Happy to get involved in a discord, I have been kinda running internal politics in UKZ so I have that fleshed out well

I'll keep you all appraised during the next days. Hopefully I'll come out with a project to submit to you and discuss together

Following a Motion of No Confidence moved by the Zack National Congress, the Liberal-Conservative Coalition has fallen as more than half of the Liberal MPs voted against their government and in favour of the Motion of No Confidence.

Liberal leader and former Vice-Prime Minister, did not issue a whip to his Liberal Party MPs.

Zack National Congress leader - Olver Davies has accepted His Majesty's invitation to form government. They will run a minority government as the Liberal Party has refused to join their coalition.

Please, hold your applause.

I mean emperor

Sorry for not keeping you appraised during this month. It was quite a complicated and busy one.

Anyway, I agree with Marquette that RP solely through news was a bit odd. I mean, it worked, somehow, but not always and it wasn't very efficient. News were however very good for mood and for spreading information, and I would keep them as they were.
At this point, the best option for RP is a Discord server, and a system of rules, both for States and, eventually, characters.

Very on board, lets get a discord going?

I don't know if it was weird, honestly. I think we all needed a better option for OOC discussion, and Discord works very well for that, but news-based RP seems to be about... I'm going to say 65% of the RP posts you'll find on NS. Obviously doing it on a forum meant that we could get really fancy with our news articles, but I think most RP posts default to it because they're quicker and easier to write. That said, I got my start in a region that almost never used them (and usually only posted news articles to restate something that was revealed in "real time" in another post anyway), so when I left that region I had to adjust really quickly to using a newspaper format instead.

There's nothing wrong with either method. Nowadays I would recommend mixing and matching, so that you can put up whatever kind of post works best for the situation (or for how much time and effort you're able to put into it).
