Different Zion. Zion Imperium is from the UDS, like I am.

As a citizen of the FNR, I am extremely disappointed with the conduct of this vote and request for the FNR to join. No one at all in our region was informed that we were supposedly requesting to join FORGE, and indeed I was only made aware of this vote through the casual mention of another member. This request if I'm not mistaken was made by our founder, Crystalsummer, who constitutionally is not a part of the government and has no official bearing. Even when I asked our president, he said he had no idea this vote was going on.
FNR has recently been trying to draw out of interregional organisations, and yet out founder thinks he can go around authorising whatever he wants. His word does not mean anything as he does not represent the FNR.
According to the Free Nations Region Constitution, the Legislature of our region is the only one authorised to pass treaties, and the executive (President) is the only one allowed to make and negotiate them. As the President was entirely unaware of this request and the Legislature hadn't voted on anything, this request for the FNR to join FORGE is very clearly illegal.
As such, I request that the vote be deleted immediately.
Thank you.

We support this notion and Condemn Crystalsummer 's actions as we would hope a founder would learn to represent their people correctly. FNR is always free to re-apply if their government sees fit in the future and I will assure you we will check to make sure your government is the one doing the requesting.
As Chancellor of FORGE, I apologise for the confusion.
I can confirm that Crystalsummer has made this request and that he did not make us aware of these constitutional provisions.
I hereby declare this vote illegal and furthermore will remove this poll. Once again, on behalf of everyone at FORGR, I will apologise for this horrible mess!
Kind Regards,

Thanks for the quick action. I'm alarmed that we were not made aware of this sooner.

What do you think about alliance-wide telegrams?
page=poll/p=86619
I posted this poll as I recognised that, while we have grown to be a large alliance in numbers (~1200 nations, spread over 16 regions), 90% or more do not even know of our existence. I feel we should focus our attention towards improving what we already have.
This again should be an issue that if a rep votes no their nation does not have to receive the telegrams.
We're talking about all nations in all member regions here though, not just the Representatives.
If I receive a telegram I will not be happy. :P
Why? FORGE is a great cause! 😛
Errrrr..... Let's just say.... I am holding a big grudge against the former leader for making the worst move ever... hence the reason why I left FORGE :P
Ahh Gatcha! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
yes but if a region does not wish for these TGs then they should not be sent to that region
If a region doesn't want to know anything about FORGE, why would it have joined in the first place?
It's not that, It is about privacy. You are suggesting sending a very massive TG series to every nation and some regions might find that as in invasion of their privacy. At the very least ask any region who says no if they are comfortable with the telegrams being sent out.
And what did he do?
I honestly don't see why this is an issue of privacy. Sure it might be a bit of a hassle to have unwanted telegrams in your inbox, but you can just delete them or block the sender. And it'd be great to inform our nations about what we're doing. They are in our alliance after all, and their region probably voted to join us.
Don't worry about it. It's between me and him
I spoke my mind, which was too harsh.
Groovy.
