      JELGAVA, LIVONIA

      15 October, 2025

    | Anastasia looked over the opened envelope as she sat on her bed. The cloudy, melancholic day was important however, as the man that had passed bestowed the title of Grand Duchess on the princess, and just a mere few weeks after his passing, Anastasia was going to step up to take his place. Despite her education and preparation, she was often considered a shy public figure, rarely appearing in public, causing some concern for Anastasia over her reception by the public.

These thoughts were all interrupted by her agent, who notified her that everything was ready. She sighed and stood up before speaking, "I will be out in a moment." The agent simply nodded in response and left her alone in the room, though after a few moments she followed suit and walked out of the palace as well.

People surrounded the palace limits, some with cameras and some without, all eager to see the new Grand Duchess as she walked onto the temporary stage. It took Anastasia a few more moments to actually speak, utilizing the microphone to both address the crowd and the people watching.

"I know some...if not a lot of you don't know who I am, as I've never been one to do these kind of speeches or press conferences. But I'm here, as the Grand Duchess and not as that shy granddaughter of the Grand Duke who sadly passed a few weeks ago. I will do my best to live up to his legacy of keeping peace and order in Livonia, even at the cost of my own life if necessary." She paused, as she wasn't sure what else to say. This didn't last long though as she spoke up again, "I look forward to serving the people and changing Livonia for the better, just as my grandfather did. Thank you."

Anastasia then promptly stepped off the stage and was escorted back to the palace. A day later, she'd be coronated as the Grand Duchess of Livonia and officially begin her duties.

      RIGA, LIVONIA

      18 October, 2025

    | ELECTIONS | While Livonia is a monarchy, it has a democratic aspect alongside it, with the Prime Minister being elected every 5 years. And with November just around the corner, campaigning is at its all time high for the 4 candidates, with the NDP intending to hold onto the position of Prime Minister. However, the citizens have grown angry at the NDP's lack of progress over recent years, with every law on pressing issues being swatted down by either the NDP or National Alliance. The constant back and forth of the two parties has recently lead to growing support for third parties, particularly the Nationalist Party, which has gained significant traction in Eastern Livonia.

    Current Prediction Based on Polling:

      | National Alliance: 21.6% of County Votes | 39.2% of the Popular Vote

      | National Democratic Party: 45.9% of County Votes | 33.9% of the Popular Vote

      | Nationalist Party: 21.6% of County Votes | 28.5% of the Popular Vote

      | Estonia Representation Group: 8.1% of County Votes | 1.7% of the Popular Vote

      | East Latvia Party: 2.7% of County Votes | 0.7% of the Popular Vote

ALFA ROMEO SIGNS FIRST F1 WOMAN DRIVER IN 33 YEARS
      13 October, 2025 | RaceNews.net

SOCHI, RUSSIA — In the wake of a fantastic race in Russia earlier in the day, Alfa Romeo, one of the Ferrari customer teams, has chosen to sign a new driver to replace Antonio Giovinazzi in the second Alfa Romeo seat for 2026. While these changes are somewhat common in modern Formula 1, the new driver, who was revealed to be Sofia Madeira, is currently one of only two woman drivers in Formula 2 and will be the first woman to compete in Formula 1 since 1978.

Frédéric Vasseur, the current Team Manager, stated that Alfa Romeo will sign Madeira upon completion of the final Formula 2 Round in November. Vasseur claimed that Madeira would be the next "Charles Leclerc" as Leclerc leads the charge in Ferrari's battle for 3rd Place in the constructors' Championship. However, with all the Ferrari seats full, and with competition from Mick Schumacher, it is likely Madeira will have to wait a while for her chance at a Ferrari seat.

Madeira declined a request for an interview at Sochi following the announcement.

The FIA World Championship is the highest class of international auto racing for single-seater formula racing cars sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The World Drivers' Championship, which became the FIA Formula One World Championship in 1981, has been one of the premier forms of racing around the world since its inaugural season in 1950. The word formula in the name refers to the set of rules to which all participants' cars must conform. A Formula One season consists of a series of races, known as Grands Prix, which take place worldwide on both purpose-built circuits and closed public roads.

The results of each race are evaluated using a points system to determine two annual World Championships: one for drivers, the other for constructors. Each driver must hold a valid Super License, the highest class of racing license issued by the FIA. The races must run on tracks graded "1" (formerly "A"), the highest grade-rating issued by the FIA. Most events occur in rural locations on purpose-built tracks, but several events take place on city streets.

ECONOMIC EFFORTS

Khaled Al-Asad begins a campaign to revive the lebanese economy by opening and allowing trade between neighboring countries and allies after factories have begun production of metals and chemicals along with limestone and salt mines being opened by the state as the government has started to shutdown or takeover a majority of big private businesses.

Agriculture efforts by orders of Al-Asad to give farmers plots of land to begin growing food and crops for eating and trade and relaxing taxing on Agriculture sector to give farmers a breathing room.

Tourism and banking is now also opened for most visitors carrying valid documents. Most hotels are still intact and have reopened for business and more are being constructed throughout the country mainly in Beirut as a hotspot for tourists.

Government is now starting a massive public employment program to encourage the population to work.

Politics/Ideology

Al-Asad has expressed his admiration of ba'athist iraq under saddam in it's glory days and has stated that he will be following his footsteps in the running of the nation but with more progressive changes.

To cement Khaled's popularity among the people, A propaganda campaign was initiated by running military parades in Beirut carrying banners of new ba'athist lebanon while military and officers are ordered to give out pictures of Al-Asad to every household and business to hang on their wall as to be reminded who freed them from the shackles of a tyrant.

Ahmed Khaled Al-Asad also began discussions and talks with lebanon's most prominent tribes to assert that the law of the Al-Asad is above all and must be obeyed, But tribes will still be recognize and respected if they do not interfere or cause trouble within the communities. Another condition if tribes wanted to stay is a complete disarming of them and all other civilians from owning any form of a gun. though this sparked some rejection by The Ghannam tribe, which has started a clash between soldiers of Asad and tribe members that ended with imprisoning the entire tribe leadership until further notice.

Extract From “The Blood Years”, A Book on his experience of the 'Zairean Civil War', by Award-Winning Zairean Author, Vital Kamerhe

In the city of Goma where I came from, right on the eastern border of Zaire, the day of independence came with great celebrations and joy. The Belgian king had announced that Zaire was to remain intact and that Albert Bongo & Guillaume Zamba would head it.

As a Muswahili person, I was proud of Zamba for making history. But not all people of my ethnic group shared my sentiments. Many Muswahili believed that Bongo was the real person calling the shots and that he was attempting to vassalise the Muswahili again.

After all, historically we Muswahili had always relied on the Nzere for help against Zanzibar slavers and so had always been vassals of some kind to them. The Belgians only made the divide worse by using the Nzere as a ruling class.

Even with all the talk the two founding fathers had about “Pan-Bantuism” and how we were all “Bantu brothers”, none of it saved the nation from the bloodshed that followed the year after.

In the west of the country, the streets of cities and villages was bathed in blood by 1961, as ethnic Kongo secessionists led by Leon Wasisi attacked ethnic Nzeres. Machetes, guns, clubs, whatever they could find, the Kongo unleashed hell upon their neighbours. And in turn, the government of Bongo & Zamba unleashed its wrath on the Kongo.

Children were ripped from their families and taken into government custody, entire towns and villages with a Kongo majority were burnt down with men and women alike being indiscriminately shot. Bongo & Zamba managed to bolster the military with Western weapons because they claimed that the Kongo secessionists had Communist affiliations with the Soviet-backed Labour Party in neighbouring Congo-Brazzaville.

In the north, where the most radical Nzere militia had formed, the military fought using trench warfare, slowly encroaching and surrounding the Nzere militia’s positions outside towns and then chasing after them once they fled their stations and mowing them down. These battles were particularly brutal because of the Nzere militias unconventional tactics & masterful use of the jungle terrain.

The worst battle was the Battle of the Boyoma Falls in which Nzere militia attacked entire communities of Muswahilis and the military charged them by boat near the Boyoma waterfalls of northern Zaire on the Zaire River. The waters were drenched red with blood, and the dead mutilated bodies from all sides.

By 1962, the dead bodies were piling up across the nation and millions were displaced, running to and fro trying to find places in the huge country where people weren’t killing each other because of ethnic rivalries. Many had no idea whether the state would survive… and then Zamba died…

There was no longer a Muswahili leader anymore. The Nzeres who were angry at a Muswahili being the president, no longer had a reason to fight and had already been demoralised by their defeats against the military. The Muswahili had long lost their will to fight.

The only people who fought ferociously until the bitter end, were the Kongo and their leader Leon Wasisi…

President Zé: Well, I understand. And I’m glad to hear that. As for Zaire… I took the presidency after a man named Emile Bles took power. Under him the ruling party and the country were undergoing a… cleanup. Prior to Emile Bles, corruption had suddenly become rife & the country’s most powerful conglomerates were not kept at bay and so things were crumbling. Bles initiated the cleanup & I’m finishing it off, stamping out corruption wherever I find it and launching projects to improve the country. I want to bring back the golden age Zaire experienced in the 80s. So before I go into what deals we could set up, is Spain in support of Zaire’s goals to the protector of Bantu peoples on the continent?

SNAP ELECTION CONTESTED, MIRED IN CONTROVERSY

    FINLAND'S BITTEREST ELECTION
    FINLAND—AUTUMN 2025

The last month of Finnish politics has been a whirlwind. Following the tragic death of moderate President Kai Mykkänen—who had given anti-reactionary speeches in the weeks preceding his death—after the loss of his plane while flying to Norse territory, the various corners of the Finnish government began to accuse a dazzling array causes and people for the disaster. Right-wing speakers, chief among them parliamentarian and presidential prospect Alvi Karvonen, blamed the mishap on Norse traffic control's negligence or, worse, the purported malice of the Norse state. Left-wing speakers, conversely, often blamed the accident on the right wing—the death of the President opened an important window for right-wing parties (namely the Finns Party, led in rhetoric by Karvonen) to leverage their increasing influence into securing the presidency.

Not long after the highly-publicized funeral of Mykkänen, the snap presidential election mandated by the Finnish constitution took place. The already-thriving reactionary movement was only helped by the crash, shockingly—Karvonen's calls for revenge against the state that "slew our chief citizen, whether by intention or accident" only fueled the momentum of the Finns Party. In contrast, merited concerns over right-wing involvement in the plane crash from the Social Democrats and its allied parties faltered under a lack of evidence (as the investigation was not yet complete), despite support from the moderate National Coalition Party. The lack of the usual presidential debates stripped the moderates and skeptics of chances to directly debunk Karvonen's rhetoric. The truth fast became a weapon in the election, which one political analyst labeled "the haziest and bitterest in the modern history of Finland".

Hearts rose and sank across Finland when the results scrolled across television, phone, and computer screens. Finns Party candidate Laura Huhtasaari had won 6.9% in 2018 and 23.2% in 2024. Shockingly, in just twenty months, Finns Party support had risen to an amazing 53.3%—enough not only to secure 2025 candidate Alvi Karvonen the presidency but to completely bypass the need for a second round. With major opposing candidates Pekka Haavisto and Tarja Filatov—as well as several minor ones—soundly thwarted, on the 1st of October, 2025, Alvi Karvonen was sworn in as the President of Finland. Interim president Orpo relinquished his duties to uneasily resume his role as Prime Minister, the head of state now—for the first time—a member of the Finns Party. Accusations of fraudulent votes existed before election night had even come to a close, but as of October, it seemed that Karvonen finally saw himself in power. His first address to the Finnish people was one of gratitude for their unprecedented support, but so too of anger for what he claimed was essentially a Norse attack on Finland. Tensions with Norr had become severely strained, and Karvonen's election was doubtlessly pessimistic.

    A NEW MAHAMANTRI & GOVERMENT!

FOREST CITY, SINGHAPURA NEGARA - The end of the Pai Universal Court and Secretaryship wasn't a surprise to pundits and analysts, what was shocking was the scale of defeat faced by the Dharma National Party. The 2025 elections saw a new majority take the Imperial College. The elections, the largest free and fair democratic election in Southeast Asia, saw His Universal Majesty's Opposition voted into government. The Samya Coalition Party-led Dharmānigrahātantra Janāsangha Coalition (DTJS: People's Coalition for the Dharmic Revolutionary Government) won 54% of seats in the Imperial College, making them the new leaders of the Singhasari Empire. His Universal Majesty, the Maharaja, congratulated the DTJS's victory and stated that the "Lotus Throne looks forward to working with its new Chief Secretary". The political victory garnered off of the previous Mahamantri's indecision and second-term stagnation, with the SCP promising real reforms and a revitalized Nusantaran presence in the global economy. The promises of the SCP wait to be actualized, but confidence in the new Universal Court is high.

The State-Party Cooperation Council of the Jasmine Regeneration Society confirmed the election results and declared that the SCP's coalition won the national elections. The JSR's internal organizations quickly moved to issue their certification of the election. The certification would be presented to the Emperor to sign, although a ceremonial action the new government needs imperial legitimacy to declare victory. The Lotus Throne's certification will come in the following days while the SCP selects a member of their party to become the Mahamantri of the Universal Court. The SCP's nomination of former Imperial Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Krishnanita Awarasala, was not a surprise; nevertheless, Awarasala's Chief Secretaryship is expected to be a transformative one.

Since last month's election, districts across the Singhasari Empire elected people from labor unions, scientific organizations, cadet groups, and more to represent their interests in safeguarding the virtues of the Dharmic Revolution. These 5000 delegates will represent the elected body that will confirm the next President of the Executive Rajyasabha - the foremost leader of the Jasmine Regeneration Society. It is expected that they will confirm Krishnanita Awarasala to serve as the President of the E.Rsabha. She will then be confirmed by Emperor, publically, to become the Mahamantri and Chief Secretary of the Empire. This process will happen during the opening of the session of the JSR's Māhasthana.

The 5,000 delegates of the Māhasthana will assembly in the "Palace for the Popular Lotus Governance" in Forest City, across from the city of Singapore. The delegates will represent all elements of the people and will become the chief democratic organ for national development within the JSR. The Māhasthana is expected to discuss several new topics that are being engaged by the Singhasari Empire such as cooperation and the status of Philanialle's Borneo, deepening relations with Paramountica, and the expansion of Nusantara's role in the global economy. More importantly, this Māhasthana will explore how the shape pragmatic policy in the 21st century. Although the tenets of the Dharmic Revolution are still strong, the Empire has seen a second renaissance in pluralism, art, culture, and technology. Many are accrediting this time of great prosperity to the former Pai Universal Court's "Southeast Asia First" strategy of ensuring peace and stability at home rather than abroad. Moreover, many across the Māhasthana worry that the People's Consultative Paura (around 2500) will advocate for an abandonment of the Pai Doctrine and a reliance on foreign powers. Abobe all else, this will be Mahamantri Awarasala's opportunity to discuss her agenda for national development, foreign affairs, and the future of the Singhasari Empire.

Torn by the Times

The city of Zabrze has felt alienated by the proposals by Warsaw to use Lublin's green initiative as a testing ground as Zabrze is a coal mining city and would lose millions if the coal plants were to be shut down. Mayor of Zabrze, Małgorzata Mańka-Szulik, sent her concerns and the concerns of the companies to Warsaw. Warsaw sent back a rebuttal stating that the survey did not include the citizens themselves and whether they'd like to eventually make a switch to renewable and or clean energy methods. Mayor Mańka-Szulik understood Warsaws complaint and had a direct survey issued to all residents of the town, via a snap local referendum.

"Would you like to see Zabrze eventually phase out coal for clean/renewable energy sources."

Survey takers, which represented 60% of the population voted to keep the coal as most worked or knew someone who worked in coal. Those that did vote to phase out were given an option to adopt the Lublin Plan and buy solar panels and then connect to the grid. No other measures would be taken to force the "No" voters to make the switch as a condition of the introduction of the Lublin Plan as asked by Mayor Mańka-Szulik. Some "No" voters that had the money, pooled together to see if reopening the Ludwik coal mine could be feasible and conducted a study of the coal in the mines area. Enough was found to break even and have a small profit as well for 20 years. Said voters petitioned the city council who allowed them to do so and sent the notice of intent to Warsaw who granted them the tools to do so. An article was written in a Varsovian magazine about the town stating their desire to remain "in the past" and a preference to not adapt to the changing times. Zabrzians criticised the article stating the changing times would destroy their livelihood and destroy the charm.

THE 119th HOUSE OF THE UNITED STATES

T H EH O U S E
.

As per the Constitution, the U.S. House of Representatives makes and passes federal laws. The House is one of Congress’s two chambers (the other is the U.S. Senate), and part of the federal government’s legislative branch. The number of voting representatives in the House is fixed by law at no more than 435, proportionally representing the population of the 48 states. Article 1, Section 2 of the Constitution provides for both the minimum and maximum sizes for the House of Representatives. Currently, there are five delegates representing the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. A resident commissioner represents Puerto Rico. The delegates and resident commissioner possess the same powers as other members of the House, except that they may not vote when the House is meeting as the House of Representatives.

Qualifications Article I, Section 2 of the Constitution
sets three qualifications for representatives:

(1) they must be at least 25 years old;
(2) they must have been citizens of the United States for the past 7 years or longer;
(3) they must be inhabitants of the states they seek to represent at the time of their election.

Sam T Rayburn D
SPEAKER of the HOUSE

SAM RAYBURN of Texas, a dominate American political figure and the longest-serving Speaker in House history, was born in Kingston, Tennessee. RAYBURN’s 17 years as Speaker—during the 76th through 79th, 81st through 82nd, and 84th to 87th Congresses (1940–1947, 1949–1953, and 1955–1961)—spanned a period from the eve of American intervention in World War II until the first year of the John F. Kennedy administration. Known affectionately as “Mr. Sam,” RAYBURN was a House institution who exerted his influence through skillful persuasion and humor rather than arbitrary rule. He often brokered legislative initiatives among a group of autocratic and conflicting committee chairmen to whom much of the power in the House had devolved.

Joseph W Martin R
LEADER of the MINORITY

JOSEPH WILLIAM MARTIN JR. served as the 44th speaker of the United States House of Representatives from 1947 to 1949 and 1953 to 1955 — and House Republican leader from 1955 onwards. He was a "compassionate conservative" who opposed the New Deal and supported the conservative coalition of Republicans and southern Democrats. He urged General MacARTHUR to seek the 1952 Republican presidential nomination, and supporters of ROBERT A. TAFT accused MARTIN of favoring DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER in MARTIN's role as chairman of the contentious 1952 Republican National Convention. After EISENHOWER won the 1952 election, MARTIN supported EISENHOWER's internationalist foreign policy.
