| Xerxes chuckles in good nature, but Noor should be able to tell what he meant by his comment. Yet to touch his whiskey at all, Xerxes sets the dark blue beret he was wearing on his lap, the double lightning bolt symbol facing her. |

I was hoping that Iraq is standing on it's feet due to MECO, we are a unity that lifts each other up beyond words. Next month, Iraq will gain its first major payment from MECO from the budget, I think that this will be an immense opportunity to spend it and push forward. Which leads me onto the relating topic, the Arab League."

The Prime Minister nodded with a smile as she spoke.
Prime Minister Khalil:

We intend to use the bulk of that first payment to get the vaccinations we need to finally stamp out Coronavirus. We expect Iraq will reach herd immunity by January as we vaccinate the rural populations. Now, the Arab League. What do you wish to discuss?

OPERATION WAHR - GERMANY SENDS ITS FIRST FORCE TO INVESTIGATE POSSIBLE MASSACRE IN A VILLAGE

After the rumors of the Galo Massacre erupted, the Bundeswehr Command received troubling news from members of the Bundeswehr that what had been rumors could be true.

General Berthold was extremely annoyed by the situation. The entire training of the PGC was made to avoid such incidents. Yet, the training wasn't fast enough to comprise the entire PGC force.

At home, the scandal erupted hard on the German Government. Scheffner immediately approved the start of an investigation about the "Galo Massacre". The decision was made couple days after the events.

The investigation unit was attached to a special Bundeswehr Prosecutor OL. Carstens. It was now the first time Germany would take the initiative to move away from the PGC area with its own forces. Assigned was the 12th Tactical Brigade of the 2nd Infantriedivision.

At 0800, from LINDER base, the detachment composed of 5 armored vehicles set off towards Gallo. Along with them were two Tiger Luftwaffe helicopters specially assigned to the mission codename : WAHR.

-Arriving at Gallo-

The PGC/NRA forces still in Gallo started hearing a strange noise. Vehicles that sounded heavier than what they used to have. A big pile of dust was forming on the road.

One of them takes the binoculars and sees the flag, black, red, yellow. "The Germans". They were not pleased to see them. "God damn cockroaches."

The German convoy advanced and saw in the distance the presence of troops. WAHR 1 confirms their identity as PGC and as they keep progressing towards the village.

But once arriving at the village, the welcome committee is less friendly.

The convoy stops and the engines turn off. The soldiers deploy one by one but not freely. They remain next to their cars and the gunners do not even move. Oberstleutnant Carstens gets out of his armored car armed with his G36. There was an awful silence. The NRA soldiers all looked at him.

The NRA soldiers encircled the vehicles and formed a wall of men blocking the road further into the village. In front of the wall stood a tall and impressive figure. Captain Dialo. As Carstens understands he is the boss, he moves to him but before he even speaks, Dialo interrupts him and his walk.

Captain Dialo : Sir, we got the area under control. Thank you.

Oberstleutnant Carstens : Captain, I'm here to assess the tactical situation.

Carsten decides not to care and walks left forward. But suddenly Dialo, in a brutal move, pushes him back with a strong hand on his chest and his rifle.

Captain Dialo : There is no need........... O.L Carstens. Really. They are all dead.

A German soldier looks at the scene completely baffled. He says to his mate next to him

Soldat Jakoz : Did he just push the Oberstleutnant ?

Soldat Kloss : I... I don't think we are welcome here. I feel something wrong.

Carstens starts to get annoyed by the attitude of the Chad captain.

Oberstleutnant Carstens : I have permission from your Command to be here. So... what will you do ?

Captain Dialo : Nothing Sir Carstens.. but

Dialo only slightly touched his weapon, and suddenly, the level of stress raised beyond understanding. The Bundeswehr leader of WEHR 2, Leutenant Stamberaus raises his G36 and points directly at Dialo.

All NRA soldiers raise their weapons too and ready them in an awful and terrifying noise of weapons getting ready and chambers get filled with bullets. The Germans immediately respond and the gunners of the 5 cars load their turrets, index fingers on the trigger. Kloss and Jakoz were sweating all their water in their bodies.

Leutenant Stamberaus : YOU WILL NOT EVEN TRY !

Dialo was not impressed. Carstens either. And the silence continued. Heavy and immense. Carstens understood, that within the PGC lied particles of soldiers who had no precise goal, and had no discipline. They were the reason this war would be lost for Germany and for Chad overall. But right now, he had no advantage. He wasn't going to die for this and not here.

    O.L Carstens : Very well

Without caring, Carstens walks back to his car, and signals for the unit to retreat as the Tiger helicopters arrive on time at the distance.

The German soldiers, nervous as ever, (for many their first encounter), slowly moved back inside their armored vehicles. The gunners remained as stressed and ready as ever.

The convoy turned on their engines and made a U-turn.

In the car, Carstens speaks to his Leutenant Stamberaus

Oberstleutnant Carstens : Something is wrong. We need to be smarter. I got some faces. And I some good contacts in the PGC and within our units. We will have to make this investigation way different tonight.

Leutenant Stamberaus : These Afrikans... This village was totally empty sir. No one except them.

Oberstleutnant Carstens : Yes... We will have to infiltrate this unit or make them move somewhere. Sattelite images should help us and I'll send some helicopters for patrols. They aren't many. And we can easily arrest them with the right amount of power. Saskia is getting complicated. If the PGC keeps messing around, Scheffner will pull the plug or make a rope on them.

[ Grand Emperor Xerxes ]: "Much like Iran did during the days when the fort was operating, an increase in trade from South Afrika, everything from consumer goods to weapons technology. My dear friend, Mr.Musk, has offered to be the chief engineer of the weapons lab that will be held at the base. He has assured me, that whatever is built at the lab will become available to Iran, with the right price of course. Not only that, it will bring a major influx of jobs to your people and it will be a historic moment as well, the return of South Afrikans to Iran, for the first time in nearly twenty years. Despite our cultural and political differences, South Afrikans and Iranians have always prospered working together rather than against each other."
