I made a fool out of myself in a Starbucks coz the people in the counter and those behind me in line expected me to blurt out what I wanted, despite there being a sea of choices... I had to settle with a extremely sugarified Americano

Iím convinced Starbucks is a social experiment, they just made up words and overcharged everybody to see what would happen.

Interestingly, there are only two words for tea in the world, based off the Chinese characters
tea/thť/tť and cha/che

Which one a language uses is based off whether they had contact with the Chinese through Portuguese traders via Macau (Cha) or through Dutch traders via Tianjin (Tea)

I thought the Cha version came from the overland trade with the Silk Road.

I am going for an achievement with Moldavia and I am already appreciating what Michael the Brave had achieved back in his day.

Today I learned several Canadians have sent SOS signals and waved the Canadian flag upside down to petition the US govt to ease Canadian lockdown restrictions.

Not that Iím familiar with there lockdown restrictions. I just find it funny they are petitioning to a US President than more than likely agrees with the Canadian lockdown

You know, even as my brain becomes smoother day by day, I rejoice to know that there are people with brains with such perfect smoothness that I couldn't ever possibly compete.
