VIZCARRA ELECTED EL PRESIDENTE

Política | ANDINA - Agencia de Notas del Agrariah

[Nada sin Libertad • 1 August 2017]

    | LIVE COVERAGE: MARTÍN VIZCARRA TO BE EL PRESIDENTE |

It is election night in Agrariah. Agrarians across the nation have cast their ballots, and news and media outlets continue to report the results as they come in. Broadcasting live is Jose O’Shea, a news commentator with ANDINA, one of Agrariah’s leading outlets.

|Jose O’Shea:|...and, I do believe that, well I think we can call it. Martín Vizcarra will become Agrariah’ next Presidente! Of course we’ll still need to finalize the resulting numbers, however we’re looking at an estimated 61% of ballots cast for Vizcarra, 26% for Saúl Tasis, and 14% split among several other candidates...|

The news of the election began to spread throughout the nation as the ballot counts were confirmed. Many Agrarians rejoiced in their homes and in the streets, and it felt like a new sense of hope had been found in Agrariah. Presidente-Elect Vizcarra sat in his personal study in his home in Lima, prepared to deliver an address to the nation.

|Presidente-Elect Martín Vizcarra:| Good evening, my fellow Agrarians. I am both humbled and honored to have been elected your new Presidente. As I prepare to take office and prepare my administration for the challenges we face, I continue to ask for your support. Peru has been the victim of populism, isolationism, and nationalism for the past few decades. Now, do not mistake nationalism for patriotism. I am proud to be an Agrarian. I understand that our country is flawed and in need of healing. I understand that many of you are critical of your government, and rightfully so. The scandals of the previous administration have torn a hole in our hearts. I understand that it will take time to regain your trust. But I’m going to begin by making my administration as open and as transparent as possible. You can expect frequent news briefings, news releases, and press conferences, such as this one. |

| In the coming weeks and months I will begin to roll out my plans and policies detailed in my campaign. It is my goal to work with congress to address the needs of Agrarians across all provinces. My first task as Presidente will be to jump start the Agrarian economy. We will begin to roll out an assortment of government-sponsored programs, offering both unskilled and skilled workers various jobs designed to modernize our infrastructure. We’re going to modernize our roads, tunnels, and bridges, expanding them where necessary and building new ones. We’re going to invest in our rail network and look into high speed transports. We’re going to increase our military budget, focusing first on building new ships, modernizing our Navy. Our air force is in dire need of upgrades to its fleet and capabilities as we move into securing an Agrarian presence on the world scale.|

|I will be consulting with, and appointing top experts in their respective fields. I will act upon their counsel and together we will work together to strengthen Agrariah and advocate for our interests. To our international friends and neighbors, Agrariah is open. I cannot wait to work with South American leaders and those around the world to ultimately make the world a better, safer, and more profitable place for our children. I understand that previous administrations have been hesitant about working towards international cooperation, however I can assure the South American continent that Agrariah is on your side. I will work to secure trade agreements that benefit all parties. We will address the border disputes with our Ecuadorian neighbors, and facilitate the conflicts in Bolivia. We are eager to join DOSA and LSEG and commit to its guiding principles.|

|Unfortunately, while we celebrate our victory here in Agrariah, there are millions of hurting under the authoritarian regime of Mexico. The struggle against liberty is one that, sadly, Agrarians are not new to. The pain of the Mexican people is one we share. In the coming days I will be imposing strict sanctions upon the Mexican government, and will be consulting with military and social experts to allow any refugees a safe route of passage into Agrariah. Agrariah is a diverse nation, full of people of different origins. We will gracefully open our borders to anyone who has experienced pain on behalf of an authoritarian government.|

|Nada sin Libertad, my fellow Agrarians. Our future is bright, and despite all obstacles, we will prevail. Thank you and goodnight.|

Finland is a Nordic country located in Northern Europe. From the late 13th century, Finland gradually became an integral part of Sweden as a consequence of the Northern Crusades and the Swedish colonization of coastal Finland, the legacy of which is reflected in the prevalence of the Swedish language and its official status. In 1809, Finland was annexed by the Russian Empire as the autonomous Grand Duchy of Finland, during which Finnish art flourished and at the same time the basic pillars were created without knowing about future independence. In 1906, Finland became the first European state to grant all adult citizens the right to vote, and the first in the world to give all adult citizens the right to run for public office. Nicholas II, the last Tsar of Russian Empire, tried to russificate Finland and also terminate its political autonomy, but following the 1917 Russian Revolution brought an end to his rule, Finland declared itself independent from the empire. In 1918, the fledgling state was divided by the Finnish Civil War, with the Bolshevik-leaning Red Guards, supported by the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, fighting against the White Guard, supported by the German Empire. After a brief attempt to establish a kingdom, the country became a republic. During World War II, Finland fought the Soviet Union in the Winter War and the Continuation War, and Germany in the Lapland War. After the war, Finland lost part of its territory, but maintained her independence. Finland largely remained an agrarian country until the 1950s. After World War II, the country rapidly industrialized and developed an advanced economy, while building an extensive welfare state based on the Nordic model, resulting in widespread prosperity and a high per capita income. Finland joined the United Nations in 1955 and adopted an official policy of neutrality. The Finno-Soviet Treaty of 1948 gave the Soviet Union some leverage in Finnish domestic politics during the Cold War. Finland joined the OECD in 1969, the European Union in 1995, the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council in 1997, and the Eurozone at its inception in 1999. Finland is a top performer in numerous metrics of national performance, including education, economic competitiveness, civil liberties, quality of life, and human development. In 2015, Finland was ranked first in the World Human Capital and the Press Freedom Index and as the most stable country in the world. It also ranked first on the World Happiness Report report for 2018, 2019 and 2020.

OOC: do you have any evidence that Mexico is restricting liberty or anything else you claim?

Meco meco wrote:| Legislative Proposal 006

Country Proposing IRAN

Concerning Entry and Suspension of MECO Members

| In understanding that MECO is a new growing organisation

In understanding that MECO is placed within a highly politically, socially and religiously active region

In understanding that compromise, prosperity and peace are vital for the Middle East

Iran has proposed the following legislative proposal 006

    On Entry

-- Countries wishing to join MECO fully understand what MECO is, what MECO represents and what MECO aims for

-- Countries wishing to join MECO fully understand the contributions they will be required to give towards MECO and the benefits they will gain

-- Countries wishing to join MECO understand and accept that MECO is a single-market, has the MECO Area of Free Movement, has legislative and elective positions and institutions

-- Countries wishing to join MECO understand that MECO has a common foreign policy, especially in fields of economy

-- Countries wishing to join MECO should join on the basis of the legislative house/s or/and referendum rather than through a decision of a singular leader

    On Suspension/Removal

-- Countries within MECO understand that the Middle East is a fragile place

-- Countries within MECO are exposed to many benefits but also legal consequences

-- Actions of member states that are intended to go against the common goal of MECO / cause trouble within MECO / cause trouble within the Middle East / cause disruptions and provocations will be punished after the Three Strike Rule

-- The Three Strike Rule will be based on Three Warnings. First Warning will be a letter from the House of Equality pleading the member state to rethink its position. Second Warning will be a meeting between the President of MECO and the leader of the member state. Third Warning will be suspension of all rights. After the three warnings, the country will be excluded from MECO.

-- The House of Equality decides on when to issue warnings, but any country within MECO can bring an issue forward to do with a member-state behaviour and the House of Equality will discuss.

-- Only the Council of Nations, through a majority of votes, can exclude a country from MECO.

-- Only the President can suspend a country in its membership rights until the damage is repaired.

-- Any act of war against another MECO member or an active offensive war against a Non-MECO member will mean immediate exclusion from MECO.

-- Any act of violent interference into another MECO member politics will mean immediate Third Warning.

It’s a political statement made by a newly elected president, so no. But that’s not the point. Evidence or not Peru will impose sanctions, and open its borders to any and all Hispanic refugees affected by the Cartel wars.

You basically said, "we condemn a government for executing criminals who have been convicted in a court of law and for fighting against criminals." That does not send a good message.

The Grand Comoro resort

      July 2017

The major Yugoslav corporation named "delta holding" has managed to acquire another piece of land in Grand Comoros island near Moroni where the company expects to build a luxurious 5 star resort in collaboration with the government of Comoros and another Yugoslav company by the name of "Energorprojekt holding". This move is seen as a very positive move by the government of Comoros and Yugoslavia because it means that the republic of Yugoslavia will have better relations with Comoros and due to this resort Comoros will get more tourists for their rapidly increasing economy and rapidly developing population, the new 5 star luxury resort is set to be completed in 7 months and open in 8 months. Due to the large numbers of Yugoslav companies expanding to other nations the Yugoslav have created a concern of them becoming powerful Oligarchs who could influence the government by the Yugoslav media but the topic hasn't been given any serious attention
