The dead man is taken to a nearby medical station outside of the nearest star system.
its good that you did
As the man in the hospital is treated, the previous bus' occupants board the next bus. The other bus is automatically driven to a depot, but it is kept shut up. The new passengers on the bus spread the disease to other passengers.
The man, around 2 hours later and probably in a morgue, would sit up. His blanket slips and falls down from him, and he stays there, dazed for a few moments.
(And yes, I'm sort of modeling this after walking dead zombies.
The man in the medical station also gets up, and looks around. His eyes were slightly foggy, and he would get up, preying for his first victim, his hunger was immeasurable, and unjustifiable. But he didn't know. All he needed was flesh, the blood of man, and it was everywhere. He could smell them, and he began his walk to exit the room, limping as the beast was unfamiliar with his new body.
[he was resuscitated in a hospital bed
the usual protocol in arcadia is to try and revive the victim before placing them in a morgue
(Ah I see, then ignore my first thing
The man was left in a sad state, coughing up blood, an unusually high fever, and abnormal swelling. His eyes were glazed, and bloodshot.
The bus passengers would soon feel the effects, minor things pretty much, just light coughing every 30 or 40 minutes, nothing out of the ordinary.
The casualties mount on Dwarka, thousands more clone soldiers become sick, and in a state of disarray. Officers believe this is an unlikely event, feeling they were somehow shell shocked for an unexplainable reason. Unable to communicate with them, their comrades are forced to detain them, in some cases, shoot them until it's found that they can't kill them. Some soldiers claim to have killed them by shooting them through the head, but it's waved off as exageration, lying, and probably for attention.
The doctors had no idea what to do, as they had not seen this before. Samples and pictures are sent to the scientific community. The Science Board of Arcadia convenes to discuss this. Questions like "Could this be a new outbreak?" pop up.
Several go to their local clinics and are diagnosed regular medicine.
The virus continues to spread, as no apparent common medicine appears to have any effect on this disease. Patients who have taken MRI scans that have been diagnosed with the diseased can be noted that the virus resides into the brain, and begins to break down normal functions until the patient is dead, where, it then reanimates the body and lives off of the host and its nutrients gained.
(Edit: I forgot to move this part down here so it's clearer to read) More kidnapping victims have arrived on Arcadia from civilian ships, all with the virus.
The strange occurances are noted by the Science Board. New arrivals who are visibly sick are put into holding cells in air/spaceports. People picked up off the street from public transport are immediately quarantined when they reach the hospital.
Doctors see this and press an emergency button, calling two Derikan Security Officers
Those that die in space/airports would reanimate, and attack anyone nearby, their bites were another way to spread the disease.
New arrivals protest, however, don't really resist, probably too weak to fight (Those that want to).
The reanimated corpse would attack the officers once they arrived, attempting to bite one of them in order to satisfy their infinite hunger.
Harvey's vital systems began dropping, his coughing fits grew more violent. His fever rose to unprecedented amounts, around 110 degrees Fahrenheit. His coughs became so powerful, he began to cough up blood, and chunks of matter that were black, which could be assumed as pieces of his lungs. He began to have seizures around an hour after his fever rose, as he began to vomit black blood.
On Redwood, a planet hidden by surrounding nebula in the Reon system, diplomatic ships are prepared. They bow and pray to the King, and then leave, traveling to Vonihive, Dark Eclipse, Derikan rebels, and other antagonistic states to Derika, Arcadia, and Rothella.
[vonihove is gonna kill them, so
Several spaceports shut down due to the victims. Hundreds of people in Palisade City are now visiting doctors. This trend could be seen in other cities, especially Pirth City.
The officers fire their weapons at the corpse once they saw it.
The Derikan Medical Association asks the Emperor for permissions to close all borders, and he allows.
This could possibly spread the disease more, infecting those who weren't infected.
The weapons would have no effect on the monster, unless they hit the thing in the head.
Illegal immigration begins, as unmarked ships transport unconscious people outside cities, and leaving.
Thousands more are infected on Dwarka, while on Amasa, people begin to become infected.
Fighting on Dwarka intensifies, as Rothellan forces begins to push against the Eclipsan advnaces. Orbital bombardments, Bombing runs, and artillery bombardments are banned, because the planet is the largest production of food for Rothella. As a result, the advances are minimal, and with both forces knowing their tactics (As they're the same) most battles end in ties.
