planning.

In October 2010, plans were announced for a 530 km railway linking the prefecture of Xishuangbanna to Vientiane, Laos, with possible connections to Thailand. As of 2020, a conventional railway link from Kunming to Mohan (a border town next to Laos) has been under construction; construction started in September 1, 2015. Now, with plans by Seri Sayam to construct their own high-speed rail network, the Board of Works has decided it to be advantageous to create a cross-border link.

Construction of the Kunming-Mohan link will proceed, but with extra electrification to make it compatible with high-speed rail. An extra $12 billion ZGD will be invested into the project by CSCEC, with completion estimated to be by 2022. Over 50,000 extra hands from local communities have been brought on the government payroll, as an effort to speed construction and mitigate the effects of unemployment.

            Build it Higher
Holden builds factories in Homebush, Katherine,Yanchep, and Launceston
            June 12th

    HOMEBUSH

In Inner West Sydney, Holden & United's Homebush Plant will build the new Holden Monaro and Monaro Speedster. The Monaro will be returning to Australia after an almost 15 year absence from the Australian market in a bid to increase Holden's share in Australia's economic market. Holden's Homebush Plant, situated in a former warehouse on Parramatta road, is one of Holden's smaller factories, and therefore will only produce the Monaro and Monaro Speedster.

    KATHERINE AND YANCHEP

In a bid to open more factories and create more jobs in more rural areas, Holden has opened its first factory in Kingsland and Western Australia with Katherine and Yanchep respectively. Many of Holden's Commodore-based models (Commodore, Calais, Berlina, and Statesman) will be built in these factories. They will also build the Tjukurpa.

    LAUNCESTON

Launceston, Holden's first plant in Tasmania, will be the primary factory for Holden's soon-to-be-released Holden Classics Series.

'Together will be the voice of the American working close' -Democratic Nominee Bernie Sanders

MILWAUKEE

Bernie Sanders accepts the Democratic nomination in Milwaukee

The Bernie Revolution takes over the Democratic Party

DEMOCRATS– After a heated primary against a stacked Democratic field, Democratic Socialist Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders beat out Joe Biden in the final states as he unified the party behind him to take on a increasingly popular President Trump. Especially as the US economy continues to boom under Trump.

Prior to the convention Bernie had promised to put forward a woman as his VP Candidate, and he did so with the second term congresswoman from Hawaii in Tulsi Gabbard. Becoming the first woman of color to nominated as the Vice Presidential candidate in American history. During the convention, many cabinet positions were announced by the Sanders team in a move to unify the party as quickly as possible. Andrew Yang being given the position of Secretary of the Interior, and Pete Buttigieg Secretary of State. Joe Biden was offered a position as a senior advisor to the President. Billionaire Mike Bloomberg who wanted to attend the convention was denied entry after sexual allegations saw the Feminist wing of the party push Bloomberg out. However Bloomberg has said he will continue to fund Democratic campaign to 'beat Trump'.

After accepting the Democratic nomination, Bernie Sanders had the following to say.

'With belief in the change for the common men and women of this nation, I accept your nomination for the Presidency of the United States of America. The time has come for America to accept a the reality that Socialism is not evil, that Social Democracy works. Scandinavia has shown us that this works. We will not let the number of people living in the street increase, as our taxes go up, and more American's live in poverty. No more Mr. Trump. No more will be breading grounds of violence, we will deal with the cause of crime. Not keep putting poor people into jail. Our children will not into jails any longer. This campaign when it started not in 2019, but in 2015 was about progress. To show the elite that we will become a nation we can be proud of. We will make America a nation of the working class once again. President Trump claims to be the face of the working class, yet the working class continues to suffer under the Trump Presidency while his friends in wall street are enriched by his policies. You can tell how well we are doing, as we can see how nervous everyone is. The Trump campaign is nervous, the Democratic establishment is nervous, wall street is nervous, the health care industry is nervous, the fossil fuel company is nervous, we are their worst nightmare! At first the thought was 'could this really happened'. The answer is yes, it is happening! The time has come for all Americans to stand up as working class people fighting for change. Thank you and together we will be the nightmare of the establishment!

Nancy Pelosi announces retirement from politics in disgraced exit

San Francisco
DEMOCRATS – Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (2007–2011) announced her retirement from politics in a shocking press conference. She said the time had come to step aside, this was after she led an unsuccessful Democratic challenge against Donald Trump in the 2020 midterms. The GOP went onto pick up 256 seats in the House and 59 seats in the senate. The Democrats would fall down to 179 Representatives and 41 Senators. This point blank ended any opportunity the Democrats had to impeach Trump, or place a Democrat on the Supreme Court. Especially after Stephen Breyer was replaced by Indiana Governor Mike Pence, which completely derailed the reformed Democratic Party under Nancy Pelosi. Many in the Democratic establishment have even blamed Pelosi's losing effort against Trump for Bernie Sanders becoming the new face of the Democratic party. This has been hailed by many as a 'dangerous path' that the Democratic party will take in further isolating moderate voters.

Trump hits record 68% approval rating

Fox News

GOP – Donald Trump's average approval rating across the six largest national polls is at a record high of 68%, making Trump more popular than Obama and Nixon at their peak. This is something that the Trump team has been sure to share on social media, and will definitely use in campaigning as they wish to paint the Democrats Bernie Sanders as a communist. Making Trump the sane alternative compared to the destruction Sanders campaign.

President Trump most recently spoke this morning on Fox and Friends where he had to say the following about Bernie Sanders becoming the nominee of the Democratic Party.

"Bernie, crazy Bernie, you know we are hearing from a lot of foreign leaders that they want Bernie to win. They want to keep ripping off the United States. Crazy Bernie man, the Dems had a choice between sleepy Joe and crazy Bernie. He missed his time in 2016, we liked Bernie, but his time is up. He no longer is an outsider, he is an insider playing the outsider, but given what happened he was taken advantage of. Not treated with respect by Clinton at all. We beat Hillary greatly, Bernie could not beat her. And Bernie won't beat us, because we will not surrender America to communist."
    "

Board of Revenues

The Board of Revenues has formally announced that NIO and Ansteel will open a garment factory and a steel mill in Adelaide, The Australis Republic.

In other news, a "Megafactory" project will go ahead near Pécs, as part of a joint venture between the Zhen government and Hungary.

The "Megafactory" Initiative is an organized attempt by the government to rapidly industrialise, provide employment, and increase economic productivity. A consortium of companies would typically be approached to operate within the Megafactory, which functions as a self-contained complex of commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.

A 1.3 km² land lease was recently approved, with construction estimated to cost around $130 billion ZGD.

Megafactory-4 will comprise a 200,000m² 'Commercial' section and a 900,000m² 'Industrial' section. The 'Commercial' section is planned to include 6 office buildings, each which include 180 offices spread out over 20 storeys, various conference rooms, spaces for 40 restaurants and over 80 shops, 2 convention halls, a 'green' urban park, a 13-storey hotel with 190 rooms, 1 movie cinema, 2 shopping malls (each with 120 shops), 1 1,500-car capacity underground car park, and 2 swimming pools. Meanwhile, the 'Industrial' section will include 9 factory complexes, each 100,000m² in size, which can be sold or leased to businesses.

Upon its completion in 2025, it is expected that it will massively contribute to the local economy, and provide job opportunities for around 130,000 workers. Some companies which will occupy the factory complexes include BYD Auto, which will open a battery plant, as well as Changan Automobile with a vehicle R&D centre. Other businesses such as Aigo, 361 degrees, the Feiyue brand, Huawei, Oppo, or Xiaomi have also planned to expand retail operations into the area.

Yet More Corruption in our Government

Prosecutors in the Congo Confederation are seeking a 20-year prison sentence for Vital Kamerhe, President Tshisekedi's Chief of Staff, for his alleged role in the embezzlement of more than $50m of public funds

The prosecution on Thursday also asked the 61-year-old to be disqualified from holding public office for 10 years after completing his sentence, and has requested the seizure of his wife's assets as well as those of other family members.

Kamerhe is the most powerful politician to face corruption charges in the Confederation. He denies any wrongdoing.

The veteran political figure reportedly made a pact to back former president Tshisekedi in a 2018 election in the expectation of succeeding him. His supporters say the case is politically motivated, aimed at blocking his chances of challenging Tshisekedi at the next election in 2023.

Kamerhe, who has been detained since April 8, and two co-defendants are accused of embezzling state funds intended to finance major public works.
A 20-year prison sentence was also sought against one of Kamerhe's co-accused, Lebanese contractor Jammal Samih, 78, who would be deported at the end of his sentence.

The prosecutor's office, which took nearly two hours to present its case, upheld a money laundering charge against both defendants and requested an additional sentence for "aggravated corruption".

However, the office added that the total prison term should not exceed 20 years.
Prosecutors said Kamerhe and his wife, who married in February 2019, had acquired and renovated a mansion in France for more than one million euros ($1.1m).

Kamerhe's Paris-based lawyers said the sentence request was unconstitutional and announced that they had referred the matter to the United Nations’ Working Group on Arbitrary Detention.

"The proceedings mention the embezzlement of public money. But there is no evidence of any illicit financial flows," Jean-Marie Kabengela and Pierre-Olivier Sur wrote in a statement.

The two lawyers also said Kamerhe's safety was in danger in the jail where he was being held, following rumors he was responsible for the sudden death of the trial's presiding judge last month.

Police said Judge Raphael Yanyi died from a heart attack, and the results of an autopsy are still pending.
In hearings last week that ran almost 13 hours, Kamerhe insisted he never entered a private contract with Samih.
He claimed that nothing was done "without the knowledge" of the Tshisekedis and insisted he was not in office when the contract at the center of the allegations was signed in 2018.

A government adviser called by the prosecution during the hearing slammed Kamerhe's comments as an insult to the president.
The date of the verdict is not yet known.

This is just another example of the corruption that fills our government. The only time they rid of corruption is to assure their political careers. Tshisekedi is a corrupt leader that only wants to further her hold on our nation. She claims to be ridding the government of her husband’s corruption but we all know that she is just as corrupt as him.

German Reichstag debates bill that would declare Antifa and other related organizations illegal in Germany following public outcry

Following last night's protests that left thousands of German citizens scared in their homes, the government of Chancellor Alois Bohmer has jumped into action. This morning, Bohmer personally presented a bill that would declare the Antifaschistische Aktion Partei as an illegal organization under the German National Protection Act which bans all Nazi symbolism including the Hitler Salute, praising Nazism, the swastika, and other explicitely Nazi symbols. The Chancellor's proposal would greatly expand the Act to give the Interior Ministry extraordinary powers to investigate and surveil organizations with neo-nazi and communist leanings. In addition, the act would also ban the Antifaschistische Aktion Partei (AAP) along with all affiliate organization. Under the terms of the new amendments, the people involved in the protests would be theoretically subject to prosecution under Section 86a of the German penal code. The new amendments would also expand on Section 86a of the German Penal Code to include an extensive list of Nazi and Communist symbols and organizations that are to be declared unconstitutional and therefore illegal under German law. Among the new symbols to be added to the list include the infamous logo of Antifa, the hammer and sickle among others.

Opposition to the bill has come from several sectors of the right-wing, particularly some members of the CSU within the Grand Coalition who argue that the measures are unnecessary. These groups believe that the new laws would infringe on the right of freedom of expression and could even affect pre-existing parties who espouse socialism as part of their political agenda. The Left party leader Katja Kipping, a who identifies as a socialist labeled the legislation as "risky". During the debate, Kipping argued that if the language in the legislation is not well-defined, parties like The Left could be accidently rendered unable to operate and labeled unconstitutional. SPD leader, Pamela Rendi-Wagner also showed skepticism, particularly in the areas that give the Interior Ministry "extraordinary powers". She accused of Chancellor Alois Bohmer of misleading the public to expand the Interior Ministry's already growing power.

"I supported Chancellor Bohmer in his passage of the Safer Germany Act that expanded the policing powers of the Interior Ministry to combat drug trafficking, investigate Neo-Nazi groups within the Reichswehr, and protect our country from terrorism. However, I cannot support such vague language that could undermine the checks and balances established by the German Government. I support the Chancellor's idea to crack down on far-right and far-left extremism in Germany, but there needs to be more clear language." Rendi-Wagner said during her opening statements. She added that the SPD was ready to support the Grand Coalition with votes if the language on the bill is changed to clarify the new powers.

COSCO

COSCO, the majority shareholder (and de facto owner) of the Port of Piraeus, has announced it would increase its operations under a $1 billion ZGD investment and capital injection plan.

In October 2009, Greece leased docks 2 and 3 from Piraeus Port to COSCO for a 35-year-period. However, COSCO's involvement was accompanied by protest, as unionists complained that the arrival of COSCO led to reductions in salary and social benefits, exclusion of union members and increased pressures on time and performance.

On the other hand, the economic performance of container handling has greatly improved since 2009. Prior to COSCO's takeover, the port's container handling record was at 1.5 million TEUs. After COSCO's takeover, these figures rose to 3.692 million containers in 2017. In 2017 the Athens stock exchange listed company (OLP) for the Port almost doubled its pre-tax profits from 11 to 21.2 million euros.

Under the new capital injection plan, a new 40,000 square-meter berth will be constructed near the Piraeus Central Harbourmaster's Office to increase vessel turnover. The port will also procure at least 4 new self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs) and 2 new gantry cranes to ensure safer and more efficient handling of large cargoes. A 'beautification' programme will also be organized, with several local street artists being contracted to colour and 'beautify' some building facades. The Port will continue to cooperate with the Agricultural University of Athens to enhance the greenery around the port for aesthetic purposes, as well as to remove pollutants from the air, with a goal of constructing 4 more 'green roofs' and some solar panels on several buildings.

Worker wages will also increase from $23,300 to $28,500 annually, with additional bonus payments ranging from $500 to $5,000 for 'exceptional workmanship'. The 180,000-squared meter cargo terminal will also be refurbished with a 10,000 square meter expansion to increase capacity. The Port has also invested $5 million ZGD in the procurement of more personal protective equipment.

Board of Works

In light of a recent crunch in revenues and economic productivity, the Board of Works has been forced to cut down on social and welfare benefits. A new social benefits package has been introduced, which will take into effect in 2021. The new benefits package aims to provide citizens with a comfortable standard of living without sacrificing too much in terms of monetary resources. Individual Provinces may choose to incorporate their own autonomous social welfare plans on top of the basic welfare plan out of their provincial budget, providing the devolved, local semi-autonomous governments with plenty of leeways.

Under the new welfare policy, designated as 'Welfare 2021':

  • All children, aged 3-12 will receive mandatory education through public educational institutions, free of charge.

  • New in-patient payment system: when a patient is declared to be ill for whatever reason and required to stay for in-patient treatment, patients are still entitled to 45% of their normal daily wage for the first 14 days, which is paid by the employer. After that, the state pays the wage at a 30% rate until the patient is declared fit, or until 3 months has subsided.

  • Fees for transport in ambulances or air ambulances are free of charge, with fees to be subsidised by the government.

National Assembly Restored

The National Assembly has been restored, following popular protests and demonstrations.

The lower legislative house, which has been shuttered for a week due to violence amongst the 5,000 MPs, will be brought back to official state functions on 'probation'. MPs are required to surrender all firearms and consent to a full body search if they wish to enter the voting chambers, with an additional 200 police officers brought to secure the facility during parliamentary sessions.

The Serjeant-at-arms and his security team were seen outfitted with armoured vests and assault rifles, as there is a heightened sense of security in the complex. At least 5 metal detectors and X-ray machines were recently installed, aimed at searching the possessions of visitors and workers alike.

The Public Order Act will be voted upon today.

ZOPIS-69

The Zhen Objectives and Programs for International Security Bill 69, otherwise known as ZOPIS-69, was a leaked policy paper drafted by the Board of War, Board of Rites, and Board of Justice, which was presented to the Empress last night. Cited as one of the "most important Zhen policy statements of the 21st century" by media outlets, many have called ZOPIS-69 the "blueprint for the Zhen's militarization".

ZOPIS-69 is part of a decades-long, larger programme for the Zhen military to upgrade and present itself as a world-class fighting force. Some of the policy paper's contents advocated a large expansion in the military budget of the Board of War, the development of more superior equipment, and increased military aid to the Pyongyang Alliance and other Zhen partners.

The report also recommended policies that emphasized military over diplomatic action in the event that the Zhen Dynasty came under threat. The paper had noted the implementation of a 'massive retaliation' policy, which was seen recently in the Zhen military intervention within the Kra nation, as an effective tactic; the Zhen would massively retaliate by using a force disproportionate to the size of the attack in the event of an attack on its assets, installations, or peoples.

Some details were leaked, wherein the paper called for a military capable of:

  • Defending the Eastern Hemisphere and essential Allied areas so that their war-making capabilities can be developed;

  • Providing and protecting a robust mobilization base in peacetime to ensure constant war readiness;

  • The capacity to conduct offensive operations to destroy vital elements of the enemy nation, and to keep the enemy off balance until the full offensive strength of the Zhen can be brought to bear;

  • Defending and maintaining the lines of communication and base areas necessary to the execution of the above tasks; and

  • Providing such aid to allies as is essential to the execution of their role, as delineated in the AOT Defensive Perimeter.

ZOPIS-69 made note of a concept known as the AOT Defensive Perimeter, which asserts that "a bloc of strong allies is needed" (in this case, represented by the Pyongyang Alliance), a variety of "economic partners across the globe" to ensure the continuance of the civilian economy, and "marked lines of defence and offence for military operations". ZOPIS-69 notes that the need for a robust civilian economy is needed to keep the populace wealthy, hopeful, cooperative, and prosperous - all of which can contribute to a favourable social outcome amongst communities. Coupled with 'ambitious attempts at social engineering' and 'conditioning', it is expected to contribute to a militaristic populace.

The AOT Defensive Perimeter is a collection of confidential war plans, which will only be shared with members of the Pyongyang Alliance. As of the moment, areas covered by ZOPIS-69 will consist of purely defensive measures, covering the first-to-second island chains, as well as Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Western Frontier.

ZOPIS-69 will also authorize the National Assembly to donate military equipment to Pyongyang Alliance member states upon advisement or calls of assistance, provides the Board of War the unilateral power to increase its budget 'within reasonable constraints', and also authorizes the National Assembly to provide $5 billion USD donations to the militaries of Pyongyang Alliance member states in times of need.

            Vive la Revolution
            They aren't what they seem
            June 13th

After the unfortunate deaths of Oscar Clarke and Joseph Walker, the protests have quickly turned for the worst. The protests, while illegal, were first for genuine reform. However, it quickly got hijacked by Antifa, GetUp!, and other social revolutionaries. They have quickly turned from "Stop Black Deaths in Custody" to "No Pride in Genocide" and "Abolish Australia."

They have called for, and succeeded, in a number of Australian shows being pulled from anything from racism to portraying the Police in a good light. Even Paw Patrol, a children's show about a bunch of first responded dogs, is facing criticism as it teaches children to look up to Police as good role models. The extreme cancel-culture has been met by anyone standing against the regime being labeled as racist.

The last 24 hours have been the most dangerous, after President Scott Morrison announced that the States may be able to call on the military to be deployed to control the violent crowds. While only Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and South Australian Premier Steven Marshall have taken such oppurtunities, the growing violence across the nation may see a number of other states take up the President's offer.

This morning, the President took to twitter; "You get what you ask for. If you want to sit down and have a civilized discussion like normal people, I am more than happy to do that. I am more than happy to sit down with people and talk about the issues this country faces. I have not heard a single request in the two weeks this has been happening. I have not heard a single person come up to me and said 'Hey Mr President, can we talk about this?' Not a single person.

Instead, people have purposely gone directly against all government orders and common sense. Within 24 hours of the unfortunate deaths of Oscar Clarke and Joseph Walker, people were burning things, vandalizing things, destroying things. People were flipping over cars and attacking police officers. It was like the apocalypse had just started, that y2k had struck or something. It was greatly un-Australian, and it was despicable behaviour. I tried to talk to people, and get them to calm down. I said I was willing to talk, but when I saw that not a single person was mentioning Oscar or Joseph it was clear that the protesters do not care about Aboriginal Lives. With GetUp! and Antifa stirring the pot, it was clear that there was a lot more to this than BLM/ALM. When you attack our institutions, and when you attack Australia, you attack Australians. You are not the people, you are the enemy of the people."

The Australian Institute of Sport's International Basketball Tournament has been officially cancelled after safety concerns for both players and those visiting the games. Australia's international borders have remained closed while Australia attempts to tackle the Coronavirus and the riots. The nation has been placed on high alert, with increased security for statues, monuments, law enforcement/military property, and more.

    QUEENSLAND

After violent protests in Brisbane, Premier Palaszczuk has called on the military to be deployed after a military vehicle was flipped outside Bridgeman Downs in the city's north as the fleet of 5 Bushmaster PMVs were on their way to the Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane's west.

By deploying the military, the 15 000 protesters statewide have set upon looting local businesses and institutions. Townsville's James Cook University was vandalized to read 'James the C*nt.' While initially encouraged by the University, further damage to the institution's property saw around 50 criminals removed from the premises by armoured police.

    SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Last night saw the worst protests in the state so far, after 6 000 took to the streets of Adelaide and set fire to whatever they could find. Protesters robbed stores of goods and restaurants and cafes of tables and chairs to fuel the fire, representative of the fire that burned within. The fire lasted 7 hours, before the miltary was called in around 2:30am. Working along side South Australia Police, 120 people were arrested, and 2 were killed (both suicide). Reports likened the events on the streets as 'like something from The Purge.'

One such incident of terror in South Australia saw the death of 4 firemen in Hope Valley. Jordan Stevenson (22), Richard Wilson (26), Jeremy Lee (19), and Marcus Campbell (30) were on their way to the fires in Adelaide's CBD when they were waved down by a woman in distress. As they pulled over, the women requested that the fire fighters deliver something to the front lines; a parcel for her son who was trapped in the protests. Doing their best to show their compassion, they agreed to take the package, which exploded in the vehicle a few minutes later.

Premier Steven Marshell said that he will send every 'law-breaking blood-thirsty prick' to hell himself in a statement to the public, saying that he will make sure that they get some 'sense slapped into them' at any cost. He has also called on God to 'hurry up and wipe out mankind' again.

    NEW SOUTH WALES

Aboriginals have perhaps ironically sided with police in protests in the indigenous suburb of Redfern, where a Toyota dealership was looted and overturned a police car, setting it alight. 30 protesters throughout Sydney have caused terror and chaos, urging New South Wales Police to place a 6PM curfew two days ago. So far, 500 people have been arrested in New South Wales alone, including 8 in the national capital.

One such protester, Pakistani immigrant Jonas Khan-e-Qalat, graffitied the President's car, decorating it with the Star of David, Swasticas, the number '666,' and the words 'bloody c*nt' and 'cook' over the car in red. When the perpetrator was questioned after his arrest this morning, he told cameras that the president was 'the embodiment of all things evil.'

    VICTORIA

Premier Daniel Andrews has called on the protesters to 'take a breather' after the statue of James Cook was under police guard overnight. Although tamer than some other states, protests have still been quite vivid. In Australia's most socialist state, Daniel Andrews has taken an unprecedented move and told protesters to 'get out' if they weren't protesting for the right reasons, or they will be 'forced out.'

In Ballarat, the birthplace of the rebellion, 15 protesters tried to set alight to the Australian flag outside the Eureka Museum, dedicated to the Eureka Rebellion (1854) and Revolution (1895-1901). Police were able to get to the protesters early, and found the protesters unable to ignite the flag in the city's 5 degree mornings.

    KINGSLAND

At the epicenter of the fortnight's protests, Kingsland would not be as effected as one would think. A gathering of 5 000 protesters saw a mostly peaceful march almost every day since the murder. The two officers responsible for the murder, Jack Lewis and Cooper Williams, have not been stood down, and are yet to face court. Both claim they are not guilty of their murder, as they did not purposely kill the men. Their court case in the Supreme Court of Kingsland is yet to be heard, mostly due to a number of serious Aboriginal crimes.

    WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Premier Mark McGowen has called on protesters to 'shut up' and 'pull [their] f*cking heads in.' Frustrated with the riots in Kalgoorlie and Fremantle that resulted in heavy police car damage, McGowen has called the protesters 'stupid f*cks with half a brain' and 'completely out of touch with society.' A member of the Democratic Socialist Party, McGowen has called out the protesters (many of which vote for or support the DSP) for being neither democratic nor socialist. Instead, he has called them 'brain-dead communists,' saying he reads ACAB as 'All Communists Are B*stards' and couldn't agree more.

When asked if he will call in the military to settle the dispute, McGowen claimed that he would 'with pride,' if only the rest of Parliament agrees in an emergency sitting tomorrow.

    TASMANIA

Tourism Tasmania posted 'Tasmania: Protest Free' on their twitter today, perhaps convincingly forgetting that the last Aboriginal in Tasmania was killed back in 1876. Oh well, Tasmanians will be Tasmanians.

Northern territories to receive "development package"

    | Ottawa - Canada's northern territory is notorious for it's harsh winter, abundance of natural resources and lack of development and care from the Canadian government. Since it's incorporation into Canadian hands, the regions in the far north has always been underdeveloped, although Yukon received more attention following a gold rush that happened during the 1890s. The same didn't go for Nunavut and the Northwestern Territories. Both were left out, resulting in both areas to be culturally and geographically isolated. During the coronavirus pandemic, Nunavut never reported any cases, and it's mainly due to the fact that the territory didn't have any testing kits. The Northwestern Territories did report several cases, and so did Yukon. Concerns grew after following the end of pandemic not long ago, as many feared that the virus might still exists within Nunavut's territory. Not to mention, healthcare within Nunavut and the Northwestern Territories is almost non-existent. Several projects was later announced for these territories, focusing on healthcare and connectivity. As of this article is written, a hospital is already under construction in Iqaluit. While a new and more modern hospital is also being constructed in Yellowknife. For connectivity, the Canadian Airport Authority has agreed to construct three brand new airports in Yukon, Northwestern Territories and a Nunavut, all of which has the capacity to fit 737s and 757s. Several educational facilities are also being planned, such as the "Arctic University" in Yellowknife. Residents of these territories had thanked the Canadian government for their attention.

Ministry of Transport Renews Plans to Build the 'Icy Strait' Bridge

| NOVO-ARKHANGELSK, STOLITSA OBLAST - The Rusalyaskan Ministry of Transport has renewed their plans to construct a bridge to connect Novo-Arkhangelsk with Zaliv Lednika, in an attempt to shorten the trip into the capital city from the rest of the Oblasts of the Empire. This would also have other benefits, like envigorating the economies of some of the rural Raions of the Oblast.

Similar plans were drawn up around 13 years ago, when the Ministry of Transport originally thought of working on such a project. One of these plans, which is now being put on the drawing board again, was almost even executed - the Ministry of Transport had already built a road to where the bridge was to start from, when it was discovered that the calculations in the plan were erroneus. Further calculations showed that such a bridge would be far too expensive with modern construction methods and materials, and the plan was dropped.

With advances in these building methods and materials, the Ministry of Transport has sweeped the dust off the covers of these old plans, and requested new research, surveys and calculations to see if a new bridge could be constructed at a reasonable cost.

Currently, there are three more or less different projects that are being deliberated by the Ministry of Transport:

The first of the three is currently nicknamed as the "Zaliv Lednika Bridge", and would begin from the Elfin Cove, through the Yudenichskaya Isles, and end at the shore of Zaliv Lednika. Upon completion, the bridge would be around 18 kilometers long and shorten a trip into Novo-Arkhangelsk by over six hours. This plan is almost exactly the same as what was considered around 13 years ago.

The second of the plans is called the "Novo Solovetsky Bridge", named after the island it would pass through going over the Icy Strait. When finished, the bridge would be around 16 kilometers long from start to finish. Similar to the first plan, it would shorten a trip into the capital city by around six hours.

Lastly, comes what people have called the most ambitious of the plans, called the "Sheremetevskaya Bridges". It would begin from the northern tip of Novo-Arkhangelsk Island, go through Priyatnyy Isle, and end in the city of Sheremetevskaya. This first bridge would be almost 19 kilometers long, but that isn't where the plan ends. There would be a second bridge, connecting Sheremetevskaya with Zaliv Lednika across the Icy Strait that would be 12 kilometers long. All in all, this last plan would call for the construction of 31 kilometers of bridge, and it would shorten a trip into Novo-Arkhangelsk by around 5 hours.

The Ministry will announce the most winner of the plans soon, and it hopes to begin a bidding contest between a number of both foreign and domestic construction companies for the rights to construct the project. |

Shocking news as Afsharid Persia recognizes YPG government in Basurwelat

Following the turbulence in the Middle Eastern country, the YPG has taken full control of Kurdistan and a new Constitution has been drafted. Until now, there had been silence from the Persian government, who is often recognized as the "father" of the Kurdish nation, having freed the nation from Iraqi rule during the reign of Saddam Hussein. However, after weeks of silence, the Persian government has finally issued its view on the issue, and has recognized the new government.

Over the years, the two countries have had very close ties until recent years, with the Basurwelat moving closer to Western powers such as Greater britanniya. Meanwhile, the YPG and Persia had not had particularly close relations, and were generally cold until the rise of ISIS forced the two to cooperate with each other. Nonetheless, Persian recognition of the YPG government came as a surprise to most.

"We have heard the calls for change in Kurdistan, and would be nothing but happy to help our Iranic brethren on their path to change and reform. The YPG are no doubt heroes to the Kurdish people, and without them, we would not have been able to defeat the so-called Islamic State. It is clear that the government of Biryar Niyat was no longer wanted by the Kurdish people, and the will of the Kurdish state is the will of the Iranian nation as well! We would like to congratulate Asan Hardi on his new position as Premier of Basurwelat, and we hope this era will lead to a breath of fresh air for Persian-Kurdish relations that will be forever stronger in the years to come." said H.I.M. Ardeshir Shah Afshar in an official government statement.

The recognition of the YPG government has also been predicted to put strains on Afsharid Persia's ties with the neighboring The Turkish-State, who had previously been at odds with YPG in northern Sahuria. Persian officials also mentioned that they will continue to closely monitor the changes taking place in Kurdistan.

Prime Minister Shinzō Abe to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin

Prime Minister Shinzō Abe posted on social media,

"I will be meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the status of the Kuril Islands & Russo-Japanese relations moving forward. Looking forward to such a historical meeting!"

The news was received warmly in Japan. The Russians & Japanese have been at odds ever since the conclusion of the Humiliation War. There were ideas circulated for a conference over the Kuril islands. However, this was never formally done & thus the Japanese have not looked at the Russians with a warm eye. But this would be changed a few weeks ago. The Prime Minister's announcement shifted a major beak in Japan's foreign relations. The meeting between Prime Minister Abe, on behalf of His Divine Majesty the Emperor, & Russian President Putin over the Kuril Islands & Russo-Japanese relations could mark a rapid shift in the political arena for Japan.

This would heavily change Japan's geopolitical strategy. The Russians have acted as the Red Menace against which Japan must always be vigilant. But depending on the outcome of this meeting, Russo-Japanese relations may improve moving forward & signal another political success for Prime Minister Abe on his foreign policy agenda.

Entertainment Update: Anime Convention being prepared in 'Electric Town' Akihabara City

Recently, a Committee was formed to oversee the preparation & function of an upcoming Anime Convention within Akihabara City. The President of the Committee posted the following on social media,

"We are proud to announce that Akihabara will be the center of an upcoming Anime Convention. Recently, we have gained permission from the Tokyo Prefecture Governor, Yuriko Koike, to begin preparing the Convention despite current restrictions still being in place. She has confirmed that she may make an appearance herself as a fellow Cosplayer! Nonetheless, we hope this will present a great opportunity the world over for Japan to once more highlight it's great culture! We definitely look forward to putting Japan's Otaku Culture within Akihabara on full display!"

The social media post gained traction amongst the Anime Community within Japan. Despite COVID-19 restrictions still being in place, many have expressed optimism about the event. After the economic impact COVID-19 had on Japan, this convention will definitely be generating some welcomed economic activity as Japan begins to open up & develop itself in the aftermath of the virus.

Japanese Government to sever ties with Bharat

Recently, the Economic Minister of Japan posted on social media,

"The Japanese Government will be moving to lessen economic ties with the Bharat regime in India. We will be summarily raising tariffs to 400% on any & all goods to & from India. We will be redirecting our economic efforts to Bangladesh & The Pacific Alliance. We believe these markets may prove more fertile & better oriented for the Japanese Market than an impoverished, dirty country like India. After all, why pour our energy into a country that is no more than a minor power in Asia? HA!"

The Economic Minister responded to queries for an elaboration on why precisely the Japanese Government wished to wage an economic war with the Bharat Regime in India. He stated,

"Most likely think of India as a strategic & valuable partner to pursue. But we do not see it this way. The Indians market themselves as peaceful yet they wish to show the world they are a rising superpower? Would these words not send concern to smaller neighbors like Pakistan or Bangladesh? As you can see, the Indians are nothing more than a ticking bomb waiting to explode. That is why Japan will start pre-emptively. We will sever our ties with them & concentrate their portion of our markets in other countries which we may be lacking in"

The move caught criticism from the Economic World of Japan. Many Economics postulated that severing links with a potential market partner like Bharat would only serve to hurt Japan in the long run. However, others did note that the Bharat Regime would need to review it's own moves. After all, Japan was a significant power within Asia aside from the Zhen, Russians, & Americans. In addition, Japan's economy stands as one of the premier economies in the world. So it would be prudent to say that any moves after this would need to be given great consideration.

Japan to assist the Congo: Generous Aid or a Calculated Bid for the U.N. Seat?

Prime Minister Shinzō Abe released the following statement on social media,

"I have been in talks with Congolese President Tshisekedi recently on behalf of His Divine Majesty the Emperor. Japan will be sending a foreign aid development package of $80 million USD to the Congolese Government amidst struggles the Government faces. Unlike other countries, Japan has the interest of others at heart. We will continue to illustrate our friendly nature & good will to the world! After all, Japan is a good friend to have! To Congolese-Japanese friendship!"

The move follows the recent aid package sent to Central America. Many geopolitical strategists within Japan seemed to agree that this move benefitted Japan on an international stage. Illustrating once again it's kind & generous nature. This comes on the heels of the arduous campaign the Japanese have been holding to secure a permanent seat on the Security Council of the United Nations for several years now. Many believe this is simply another calculated move for Japan to argue for it's tenure on the Security Council as a permanent member rather than a non-permanent member

The Pacific Alliance is viewed as a great alternative to complete dependence on America & the United Nations. His Divine Majesty the Emperor released on social media,

"I am proud to see Japan becoming more involved in a great alliance like The Pacific Alliance. Through this Alliance, we will continue to uphold stability in Asia & act as a guarantor for peace"

The statement was widely praised & agreed with. Several of Japan's citizens viewing it the same way. Already the various candidates elected have begun releasing statements on social media indicating that Japan will be propelling the Alliance forward unto new heights.

AOT (Asian Operational Theatre) DEFENSE STRATEGY

The AOT Defensive Perimeter is the Zhen's primary geographical defense strategy, which also covers its Pyongyang Alliance allies. The doctrine asserts three things:

    1. A bloc of strong allies is needed at all times.
    2. Economic partners across the globe are of vital importance to ensure the continuance of civilian economic growth and prosperity.
    3. Marked lines of defense and offense for military operations are required.

In regards to Point 3, there are 3 lines in existence:

    Board of Justice

An Australian has been sentenced to death in the Zhen for drug trafficking, after he was arrested at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in December 2013 with more than 7.5kg of methamphetamine in his checked luggage. The man, who was identified as Cam Gillespie, was handed the death penalty by the Board of Justice last night.

The notice revealed no details about the defendant besides his Australian nationality.

"We will not tolerate any illegal smuggling of narcotics in our nation", the court said.

Zhen courts function differently than Western ones, based on the fact that a different legal system is used. Dubbed as an 'inquisitorial' system, all verdicts are handed down by the magistracy directly, after law enforcement departments provide evidence of wrongdoing. If there is no evidence, the defendants would typically be released, but evidence would result in a conviction under this evidence-based system.

The Zhen has been known to execute people indiscriminately for smuggling narcotics.

    Ice Act Tabled

The Ice Act has recently been tabled to the Imperial Cabinet, which may be the first time the Zhen has intervened on financial grounds against a sovereign nation.

The Ice Act is a Zhen Imperial legislation that sanctions the Australian country for drug-related crimes. This comes after a spate of Australian attempts at smuggling narcotics via the Zhen, with the case studies of Cam Gillespie, Peter Gardner, Kalynda Davis, Ibrahim Jalloh, Bengali Sherrif, Anthony Bannister, and John Warwick. In the case of John Warwick and Ibrahim Jalloh, it was found that an Australian criminal syndicate was responsible for duping the elderly and vulnerable to commit such acts. "The Australian government's constant requests for leniency and clemency are signs of complicity. Being an Australian criminal syndicate, they should be held responsible to equal measure. But while the Zhen takes resolute steps to cull this disease, the Australians sit there, scream of [perceived] injustice, and do nothing."

This bill is named after the drug ‘Ice’, also known as methamphetamines. These were commonly smuggled by the aforementioned Australians into the Zhen. Australians typically attempt to smuggle narcotics out of the Zhen and back to The Australis Republic - which is seen as "fuelling an international drug problem".

"They use our country as the middleman. Quite disappointing, really," a police officer remarked.

Individuals and businesses who pose a threat to international anti-narcotics measures and security were targeted in the bill. The entities involved include AIVL, the Northern Territory Illicit Drug Pre-Court Diversion Program, various decriminalisation advocacy groups, law enforcement departments, and politicians supporting said groups. Known organized crime groups, such as Triad chapters in Australia, will also be sanctioned. It imposes sanctions on entities conducting business with aforementioned entities, or their family; it places a bounty on the heads of Australian intelligence assets in the Zhen.

It aims to encourage positive steps by allowing the Empress to waive sanctions if there is a meaningful improvement. As per an imperial decree, "the Australians are being punished for not doing enough. If they choose to crack down more resolutely on such crime syndicates, we can absolutely waive sanctions".

The Ice Act also has provisions to extend similar treatment to countries which have illegal drug operations in the Zhen.

Domestically, the Act empowers the police to "raid, destroy, and kill" people who distribute or manufacture illegal narcotics, and also allows the Board of Justice to compel drug users into government-mandated drug rehabilitation. Under the Ice Act, only government-approved entities and companies are permitted to manufacture narcotics, with stringent auditing of chemical processing facilities to be included as well. Failure to provide licenses is grounds for 'termination', although the Act itself does not legally define what it entails. Seized narcotics are also required to be burnt upon discovery, and checks for narcotics is expected to become more stringent.

Over 6,000 drug-sniffing hounds will be trained and employed at public transit services, including in subway systems, train stations, ports, and in airports. In addition, police are also allowed to compel citizens to perform on-the-spot drug tests, should their behaviour be "erratic".

The bill has not been passed into law yet.
