Hello everyone, I am organising elections in my country, and it would really help if you could vote in them. The more people vote, the better it is. Here is a dispatch explaining everything:
The final run-off election results have been published, after being checked thoroughly. Here they are:
- Annalena Bruner (Green party): 43,59%
- Martin Cohen (Democratic Union): 35,9 %
- Peter Brooke (Forwards!): 17,95%
- Others: 2,56%
Annalena Bruner thus wins the election and becomes president of Lorendia, after an amazing youth turnout, which propelled her to first place. The Green party's strong results in the parliamentary elections probably influenced her successful run. She nows has the right to start building a coalition, which will be difficult, given the number of political parties in Parliament. Negociations will start soon.
14/08/2024
The first results have come through. First of all, the parliamentary results (percentage and number of seats of out 420):
- Green party: 18,67% - 82 seats
- Democratic Union: 17,33% - 76 seats
- Forwards!: 16% - 70 seats
- CRP: 13,33% - 58 seats
- Communist: 10,67% - 47 seats
- National Union: 8% - 35 seats
- Technocrats for Progress: 6,67% - 29 seats
- Others: 5,33% - 23 seats
- North Lorendian Independence Party: 2,67% - no seats (didn't reach the 5% hurdle)
- Lorendian National Front: 1,33% - no seats
The Green party came out on top, creating a big surprise, thanks to a massive youth turnout. For the first time since its creation, the North Lorendian Independence Party has failed to have any seats in Parliament, after a last few scandal-full years and a lack of success during the last independence campaign.
What Parliament looks like
Presidential election results:
- Peter Brooke (Forwards!): 22,03%
- Martin Cohen (Democratic Union): 18,64%
- Annalena Bruner (Green party): 18,64%
- Elara Voss (Citizen's Reform Party): 8,47%
- Jordan Gallo (National Union): 6,78%
- Theresa Munoz (Communist): 6,78%
Peter Brooke and Martin Cohen were automatically qualified to the second round. Annalena Bruner, of the Green party, has the possibility to go through, having reached more than 17% of all votes. Yesterday evening, just half an hour after the results came through, Miss Bruner publicly declared that she would continue to the run-off election, claiming victory in the parliamentary elections to justify her ability to lead the country. This means there are three candidates still running to be president. Voting will be held over the next two days, at the following link: https://strawpoll.com/05ZdzW6OEn6. Anything can still happen.
10/08/2024
Here it is again: election season. Our president, Peter Brooke, has been in charge of the country for almost a year now, so it is time to vote for the president and Parliament again. Will the young leader be able to secure a second term in office? Or will he fail, and be replaced by another politician?
Peter Brooke is running again, with his "Forwards !" party, using the positive narrative around his first term to campaign effectively. The main opposition party has fielded a new candidate from last year. The unlucky Giorgio Paolini left politics after his humiliating defeat, and his "Democratic Unity" party has chosen their treasurer, Martin Cohen to represent them.
Here is a summary of the presidential candidates' and their parties' statements:
Several parties are not presenting a candidate for the presidential elections, but are seeking to be elected to Parliament:
- North Lorendian Independence Party: seeks independence for the northern province of Lorendia, which mostly speaks Norvian and used to be brutally controlled by the Lorendian kings.
- Technocrats for Progress: believes in the power of technology and expertise to solve societal issues. TfP advocates for evidence-based policy-making, investments in research and development, and the use of technology to improve governance.
- Lorendian National Front: a small right-wing nationalist party that emphasizes national sovereignty, protectionism, and a strong military. LNF is skeptical of international alliances and advocates for policies that prioritize Lorendia's interests above all.
Votes for the presidential election can be cast here: https://strawpoll.com/e6Z2A8VNJgN . You have three days to vote. If no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote, there will be a run-off with the top two candidates, and any candidate with at least 17% of the vote who wishes to remain.
Votes for the parliamentary elections can be cast here: https://strawpoll.com/LVyK28WJ6Z0 . The 420 seats are allocated by proportional representation, using the d'Hondt method, a party must reach at least 5% of all votes to obtain seats.
Vote well! We are excited to see the results...

Raindrop Pact: A Powerful Force To Be Reckoned!
Article written by Namvosk
The world has emerged from the apocalyptic fury of the 11th N-Day, with the Raindrop Pact standing as one of the most valiant and destructive forces on the global battlefield. From 06:00 on 29 September 2024 until the dust settled at 07:00, 30 September 2024 (+8 UTC), the Raindrop Pact unleashed an unrivaled storm of nuclear power, marking its place in the history of global military prowess.
The regions of India, UEPU, Council of Asia, Far East Oriental Federation, and Africa fought side by side, bound by shared destruction and unwavering loyalty. The Pact claimed the 12th position in the overall World Score Ranking and secured an astonishing 4th place in the Strongest Faction in the World Per Capita. General Awesomeness told The Typhoon that this is the second time the faction has joined this conflict.
During the one-day conflict, the Raindrop Pact destroyed more than ten enemy factions, the recorded ones were the Ministry of Continental Defence, Yevrazian Black League, Banten Doomsday Protocol, Anti-Maxwellian Alliance, and TROUTS. The Pact proved its ultimate might, orchestrating 72,566 devastating attacks across the world while intercepting an impressive 49,616 incoming nuclear missiles.
In its entirety of aggressiveness, the Pact has maintained its alliance between factions under its non-aggression policy. These factions are RAILGUN, Trans Republic, Northern Kerbalia, Starlight Brigade, Cortexist International, Nova Arctic Republic, The Trident Alliance, and West Coast Coalition.
At the height of the war, the Raindrop Pact's shieldbank peaked at an estimated 60,000, showcasing how united and dedicated the nations of the faction are, demonstrating the strength and resilience of its defenses. Their shield donations truly helped the faction in staying alive until the war's final hours. By the end of the conflict, 44 nations remained, their deaths a testament to their loyalty, however reports estimate that over 100 nations fought under the Raindrop banner during this catastrophic day.
"Last year we were sixth. Honestly, we were a menace considering we were so tiny yet we took forever to kill. We originally were sixth this time but some miscalculations led to our demise, but in any case we did very well to be honest. Someone in an enemy faction actually did call us a menace," High General Transvaall stated during the N-Day Aftermath press conference.
Despite major victories, the Pact has fallen into ashes against the hundreds of thousands of nukes raining from enemy groups. The first major strike on the Raindrop Pact came at 19:06, 29 September 2024, when Landbang Rkipo Islands fell to an unknown enemy—sparking concerns of internal treachery. MIlitary leaders argued whether the nation had secretly migrated from a foreign faction, or as Namvosk quoted, "if it was the shieldbank not working on the Pact's behalf".
Alleged "rogue nations" of the Grand Coalition launched unprovoked attacks on Raindrop territories. In a swift and brutal counterattack, the Pact's Central Command issued the order to strike on 17:59, 29 September, and was able to penetrate through their shieldbanks in waves of nuclear attack, although unsuccessful in obliterating its member nations due to a higher shield count.
As the final moments of N-Day approached, with Raindrop nations reduced to smoldering craters and radioactive wastelands, Central Command of the Pact, mainly led by High General Mombombu, gave the ultimate order: that all remaining nations were to be kicked out of the faction to prevent any further damage. This move, while drastic, preserved the honor of the Pact, ensuring no further humiliation as the last bombs fell.
Despite the given order, High General Lower Nubia led the remaining unobliterated nations to fight back till their last shield, after receiving news of Mombombu's destruction on 20:04, 29 September. General Jordinia valiantly led the Pact in a last-minute strike against enemy factions before the arms treaty was issued to stop the war.
Honors were bestowed upon Namvosk for its heroic efforts in leading nuclear strikes during early-war and in coordinating between allied regions on the war happenings via the Pact's official communication lines. Pirate-Empress 0cala of TRA awarded every nation of the Pact for aiding their faction during N-Day.
All nations that participated in this event are revered as war veterans of the 11th N-Day.
High General Mombombu has expressed thoughts that the Raindrop Pact would rise again next year on N-Day 2025.
The Raindrop Pact’s final legacy is written in ash and radiation, but the unity and ferocity of its nations will not be forgotten. The Pact’s name will echo in the irradiated wastelands of this world, a symbol of power, unity, and indomitable spirit.
Raindrops, though miniscule, strike hard when united.

Far East Oriental Federation Forms Own Raindrop Pact Division
After a successful show during the N-Day, the Council of the Far East established the Far East Oriental Federation Division of the Raindrop Pact today on a Pact Meeting in a city of Kwangmyong.
The division was proposed by Namvosk in a need to mobilize and extend its services and military protection to the entirety of the region. First Premier Awesomeness will be head of the division's operations. Respective leaders and generals of Vanuzgard, Ceresterra, Conia Selpina and Arzastan were present in the meeting as witnesses of the document-signing.
"FEOF, in its commitment to promote global cooperation, affirms with the regions that make up the Raindrop Pact that our regional government aims for a connected and allied partnership between member-regions," Premier Natalya Matsunoya of Namvosk said in our interview.

In a sharp escalation of diplomatic tensions, the government of Kroniistatzka has issued an ultimatum to countries West Nichibotsu and North Wonscia, demanding the return of its diplomats and an explanation for recent communication silence. Kroniistatzka warned that failure to comply would result in a declaration of war.
