Im currently in the process of consolidating a basic outline of the world wars in geopolity canon.

Could everyone send me a rough outline of their involvement in these wars?

DANUBIAN CIVIL WAR - UPDATE (modified from the previous post)

BREAKING - BATTLE OF BUDAPEST

Following the failure of surrender negotiations, the Republican leadership attempted to launch a spearhead to break out of the encirclement of the city and reorganize around the republican controlled city of Agram. the 52k Communist forces poured into the city while the 12,000k republican defenders who had volunteered to hold off the advance fought ferociously against the communist attackers. Many reports were made about republicans using a variety of guerilla tactics and ambush tactics. Trucks loaded with explosives were rammed into enemy lines while others launched suicidal charges against communist holdings in their attempts to take as many communist invaders as they could, knowing that the city's defence was doomed.

Meanwhile, at the western breakout along the route E17, the large republican force was soon to be met from all sides by advancing soviet forces, who were launching attempts to flank and cut off their attack. The Republicans were soon forced to hide around the city of Weißbrunn (Veszprém) with a large portion of the republican army now staying behind as the much smaller force lead by General Anton Bötticher continued its escape. The force of 20k at Weißbrunn fought valiantly but was soon forced to surrender to the incoming soviet forces.

The day many had feared since the end of the second world war had come, Budapest and much of the surrounding area were now under the hands of communist occupation. Emilie Stauffer was soon flown into the city where she, her cabinet and much of the occupying officer corps were reported to have held a "Hardbass Rave" in the former Bundesrat throughout the night. 27,645 Republican Soldiers lost their lives in the battle while 10,355 surrendered and were captured. This was compared to 26,210 communists losing their lives. This now remains the bloodiest battle of the civil war and although Budapest is now in communist hands, the cost was great to both the lives of those involved and much of the city, which is now largely in ruins.

Meanwhile, the Republican leadership is in chaos as Richárd Mészáros is currently missing following the attempt to break out of Budapest. It is believed that he dissapeared during the battle of Weißbrunn with the republicans now launching extensive search parties to locate their missing President-Marshall. General Anton Bötticher, considered by many to be Mészáros second, has taken over leadership until Mészáros can be found. The Republic is now in a dire state, but with potential ISA troops attempting to land at Ragusa in the near future many are hopeful that the republicans can re-take Budapest sometime in the future

Lord Rosenthal Retains Regency by Narrow Margin

Lord Erwin Rosenthal has successfully retained his leadership following a crucial vote at an imperial conference in Prague. The Regent beat out his rival, Walther Ritschel with a vote of 56% to 44% with both Ritschel and many of his supporters conceding the race and once again placing their support behind the Old Guard Regent.

Lord Rosenthal met the conference with a resounding speech, saying disunity in the Imperial Faction had put them all at risk with the communists now being extremely dominant in the eastern half of the nation. He promised that the Imperials would strike back and reclaim their title as the legitimate government, once again bringing order, strength and tradition back to the forefront of Danubian politics.

Imperials Launch Counterattack on Vienna

Following the re-election of Lord Rosenthal as regent, the Imperials have struck back in revenge for their first loss of the war, now besieging Vienna in a similar manner to that of the nationalist siege of the city not long ago. Messerschmidt and the rest of the nationalist leadership have fled to Preßburg while the remaining nationalist garrison continue their attempts to hold out in the city. The Imperials are currently holding off any large-scale attacks however, hoping to force a surrender and leave the city intact.

Danubian Theater

The assault against the objectives of Fünfkirchen (Pécs) and Esseg (Osijek) has begun. Assisted by the Left Revolutionary Army, the 1st Army Corps of the Furstian People's Army has entered the suburban areas of the cities.

Combat operations are expected to be swift, as the Republican armies are greatly demoralized following the capture of Budapest, Danubia (Donau-bundesreich) by the Communist forces.

The vessels of the Furstian People's Navy sent back to the continent have arrived in Puerto Deseado. After resupply operations are finished, the following troops and equipment shall be embarked for their posterior transportation to the Danubian theater:

- One brigade. 5,000 soldiers.
- 40 Su-30MKI

ETA: 9 days (1+ day)

Emilie Stauffer - Announcement

My people, my comrades, my friends. Today marks a great and monumental victory for all Danubia.

42 years ago i had a dream of a better Danubia. I grew up in a Danubia that did not know freedom, she did not know equality, all she expected was undying loyalty to the Kaiser and their authority. It was my dream to change this, it was my dream to bring us into the modern age and create a new nation where all could live in a free society, in true peace equity and solidarity.

I was one of the first to rise up in the First Budapest Revolution all those years ago. But due to infighting and betrayal we were crushed soon after by the tide of reactionaries and bootlickers. Those we had trusted stabbed us in the back, they had become complacent and took the guarantees and comprises the imperials had promised just to save their own skins at the cost of everyone else. Soon the bundesrat was established and the imperials thought that they had silenced us.

When Mészáros rose up in Budapest we saw our chance and rose up alongside him, this time faring much better and having finally established what seemed to be a real functioning democracy. However, when it became clear that socialism was the future of this new state, the reactionaries and moderates within turned against us and expelled us from the party. When we rose up in Klausenburg they laughed at us, they called us mere rebels when we took transylvania and insurrectionaries when we marched against them. Now.. now they fear us.

I am proud of how far we have come and what we have accomplished. With the help of our allies in Novaya rossiyskaya imperiya and Furstia we have finally reclaimed what is ours. We have shown the weak frail Mészáros regime for what it is, a farce. a false state whose only claim to legitimacy is false promises of freedom and strength. Now we have taken control, we have proven ourselves the TRUE republic and the true legitimate government of Danubia.

However, there are many who still oppose us. The false republic still stands, backed up by the ISA who had long had an alliance with our government. With this betrayal, it is obvious that our nation has NO PLACE in the ISA any longer and i am announcing an immediate withdrawal of Danubia from this organization. I implore the ISA to withdraw their illegitimate invasion of our nation and all who oppose the rightful leadership of Danubia to stand down for the sake of peace, let us end this bloodshed as soon as possible and allow us all to create a state of real equality, real liberty and real unity between all peoples.

Against all odds we have persevered. We are no longer just the left revolutionary army, we are a NATION, one that will stand up for its rights and refuse to bow down to the bullies of the old order. We now march forward, against the traitors who threaten us in our goals.

LONG LIVE THE SOCIALIST CONFEDERATION OF THE DANUBE, LONG LIVE THE PEOPLE!

The Soldiers Present cheer and shout for Genossin Stauffer as the new banner of the communists, the new state flag of the Danubian Socialist Confederation, flows down from the damaged structures of the old Bundesrat building. Stauffer salutes her troops and turns around to enter the building with much of the old communist leadership now operating from their new city. It would make a fine capital for their new state, but for now they had to win the war.

Following a review of military forces that will be sent to Donau-bundesreich, it has been decided that three divisions of the Marine Corps will be sent to the combat zone in a Rapid Reaction force to the coastal regions. The following divisions will be the 1st Marine Division, 2nd Marine Division and lastly, 3rd Marine Division. As each division is in excess of 60,000 troops complete with equipment and are currently located on the West Coast, it will take at least 3 months to complete the boarding process and take another 14 weeks or more to reach the combat zone via the Panama Canal. This will be factored into the earmarked 140,000 that will be deployed from the East Coast and are currently undergoing boarding of ships. Currently there are 7 Gettysburg Class Amphibious Assault Ships stationed on the West Coast along with 14 vessels of the Union Merchant Marine and 3 Union Navy cargo transport ships and thus will be used to ferry these divisions to the combat zone

(Furstia, I believe this will solve the issue from earlier)

USS Arizona (BBG-01) 10 miles offshore from Ragusa, Donau-bundesreich

Admiral John Richardson looked out from the ship's Command Bridge, the glistening steel of dozens of warships reflecting off the water and from the sunlight. In the distance, black smoke filled the air and the occasional sound of distant naval gunfire echoed even from this distance. reading the reports from UAVs the fleet had sent ahead before taking up position to encircle the Communist Faction ships and the Furstian and Soviet ships in the area, he had a grim look on his face. From what the drones reported, the Comintern forces had 40 ships all together in the area, with his own subs, frigates and destroyers reporting Comintern submarines being active in the region. So far, they we're keeping them at a distance and the fleet was at high alert. He had ordered every Lancer defense system primed and ready in case the Soviets, Furstians or anyone else for that matter fired on his ships. But considering they were well with in range of nearly every gun in his fleet, he felt he had the upper hand. Speaking into the fleet-wide communications, he gave his orders to the fleet

"This is the Admiral speaking. Sailors of the Union Navy, today, we face a powerful foe. And though it is my hope that we can end this dispute peacefully and end this blockade in front of us, we must accept the fact that not all of them will be willing to talk this out. Therefore, I hereby order all battlestations manned and ready and aimed at the Communist Faction ships only. There is the possibly that the Soviets and Furstians may engage but we will not given them cause to target us just yet. Good luck and God Speed."

Ending the first broadcast, he keyed into the open channel to contact his Comintern counterparts and issue his warning and intentions

Attention Comintern Forces, I am Fleet Admiral John Richardson of the Union Navy. I have been tasked with ending this blockade and have been ordered to send this warning to your forces. Stand down and allow passage of my fleet or be fired upon. I repat, stand down and allow passage to the city of Ragusa or be fired upon. I have no desire to see the sea run red with blood and feel this can be ended peacefully. But be warned, my forces will defend themselves from aggression.

Imperial Eagle wrote:Union Forces approach Graz, begin talks with Imperial leaders

In the first operation being conducted by the Union Army in Donau-bundesreich, the city of Graz has been approached and the troops sent to secure the city, part of the 101st Airborne and 82nd Airborne Divisions, have begun to dig in around the city while talks take place with leaders inside the city. It's unknown how long the talks will take but it is hoped that the city is taken peacefully and Union forces can begin to secure the region and fortify. Currently, at least 3 brigades (3rd , 4th and 6th Brigades) are currently encamped near the city while more reinforcements are flown into Marburg. It is expected that some more troops from elements of the 4th Armored (1st Brigade) will be diverted to the area instead of heading to Banja Luka Airport to the south.

Union Army secures Graz, Imperial defenders agree to side with Republican movement

After a week of talks and compromises. The Union Army has secured the peaceful surrender of the city garrison after pointing out that it is better to work with the Republican faction in stemming or outright stopping the Communist faction. The Imperial leadership in the city was split over the decision but many have agreed to join the Republican movement due to their shared hatred of the Communist faction. Further Union forces will be sent to the city from Marburg in the coming days for future combat operations in the north against the Communists. The planned relief force that was earmarked for the city of Ragusa has been finalized and 4 brigades have been agreed on, two from the 4th Armored Division (3rd Brigade and 5th Brigade) and two from the 8th Infantry Division (7th Brigade and 9th Brigade). They are expected to arrive outside the city in several days. At the same time, the 2nd Armored Regiment of the 4th Armored Division and 12th Infantry Regiment of the 8th Infantry Division will secure the airfield outside the city and begin repairs to the runway and buildings and also prevent Comintern forces from bombarding it further. They will arrive roughly at the same time as the other brigades outside the city (roughly one RL day barring and delays unless they move faster in IC hours, Furstia not sure how IC hours work even after all these years lol)

Union Navy to enforce No-fly Zone (NFZ)

With the arrival of the Union Navy in the Adriatic Sea and now offshore from the city of Ragusa, the Union Navy's deployed carriers, currently out of range of both gun and missiles (near the boot of Italy but that's not known in RP i think) will now enforce the recently announced NFZ in the south of Donau-bundesreich. All nations that are neutral but wish to send observer aircraft must contact the Department of Defense for clearance to fly in this region. All others wil be warned to leave the area or be at risk of being shot down.

To whomever it concerns,

Greetings! This is admiral Linas von Quicksinken. We shall engage in our noble mission to bring peace to Danubia and save the people of Ragusa from extinction. We were hoping that you could aid us in our most noble pursuit by allowing our dispatched fleet, consisting of 2 destroyers, a cruiser, 5 frigates and four submarines, access to one of the great ports under your control. The fate of the Ragusan people is in the hands of your great nation. We were hoping to be able to use the naval facilities at Haifa to supply our ships.

Clarification of Lanfang's Position on the Civil Conflict in Donau-bundesreich

The Government of the Republic of Lanfang would like to issue a clarification about our position in the Donau-bundesreich conflict. While it is the position of the Lanfang Government that the civil conflict in Danubia is an internal matter to be dealt with by the people of Danubia, we would like to be clear that our recognition of the government of Danubia has not changed. As far as the Lanfang Government is concerned, the legitimate government of the whole of Danubia is the United Empire until and unless we announce a change in recognition otherwise. Lanfang hopes for a peaceful resolution to the current civil conflict for the benefit of all the inhabitants of Danubia, Europe, and the world.

    Rügen, Köningsberg adopts Fosnian names
The Island municipality of Rügen, and the Regional government of Köningsberg & Memel has recently completed votes in their local governments; choosing to adopt Fosnian names.
Rügen and Köningsberg were integrated as integral parts of the Kingdom of Fosna in 1967; after the North German Special Administrative Region was created. Those areas did not wish to remain within the Special Administrative District, and due to their diverse population, was allowed full integration in to Fosna.

Rügen has chosen the name "Rugbergen municipality", referencing Bergen; the largest town on the island. Rugbergen was chosen so that it would not be confused with the City of Bergen, on the mid-western coast of Fosna.

Köningsberg has chosen the name "Kongsberg". A small town in Fosna allready bears the name, but the regional government of Kongsberg found that there would be little confusion between the two. Memel, which lies in the same region, has elected the name "Ingeborg", after the late King Inge XI; who was a patron of the City of Memel; and visitied the town frequently.

    Linaiseburg

Linaiseburg Elections News for the Bundestag
    Bonn, 11:15 PM
The Serene Federal Republic of Linaiseburg has announced the results of the recent election that happened today. The last three years have been seen the reconstruction of the Center-Left-Right dynamic of the Christian Democrats and the Social Democrats. After the centrist coalition fell apart ten years ago, the Christian Democrats and Social Democrats ruled Linaiseburg independently, while the Greens and Zentrum grew in popularity, and Alternativ für Linaiseburg skyrocketed to popularity. Recent trends have shown the AfL vote at an all-time low, and prior to yesterday's voting, it was seen likely that the AfL would lose many seats. This has been due to growing distrust of an increasingly xenophobic party. A corruption scandal didn't help, and niether did some comments about the Linaiseburg Belgians and French by a German parliamentarian.

The elections have happened, and here are the results:
SDP Social Democratic Party: 246 Seats (+30)
CDU Christian Democrats: 201 Seats (+25)
    Z Zentrum: 92 (+25)
    G/A Green Alliance: 86 (+10)
CSU Christian Social Union: 66 (+15)
AfL Alternativ für Linaiseburg: 5 (-102)
    DL Die Linke: 39 (+9)
FDP Frei Demokratische Partei: 45 (-12)

After the results were announced, Hans Friedner, AfL Chairman, announced that he would resign from the party. Going from 107 seats to 5 ranks as one of the most embarrassing defeats in Linaiseburgian history. And while AfD supporters mourned the virtual collapse of their party, yellow and white fireworks went off above the Augustusburg Palace in Brühl. Half an hour away from the capital city of Bonn, the Augustusburg & Falkenlust Palaces are owned by the Wittelsbach family, a Linaiseburgian noble family from Bavaria. The family's link to the Zentrum party spans over a century, as the Catholic nobles supported the Catholic center party, and today this palace serves as the ceremonial headquarters of the Zentrum Party.

The Zentrum Party is the party of the Linaiseburgian Catholic elite, and finds its niche in the Catholic upper-middle and upper classes of Linaiseburgian society. These are the lawyers, the professors, and the Judges. These are the people who believe more in Linaiseburgian ideals than in one economic platform, and as such, Zentrum is largely in the middle with economics, but instead focuses on core ideals like Human Rights, Democracy, and Children's affairs. The Zentrum Party leadership is celebrating a win that makes them the third largest party, and many of Linaiseburg's elite are attending the party. Everyone from the Wittelsbachs themselves to the editors of the Westphalian Paper for Democracy, which officially endorsed Zentrum.

Now, the gruelling process of forming a government would begin. With no parties having expected such a loss by the AfL, the question of opposition is of the utmost importance. In order for a government to be formed, 388 of the 780 members of the Bundestag would need to agree. A coalition from the left wouldn't be possible (SDP - G/A - DL), and neither would one from the right (CDU - CSU - FDP). A grand coalition of the SDP, the CDU/CSU, and Zentrum is most likely. This is based on the SDP and CSU dynamic. With the SDP and the CSU having a weak relationship, it would be unlikely that the SDP would enter into a coalition with the CDU/CSU without a middleground. And with Zentrum having a strong relationship with the SDP, as well as a long history of a relationship the the CSU, from Catholic Bavaria, Zentrium finds itself at the perfect position to fill the gap. Will Zentrum define a new age in Linaiseburg politics as a kingmaker? Soon, all of Linaisenburg and the world will know!

    Title: Operation Nymphaea

Budapest — As the Red Army advanced through the city, heavy fighting took place in some districts. Some pockets of resistance kept raging on for days thanks to the close-quarter combat nature of urban warfare. Soon they were at the center of the city. As a T-14 moved through the plaza, turning its turret aiming at a nearby building and firing a round, soldiers took cover behind the tank. They soon made it across the plaza and the soldiers quickly ran into the Parliament Building. There was fighting inside between both sides. The battle inside slowly and painfully drowned out some Republican resistance. To this group of soldiers, it did not matter. They kept running, moving up from floor to floor. One of them was carrying a long pole, the upper half wrapped with some sort of red cloth. As they made it to the balcony of the building, the soldiers saw their Red Army fighting its way through the city. As tanks, armored vehicles and infantry cleared pockets of resistance, they grew prouder of their comrades. The man carrying the pole undid a knot and the red cloth revealed itself to be the flag of the Soviet Union. He stood on the edge of the balcony and waved the flag proudly. Another soldier took out a camera - shipped from Moscow - to take pictures of the scene. The next day, the best picture made it to the front page of Pravda for the whole world to see. But this was no small occasion and as such calling the scene a "battle" would be to give too stain the magnificent of the picture. The headline, in large and bold letters, read instead: "LIBERATION OF BUDAPEST"

In the aftermath of the battle, General Boris Pushkin himself was present reviewing his troops and learning information about the scene. Hundreds of Republican fighters were blind-folded, their hands tied behind their backs. They were on their knees, grouped in the plaza in front of the Parliament Building. Pushkin looked around and said: "Where are your friends from the ISA now? Was this worth it? I always say, choosing your allies is like marriage. You pick wrong and there will be a lot of pain." Soviet soldiers gathered in the plaza raised their rifles and yelled a "hurrah!" in unison. As it turns out, thousands of Republican soldiers were taken prisoners throughout the city.

Among the group he saw a very young soldier, he looked panicked. With his hand the general motioned one of the soldiers to bring him out of the pack. The soldier was brought out and put back on his knees in front of the general. He started crying. His blindfold soon was wet with tears. His tears left a clean trail on his face smeared with dirt and blood - signs of a hard battle. The general took off his left black leather glove. Then he grabbed the soldier's hair and pulled him up. He got on his feet, crying more than before. The general pulled down his blindfold and the soldier blinked many times, getting used to the light. He saw the general in his Soviet uniform, decorated with medals he didn't even know what they meant. Pushkin then said: "I want you to run to every Republican town and city and tell them what has taken place here in the past couple of days. Tell them that no one will help them. Tell them that if they do not surrender to the Communist cause and instead show resistance, there will be more Danubian blood unnecessarily spilled." With his right hand, he grabbed the jaw of the soldier. Then with his left hand he softly slapped the soldier's face a number of times: "you are too young to be fighting a civil war, son." He then ordered 3 soldiers to escort him out of the city.

    Part VI, Chernivtsi Army Group

    Part II, Lviv Army Group

Fünfkirchen and Esseg — The cities of Fünfkirchen (Pécs) and Esseg (Osijek), which have been under siege by forces from Furstia along with Danubian Communists, would be reinforced in their efforts by the Chernivtsi and Lviv Army Groups. Their march to those cities took 4 hours. Since the Furstians were attacking the city from the southern periphery, the Soviets would be coming in from the north so their attack concentrated on the northern periphery. This meant that the cities were effectively "sandwiched" by two attacking forces. After some hold-outs and some resistance pockets, both cities eventually fell to Communist hands. This would mark the first time that Soviet and Furstian troops would meet face-to-face in the conflict (aside, of course, from the troops in Spalato [Split]). The troops briefly celebrated this occasion and even exchanged gifts. The troops would rest for a night in the two conquered cities before resuming a joint campaign. The Soviet forces sent to these two cities were as follow:

      - 30,000 (20+10) ... Soviet soldiers
      - 200 ... T-72B3 MBTs
      - 200 ... BMP-2s
      - 100 ... 2S3 Akatsiyas
      - 100 ... T-90 MBTs
      - 100 ... BMP-3s
      - 100 ... BM-21 Grads
      - 50 ... 9A52-4 Tornados
      - 50 ... T-14 Armata MBTs
      - 50 ... 2K12 Kubs
      - 50 ... 9K33 Osas
      - 50 ... S-300V4s

    Title: Operation Nymphaea
    Part III, Vyshkiv Army Group

    Part III, Kiev Army Group

Raab and Preßburg — As a significant portion of the Kiev Army Group was fighting in Raab (Győr), the Red Army decided to reinforce that attacking force. To this end, an additional 5,000 troops (including the 2,000 Spetsnaz units) from the Kiev Army Group would march to the city to assist the present 20,000 troops laying siege. This meant that a total of 25,000 troops are in the operation against Raab. The reinforcements are expected to arrive to the city in 3 hours time. Their attack so far has been assisted by the Soviet Air Force with ground-attack aircraft (Su-34). Meanwhile, the Vyshkiv Army Group and the rest of the Kiev Army Group would set their sight towards Preßburg (Bratislava). The attacking force would march near the city of Raab but would continue north towards Preßburg in order to take advantage of the highways in the region in order to move faster. Their arrival is expected in 4 hours time. The combined force of this attack is as follows:

      - 50,000 (40+10) ... Soviet soldiers
      - 600 ... BTR-82As
      - 500 ... BMP-2s
      - 500 ... 2S3 Akatsiyas (from Reserves)
      - 200 ... BMP-3s
      - 200 ... T-72B3 MBTs
      - 200 ... T-80BVM MBTs
      - 25 ... 2K22 Tunguskas
      - 25 ... ZSU-23-4 Shilkas
      - 10 ... 9K114 Shturms

The city of Preßburg would soon experience a harsh impact from the combined Soviet forces. In the time that the forces take to get there, the Su-34s assisting in ground-attack operations in Raab (Győr) would also begin to perform operations in Preßburg. Just as it was the case in Raab, they would target armored divisions, garrisons, military storage, radars and communication installations, among others in Preßburg. The Su-34s will be using smart bombs in order to minimize collateral damage in the city.
