Question of the Day: Are you a pessimist or an optimist? (Don't say you're a realist. Answer the question.)

I'd say that I'm an optimist to others, but a pessimist to myself. Also, what is a realist?

I don't usually view the world in negatives so I'd say I'm leaning towards optimist.

It's a cheap ticket to circumvent the question basically. A realist is neither a pessimist nor an optimist. One with a "realistic" outlook.

I'll have to say that I'm pessimistic at heart. There is never a time when I'm not deluded, disappointed, or disgusted by someone or something.

Thanks but I was encouraged to go due to my recent, very abrupt & less then happy leave from the CK, so I'll be going.

Question of the Day: Would you rather go without junk food for a year or go without TV for a year?

I have been going without television for a long time now.
I can really just go without TV till I get bored of everything else. So definitely not junk food.

Guardian of Gaia wrote:Question of the Day: Would you rather go without junk food for a year or go without TV for a year?

Depends on the definition of both. Assuming junk food means stuff like chips, cheetos, oreos, and such, and TV means broadcasted signals, cable/satellite, etc.?
....Either can honestly go, but I guess I'd drop junk food. Kinda done that already. But also kinda already dropped TV under that definition, too. So. It'd be a normal year for me I guess.

Guardian of Gaia wrote:Question of the Day: Would you rather go without junk food for a year or go without TV for a year?

Michael: TV. I love my junk food.

Guardian of Gaia wrote:Question of the Day: If you could acquire any skill, what would you choose?

Blueturtle: Invention.
Michael: Same, but advisement

Guardian of Gaia wrote:Question of the Day: What is your favorite drink?

Blueturtle: Pure water.
Michael: Root Beer
Jon: Blue Moon
Lief: *shrugs* Okay.

Guardian of Gaia wrote:Question of the Day: Would you rather go without junk food for a year or go without TV for a year?

TV for sure. I mainly just tune out my tv, but I need my junk food.

Guardian of Gaia wrote:Question of the Day: Would you rather go without junk food for a year or go without TV for a year?

Junk food. I need to be healthier anyway. Plus I'm defining TV for myself as anything I watch shows on, and I use Netflix and Hulu a lot.

Question of the Day: Do you follow your heart or your head?

Guardian of Gaia wrote:Question of the Day: Would you rather go without junk food for a year or go without TV for a year?

I already rarely watch TV, so I'll go with that.

Guardian of Gaia wrote:Question of the Day: Do you follow your heart or your head?

Yes. Uhh.... usually my head, strangely enough, since I'm a very emotional person.
Edit: If I had been asked this like three years ago, I would have said my heart. That did not go well for me.

Guardian of Gaia wrote:Question of the Day: Do you follow your heart or your head?

I try to go with my head, but more often than not i think and make decisions based on my heart :3

Guardian of Gaia wrote:Question of the Day: Do you follow your heart or your head?

I tend to follow my heart in the middle of the night, (going on expeditions, eating a ton of junk food, ect) but my head when others are around.

Guardian of Gaia wrote:Question of the Day: Do you follow your heart or your head?

Sometimes I follow my heart, sometimes my head, and sometimes my gut. It all depends on the subject.

Guardian of Gaia wrote:Question of the Day: Do you follow your heart or your head?

Go with your heart until you get smacked in the face with a "reality check". After that go with your head until it's time for dinner and then go with your stomach.
