I'm gonna have to go with this too.

You find yourself suddenly coming to a stop, the blindfold removed. Before you stands the majestic forest of Gaia, and you are greeted with the small, well kept stone paths and passerbys.

There are 3 Royal Family's I wondering what family will assist me settling in.

I am totally lost on this stone path with 3 pathways all to the 3 royal family's. Im in the forest of Gaia, wondering were I stay , purchase a property. it would only be a small home as I am single.

over the next few day I will be guided down a path to my future. Please telegram me with any ideas on Forest of Gaia.

I have moved to the region because you have all 3 things I love. Discord, Politics , Parliament, and role playing through Maps.

I have already joined Discord. I will be joining MAPS.

I have previously been a Foreign Affair's Minister

I am a World Assembly Member. So please endorse me I got to restart with 0.

It is a way of showing the new member a welcome and for them to feel at home.

I will talk more over the coming days again I'm very excited to be in this region.

Re: QOTD

Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.

Welcome to the region! Have some Gaian chocolate bark!
*holds out a platter of sweets*
If you have any questions to start off with, feel free to let everyone know!
As for the narration you gave on the royal houses, they're a part of the character RP and will have no impact on the nation RP (which has the map with nations and all)

Van Demons Land Tasmania wrote:shortened for space

Well each of the Houses are far from the entrance, so none of them are going to be there to welcome you, but you can learn more information from our dispatches that are pinned

If you just want a home to start out with, I would recommend the Central Plaza, not far South of where you begin on the island

I'm glad to hear that we have a lot of what you like here! Hopefully you're satisfied with it all.

Rangers of the Grey wrote:As for the narration you gave on the royal houses, they're a part of the character RP and will have no impact on the nation RP (which has the map with nations and all)

Well, we do have maps for both. But yes, the Houses are separate from the Nation RP

I'm looking forward to roll play. now I just have to wait?
For a MAP to be allocated to me.

* 1 Completed Nation Map Claims.
* 2 Completed PPRC2 Directory.

I would like to say thank you to Rangers of the Grey for guiding me through maps, He is one of the good ones thanks.

Thank you to the 8 teams that have endorsed me. A great effort but im looking for 25!

Please do not double post on our RMB.

Arudis wrote:Please do not double post on our RMB.

Double Post

Can either be:

1) When someone posts the exact same thing twice in a row.

2) When someone posts something then, rather than using the "edit" button, posts an elaboration or similar right after the 1st.

I'm sorry I did not double post they were seperate issues clearly please under stand what double posting is before giving incorrect warnings!!!!!

Van Demons Land Tasmania wrote:~snip~

Incorrect. Double-posting is posting TWICE on the RMB without someone else commenting after your first post. Secondly, please refrain from correcting a Sovereign as well. Double-posting prevents spam on the RMB.

Furthermore, the Commandants of Gaia state thee.

"Thou shalt not double post, less the last post was more than two hours before, but shalt not make a third post,"

That is our meaning which I was not aware of. If you google it doesn't come up with your meaning.

But thank you for making me aware and I apology to a higher caste but they must be correct.

I hope you understand I do not wish any harm and will abide by our rules.

I had also told you this yesterday in a TG; "Also a note for the message board, don't post twice in a row (if you're the last person to have posted)."

This is the end of the matter I will not speak about the same issue. End of conversation.

Van Demons Land Tasmania, just a bit of history about double posting in NationStates.

Back, until a few years ago, RMB's, as well as telegrams held only 10 messages. Any subsequent RMB messages or TG's would delete the last message from the RMB and cause earlier posts to be lost forever. Hence it was ordained that multiposting was considered rude and inconsiderate. This act of courtesy persists even today with the expanded TG storage and never ending RMB's.

Oh I learned something new, thanks for the NS history lesson.

"Please enjoy your stay." In my head it was like "You will enjoy your stay. This is not a request."
Be of course Aru is nicer than that.

Am I though? :p

After 17 years in the game, I've seen a lot of changes in the game over the years. For one thing, it's a much younger crowd that when I started. Mostly Collage and Uni players back then.

Well you have your moments... Not many, but some

Nakethic

My flag has yellow with black . My flag has a yellow rings one ring is inside the other ring
. Do you like my flag

Nice, but I would have continued the rings in black on the yellow area of your flag. Just my take on it.

I know this is really late, but even though obviously it doesn't delete any more (thank god) it does still push it off of the region page and let's be honest, people want to see as much as they can on the main page

Collage players would be the colourful sticky players that attach themselves to cardboard in thematic collections, yes?

Arudis wrote:I apologize for the commotion this past half a day. Some people just don't know when to stop, I suppose.

Well, aside from that, how is everyone doing? And welcome to the region all of those who are new, feel free to ask us any questions you have about the game or region!

Edit: in response to the poll, I have been creating a lot of stuff centered around my RP nation Lohaar. Can't wait until I've got it all set up and can put it into dispatches

Hey everyone. I'm new to the region (and the game) Doing fairly well. Been looking for a game like this for a while now. Noticing how the issues that come up for my nation really make me think about the consequences for what I choose.

Also, slowly getting into the RP.
