Arnold: Alright, if my wife agrees then we’ll do it.
- Arnold would head to Felix’s room and once he got there he’d simply gesture for Felix to follow him.
Felix stood up, having been laying on his bed when Arnold walked in.
- Felix: "Where are we going?"
Arnold: The neighbours. The nice folks have invited us over for dinner, maybe they can answer a few questions you have about this place.
- They’d all follow the Minhs over to their place but before they entered the Minhs would halt the Wagners in their tracks.
Mrs Minh: Shoes off please~
Felix raised an eyebrow, but complied and took his shoes off. Lucienne did the same with a smile.
- Lucienne: "Oh, I assume that's customary here, right?"
Mr Minh: Wouldn’t want to bring bad energy in from outside now would you~?
- The Minhs would lead Felix & his family to a dinner table in a living room that looked very similar to theirs. There were bowls and trays laid out on the table and it only remained for them to be served.
Lucienne chuckled.
- Lucienne: "Erm...I suppose not. May we sit?"
- Mr Minh would nod and they would all be seated. Mrs Minh would bring in steaming pots from the kitchen and begin serving food on everyone’s plates. She served noodles that was in a spicy and flavourful soup which had chicken meat in it. She would then bring glasses of water for everyone and fill them up from a large jug of water. Once this was done, Mrs Minh would sit down and they’d begin eating. Mr & Mrs Minh had chopsticks, while they gave knives and forks to the Wagners.
Mrs Minh: So, how are you guys finding Hanoi?
Mr Minh: Yeah, we’re only now turning into a car nation. The previous communist government didn’t really help create the economic climate where cars could be the main mode of transport, and ever since people have kind of stuck to their ways. But that’s changing as the country gets more developed.
Mrs Minh: Our country’s going through some great changes~
- Arnold: "Turning into a car nation, eh? Good to hear, I work for Citroën."
He chuckled and started eating the spicy soup, as did Lucienne. After a moment, Arnold's face went red, and he cleared his throat, sipping the glass of water in front of him. Felix smirked.
The Minhs also laughed aloud, very amused.
Mrs Minh: Aww bless him, he can’t handle the spice~
Mr Minh: He’ll get used to it. *chuckles* As for me Mr Arnold, I work for Volkswagen, guess we’re both trying to make this country a car nation.
The Confederation of Northern Germany is my original nation so yes I know my way around a factbook.
I'm going to direct 100% of my GDP to buy an aircraft carrier and arm it with Rafales
FEAR THE MALAYSIAN MOVING ISLAND
I'm only like two miles from the South Carolina border and I got lost trying to find this place and ended up driving into South Carolina, and I don't know how to put this politely but the second I drove into South Carolina everything became horrible immediately, which is just talent tbh.
I remember we got lost on country roads in the north of England and then all of a sudden there was a sign saying ‘Welcome to Scotland’ and we just looked at each other like ‘fvck we’re REALLY lost’
I stan and relate to this talent.
Me, driving here: yknow this feels like more than 1.7 miles
The road signs: "Welcome to South Carolina"
The road: *goes from a nice newly paved five lane road to a two lane road that must've been last paved in like 1990*
Me: "f-ck"
I just binged Designated Survivor Season 3 and my god it's so good

Lee Min-Jung and Bang Kwang-sun Breeze to ‘comfortable’ Majority in Snap Elections
Former Prime Minister Lee Min-Jung and her alliance partner of the ULD have breezed to a comfortable majority winning 312 seats in the National Assembly, with 301 required for an overall majority, it is larger than her last majority which was slowly ebbed away over the last three years.
LDP-ULD: 42.63%, 323 Seats
GNP: 30.52%, 181 Seats
DLP: 13.29%, 63 Seats
MDP: 11.47%, 29 Seats
KPP: 2.09%, 4 Seats
The slender majority means the Lee can put her controversial referendum for a approval, which became the main theme of the election. The proposed referendum would see voters approve a new constitution to abolish the position of President and instead at the end of Kim Dae-jung’s term Crown Prince Yi Hoon would be elevated to the position of Emperor. The return of the monarchy has been fiercely debated for years since the fall of the Japanese Empire in the 1950s, the House of Yi fought for the Allies and returned to Korea in the late 50s despite threats from then President Rhee Syngman.
The justification for returning the monarchy is to provide a neutral head of state and a central figure to provide stability when politics cannot do so. The bill is controversial with the MDP and DLP opposing it, with the DLP claiming it would riot on the streets if the monarchy returned.
Lee’s problem won’t be convincing the people to like the monarchy, with Yi Hoon already being a popular figure in the south and in large parts of the north, it'll be convincing the people to allow a monarch to have the sweeping powers that they propose to give to Crown Prince Yi Hoon
