It is still with horror that La Plata is undergoing a murderous terrorist attack by Paraguayan communist rebels. With more than 32 dead, including at least two rebels, and 48 wounded, it was the deadliest terrorist attack on La Plata and Argentinean soil. Buenos Aires was shaken by the explosion and a macabre silence followed the detonation. Then, the sounds of the city resumed with the deafening siren of the police cars, firemen and ambulance drivers.

CTRB News is the national television channel and was clearly a priority target of the rebels to be heard. In fact, they sent requests and a statement to be broadcast on the evening news, otherwise more attacks would follow. Of course, the government in La Plata does not negotiate with the terrorists and their demands were refused.

President Mandrake made an announcement following this macabre attack on a symbol of the nation:

"Once again, our nation is being attacked in a sneaky, cowardly manner. A symbol of our unity was targeted today and I offer my condolences to the families of the victims.

It goes without saying that the safety of my fellow citizens is my top priority and I will do everything in my power to put an end to this cycle of senseless violence that seems to be taking hold in our nation. I speak directly to you through the symbol that was targeted. My voice resonates with you, my fellow citizens, thanks to our brave patriots at CTRB News who allow me to speak to you despite the damage to the main tower. I assure you that this attack, like the one perpetrated on our embassies recently, will not go unpunished.

Operation Unidad is already under way and I am closing the borders between La Plata and the Platinan, Brazilian and independent Paraguays. This region will be sealed off and separated from our sacred hinterland. I also declare increased surveillance in our cities and the Brigada Justicialista and Mandrakist Youth will all be deployed. I invite our patriotic people to join their ranks to secure our lands from infamy. I keep Martial Law at my disposal in case the situation deteriorates. In this election year, I may ask for extraordinary powers should the crisis escalate.

However, in order to face this new hidden enemy, I am providing more funds and manpower to the Secretaría de Inteligencia de Estado (SIDE), our national intelligence center, to better find the rats that dare to hide among us. Moreover, I declare that the Brigada Justicialista and the Mandrakist Youths will extend their mandate of Operation Unidad to the entire territory of La Plata. This cooperation between the national intelligence and the paramilitary forces will allow our intelligence agency to become more proactive against internal threats, but also against external threats and interference.

Do not worry, my fellow citizens, our beloved La Plata will survive this crisis, as always.

CONDOLENCES

The Philippine government is saddened at the recent attacks in Nevbrejnovitz. In the interest of the safety of the Filipino people, the Philippines is temporarily imposing a travel ban on all countries located in South America, in the event of further bombings. The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that no Filipinos were hurt in the attacks.

The Philippines is offering La Plata $3 billion USD of money to reconstruct the CTRB building and the embassy which was recently bombed a few months ago.

La Plata thanks the Philippines

It is with an open heart that La Plata accepts that gift that will surely bring closer the people of La Plata and the Philippines. Although, the government of La Plata invites any government to keep the borders open and to let travel and toursim flow as usual. The recent events are anecdotes in La Plata's peaceful history since 30 years and the security is at its maximum. Tourists are not targets of attacks and their protection is assured by the police forces, different paramilitary branches and the tight border with the problematic zone and the rest of La Plata. The building of CTRB News ans the embassies will be rebuilt in sign of resilience of the Platinan people and in sign of friendship from the extraordinary support from the Filipinos brethren.

-THE TURKISH SITUATION | TÜRK DURUMU-

APRIL 2017

The Grand Ousting
7th of September, 1980

Large factions of the Turkish Military lead by the Nationalist Movement Party founded and run by Alparslan Türkeş would overthrow the Turkish government while many were distracted politically by the Turkish-Kurdish Conflict Türkeş grew his support base out of the anger and rage many Turks felt against Kurds and leftists. He played the military against each other as he made connections with high ranking generals. On the 7th of September commonly know by the highly nationalistic Turks as “Salvation Day” members of the Grey Wolves, The Nationalist Movement Party, and the Turkish Armed forces would seize control over strategic buildings and institutions from Istanbul to Diyarbakir. The coup participants were all seen wearing tan balaclavas commonly referred to as the Tan Heads or Taba Başlıkları. Anyone who resisted was shot or beaten severely and jailed as in only 3 hours Türkeş addressed the nation abolishing the former Turkish Constitution and creating a new one where in all Political parties deemed Leftist or Kurd sympathizing as illegal. Türkeş would then be sworn in as The Grand Leader of Turkey a council under him made up of Turkish Generals and Party members.

The Türkeş Purge [Kanlı Yıl | The Bloody Year]
September -> December, 1980

Soon after the Türkeş Government took control a sweeping purge of Leftist and accused Kurd Sympathizers took place with kidnappings of political figures, bombings of political offices, jailing of dissidents, murder of anybody found supporting Leftists and Kurds. A new security force would be composed to assist in the purge and for the continual control over dissidents called The National Guard made up of two Turkish Nationalist Paramilitary groups of the Turk-Kurd Conflict the Grey Wolves and the Turkish Revenge Brigade. The National Guard would become the secret police of the Party declaring loyalty to the Party.

Operation Tranquility [Operasyon Huzur]
1981

As the Turk-Kurd conflict raged in South East Anatolia Türkeş planes and executed a ruthless military campaign in South East Anatolia with the goal of complete destruction of Kurdish dissidents and the Turkification of the region this Operation consisted of a complete saturation of South East Anatolia to fight any found Kurdish fighters leading to thousands of Kurdish Fighters to die in the conflict. Once a victory was declared in 1987 against Kurdish Terrorists a process of Turkification of Kurdish majority Anatolia took place with advocating for Turkish families to move to the region and a dilution process with millions of Kurds moved across Turkey in order to stop the formation of a majority Kurdish area to form. A permanent Turkish Armed Forces presence would be placed into South Eastern Anatolia of 40,000 during this process to face any Kurdish resistance. The Operation was deemed over in 2001 with no province forming a Kurdish majority and an end to hostilities in the region.

TURKEY IN 2017 [2017 TÜRKİYE]
April 2017

Alparslan Türkeş passed in 1997 and with the end of his reign came some reforms and loosening as the Nationalist Party Assembly made up of Party members voted Prominent party member Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as the Grand President of Turkey. The Nationalist Party Assembly worked as each province sent one democratically elected party member to represent their province in the assembly who stayed in the assembly for 5 years before national elections are held for assembly members in every province. Grand President Erdoğan brought in this democratic reform to the Nationalist Party Assembly to ease political tensions in the country in 2000. Erdoğan has kept a strong hold over Turkey with still almost complete power of the government. In 2015 Erdoğan officially renamed the Nationalist Movement Party to “The Party of Turkish Progress” in the Turkish called “Türk İlerleme Partisi” Abbreviated as TİP.

Turkish Government and President Erdoğan makes statements

President Erdoğan made a public announcement on Turkish television stating:

“Earlier this day I learned of the horrid attacks made by leftists in La Plata and it reminded me of the sad days in Turkey’s past. I offer my deepest condolences to the La Plata people. I know my words do no justice for this disgusting attack so I offer Turkish assistance to the La Plata government if needed.”

In Istanbul and Ankara vigils were held and Turkish Social media was filled with politicians denouncing the Paraguayan rebels as terrorists comparing them to the PKK.

Brazil sends over a team of investigators and construction/demolition workers to help clear the damage and rebuild. Pedro III also raises the ready alert status to active watch and eliminate. While that’s going on the military, law enforcement, and the homeland defence orgs budgets have been raised to ensure the survival of the nation. As for ethnic Paraguayans, they are placed under watch for any sympathy to the terrorists. The Paraguayan embassy has been seized and searched for any sort of anti brazilian resistance. Unknown to the government, some Paraguayans are planning an attack in Belo Horizonte on the Mineirão stadium. They’ll attack during the halftime show posing as janitors. A couple days later and the game happens. The match was a friendly domestic one between the home team and a team from Manaus. The game went on normally in which Manaus was up by two goals and Horizonte had possession of the ball. The game went on until the halftime show in which a manausan singer performed. The janitors got themselves into place and began placing C4 all around on specific support columns disguised as ads for the next couple of games and events. The C4 was placed inside the light up boxes as a way to better hide them. Upon the conclusion of the penultimate song, the janitors bad placed over 150 things of C4. At the finale of the concert, the janitors timed the explosion to happen as soon as the cheering started and both sides felt as one. Upon the explosions 7000 were killed by collapsing sections of the stadium and many tens of thousands more were injured. Bolsonaro dropped everything and flew into Belo Horizonte when it was secured to assess the damage. He soon gave a speech about it.

Bolsonaro: On what seemed to be a good day in this city turned south in a heartbeat. This was supposed to be a day in which everyone no matter their background could get together and celebrate our sport. However some cowards who I’m gonna guess are Paraguayans and not angry locals have decided to continue to ruin South Americas stability. I will be continuing to find and stop once and for all these terror attacks and to bring the nation back to its glory days. These pos will not last long as I have removed any barriers to catching criminals and terrorists. God Bless Belo Horizonte, God Bless Minas Gerais, and God Bless Brazil!

After 80% of the rubble was cleared the death rate rose to 17,000 and the injured was at 45,000. Hospitals around the region were on overload. As for the claimants, the Paraguayan peoples army claimed the attack. Damages to the building amount to $450 million

La Plata in pain aside his brother

Mandrake personally called Bolsonaro to offer condolences and potential support.

The joint operation on Paraguay will begin as soon as insurgents and their bases are located.

In the meantime, After hearing of that deadly attack, La Plata heightened its security around the most important cities and at major events. A football (soccer) match for local semi-finals was canceled when the news was made public. Bo risk had to be taken.

In Paraguay, the population, especially at Asuncion, is in the unknown about their future in the Union, especially with a growing resentment between the security forces and the locals and the locals towards the whole La Plata for being stigmatized.

Tensions are growing and dissent may lead to insurgency if nothing is done. Maybe this is what Mandrake wishes for?

Bolsonaro accepts and thanks mandrake for his call. He also gets permission to launch recon missions to find the bases. All football games are cancelled until peace is established. Paraguayans are our under surveillance for criminal and insurgent activity.

COMPUTER USAGE STATISTICS IN THE PHILIPPINES

The Philippines is a nation which has adopted high technology standards. Computer usage has increased ever since the formation of the first bulletin board system in the Philippines in the year 1986. In 1995, the Philippine Network Foundation installed a 64 kbps connection to Paramerican telcom company Sprint.

Internet usage is now at an all-time high, with a 67% penetration rate. The country’s major telcos are Globe, Smart and PLDT. The Philippines is the texting capital of the world, sending more SMS messages than Paramerica and Europe combined (approx. 119.2 billion in 2017). With a projected 128-167 billion text messages expected to be sent in 2020, the Philippines is the unchallenged texting capital of the world.

There are an estimated 87 million phones in use, the vast majority being cheap phones, contrary to the more expensive iPhones used in Paramerica and other wealthier countries. Internet use is mainly concentrated at internet cafes, with internet cafes likely responsible for more than $16.2 billion of the 2017 national nominal GDP of $470 billion.

Internet addiction rates are moderate, with an estimated addiction rate of 11.26%. Computers are also in wide use across the Philippines, with the collective computing power of all personal computers in the Philippines estimated at 17 PFLOPS. The Philippines also plans to build the world’s fastest exascale computer with help from Nusantara, Paramerica and nations with large supercomputers.

The average price of a PC is ₱85,000 ($1,300-600), asusming the PC has around 10 million FLOPS of computing power. The average internet speed of the Philippines is 5.57 mbps. As part of the Philippines' infastructure rejuvenation initiatives, there are plans to increase the average internet speed to 20 mbps, by 2030.

Undersea cable infastructure also links the Philippines. Seven networks of undersea cables connect Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Western Europe, and the Philippine-Nusantaran Undersea Cable system is complete, linking Manila, Jakarta, Singapore and Davao using a series of four 30-terabit cables, enough to transmit 200 years of HD video in a second.

There are larger plans for Philippine undersea cable connections, with the Japo-Philippine Undersea Cable system linking Tokyo, Osaka, Manila, Davao, and Cebu proposed, but not approved as of now.
