Ark: “Alright.”
He stepped outside and went back to the workshop, sitting down and absently tinkering away for hours on end.
Raya weakly smirks at Aise.
Raya: “Thank you Aise... but I seriously just need a moment on my own.”
Aise sighs.
Aise: "Alright, please just don't beat yourself up, okay?"
Morning came around. Roger is seen making coffee with a tired expression.
Roger: “Hey...”
Raya: “I won’t...”
She seems sincere. She walks away and waved goodbye once and left.
Aise goes to finish his lunch. He eats slowly and alone outside under a secluded tree. He pulls out the necklace from his pocket. His forced smile breaks some.
Aise: "Why?"
His smile fully breaks as he holds back tears in a failing manner.
The real Raya is saddened by the scene.
Aise finishes his lunch. The day goes by quickly as he zones out. He makes it to gym. Free day.
Raya was sprinting away her thoughts in the gym. She was running laps.
Aise catches up to her quickly. Both Rayas can tell how fast he is from how thin he is.
Aise: "Feelin' any better?"
He's forcing a positive expression. Raya can tell something's up.
Raya: “No. I’m just now realizing, that if I asked him out any sooner... I would be holding his hand by now...”
She seems annoyed at herself.
Ark: “Morning.”
He greeted Roger, not turning around as he sniffed the coffee in the air.
Aise: "Well, sure, but what if Corem 'n' Devosa both prefer it this way? Also, you're kinda degradin' yourself with that kinda talk."
A rumbling is heard outside. The place shakes. Roger was shaken awake. Suddenly the shaking stops. A slamming of a door is heard outside. Corem happily opens the door of the house and walks in.
Corem: “You hear that thing?! That car is amazing!”
Raya: “Then...”
She sighed.
Raya: “Having feelings is stupid... If I could, I would remove the romantic love completely off me.”
This was something the real Raya agrees on.
Ark: “Yeah...”
He lightly chuckled and swivelled around with a nod.
Ark: “Purrs like a wild beast.”
Aise: "Aw, come on, don't talk like that. I'm sure there's someone out there for ya'..."
He's really forcing positivity, but not out if aggression's sake.
Raya: “Doubt it... I should have listened to roger... ‘Love is just a chemical reaction your brain sends to repopulate...’.”
She chuckled as she realized it was true.
Corem: “I pinch myself just so seeing it. It’s a dream come true! I don’t know how Devosa did it...”
Aise: "Pfft! No way! If love's just chemicals, why would lovin' elderly couples exist?"
Ark: “There are some things that just can’t be explained, isn’t that right Roger?”
He asked with a lively laugh.
Raya: “Who knows? Maybe because they’ve learned to live with each other? Either way... Settling down isn’t something I wish or... see myself doing honestly. Being a mother isn’t something I personally want... or marriage. I just want to go to Pamriel and live freely.”
Seems like this Raya was more honest with what she wants to do. It was honestly what the real Raya has in mind too.
Roger chuckled.
Roger: “Right...”
Corem: “She’s amazing... I was serious about yesterday...”
Aise: "But people don't just live with each other. They care for each other. They both live in eternity with the other. That's more than some simple chemical stuff."
Raya: “That just sounds like a friend with extra steps. I’m good with a friend. I’ve been on my own this far... You’re right. I shouldn’t let Corem and Devosa put me down. I should be glad it isn’t me who’s got to be devoted or invested for affection.”
This Raya seems more... stubborn. She keeps sprinting and her mood seems to go up.
