Greetings.

As you may or may not know, Sony has pulled Spider-Man out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This move by Sony has outraged many MCU fans, including myself, who loved all the character development Marvel Studios has done to the character over the past three years. Teenage romance, Tony Stark, Mysterio... I loved it all. And now Sony has thrown all that away just because they want more money.

This is a call to all Spider-Man and MCU fans in NationStates. If this goes through, this could screw up the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline. And, this could screw up other characters. X-Men, Fantastic Four... this whole Spider-Man thing could leave a chain reaction in which the MCU loses several great and interesting characters.

But most importantly... we would be losing arguably one of the best characters in the MCU, and who I honestly thought would become a very important and powerful character in the MCU.

I thought it was because Disney demanded more money, Sony said no, and rather than negotiate, they walked.

Against Krasnova?

For and against a number of states, in alignment with Lyran foreign policy interests. The conflict in Krasnova, and between UWO and its multiplicity of enemies more broadly, is of considerable concern to the Protectorate, and opinion within Executive Command is far from unanimous.

Be interesting to see the Lyran response to the coup in Morrdh.

I should probably begin developing Kassaran again... Even though the involvement of Kassaran would be limited to the seas affected by the war...

Had RL been more sympathetic, I'd have run a post (with your permission) on the Lyran embassy fighting to protect the Queen, and spiriting her away before being overrun... But alas...

My navy is evacuating embassies if yours wishes to leave.

Alternatively, my Embassy may or may not be stockpiling weapons for guerrilla warfare, if you know any soldiers willing to disappear off grid for 'overseas training activities'

Who were the Slavers again that a certain group of islands were upset with me trading with?

Mcnernia is getting involved due to the threat from Kraven.

God I know the feeling.

I really, really want to get involved in Krasnova but I simply cannot find the time. Even Morrdh's coup RP ties me up a lot.

Kassaran

So who would have first made trade routes pushing through Kassaran? I'm writing out the history of the navy for my nation right now, and it involves it being reduced to little more than a token force when one of the regional superpowers around c. 1200 A.D. came through and forced the many privateers and rogue fleets to stand down and stop harassing merchant trade.

Timocratic Republic? Kassaran lands is pretty far out in the map. Or Holy Marsh considering their proximity to you.
