My name is...well I used to go by a lot of them so I guess 'Bharatha' will do. I came across the Japan-Bengal war RP on the forums, recognized New Oyashima (I believe?) and decided to stalk this region. Long story short, I liked the vibe so, naturally, I wanted to inquire about applying for membership.
Other than TGing the 'Founder Account' directly & France about the map, I'm sort of confused on whether there are any further steps I would need to take.

If you're looking to RP, you can choose an unclaimed area on the map and then telegram 
New Metropolitan France your claim and alternate lore to work it out and get it approved. After that, I think you are good to RP.

now for the mandatory vibe check
So this is a couple general question and statements to everyone regarding the factbooks for the military of the region since it is close to completion:
-Do the people who do not have time/knowledge to create detailed factbooks want me to give them estimates for their numbers and what equipment their nation would have IRL on the Arsenal or via TG?
-I plan to have every piece of equipment linked to either a custom factbook or IRL link by 6/01/2020. Any that do not have one by that time will be given a link to an IRL equivalent to ensure we know what capabilities everyone has.
-Would we want to have a monthly update to the factbook starting on the 1st of the New Year to ensure numbers and forces are kept accurate and up to date? This would just be sending me any force updates.
-Other then France and Ben no one has missile tech listed and due to this I have decided to put a hold on that portion of the factbook until we know more. This does NOT mean it will be abandoned as missile use in this region alone justifies having details on that.
-Does anyone have a suggestion for what should be in place for the Images section? I do not want to go through all of those pictures......
-Lastly, opinions in general? Is this helpful and does the region think it should be updated?
I think instead of a monthly update whenever something changes people should just tg you the info. Maybe just remove the images column, it's probably best to keep the factbooks simple so as not to be overwhelmed when editing imo.
Definitely helpful, thank you for doing it. I think if it's kept up it will help us deal with a lot of the problems we've had before resulting from ambiguities in numbers and capabilities.
