July 22nd, 1995
Great Hall of the People
Office of the President
Joint Chiefs of the People's Central Military Commission

Of which has become a rather routine tri-weekly meeting with President Xi Jinping since the continuation of the imperial empire of Liberalina and the continual instigation of hostilities and lack of diplomatic initiative of The Shining Purple Light, the Chiefs of the Chinese Armed Branches would enter into a conference room that is connected to Xi's Presidential office. Filing into the conference room with military bureaucratic officials, the Joint Chiefs and other commanding officials would take their assigned seats as they awaited for the arrival of President Xi Jinping. What has become rather customary since Xi took office, a dramatic entrance would occur as the large doors that connected to the President's Office, exclusively used by the President when entering the conference room. As President Xi Jinping entered into the room, all military officials and bureaucrats stood from their chairs and begun to clap until President Xi took his seat, unbuttoned his suit jacket, took a deep breath, and opened up his red notebook to take notes.

l Minister of National Defense Liu He l: "We thank you Mr. President for taking time out of your day to meet with us as the continual situation with The Shining Purple Light and Liberalina continues to deteriorate. It has been months since the beginning of this nascent crisis; however, I firmly believe that China has been thoroughly patient for a very long time as it pertains to the illegal independence of The Shining Purple Light. Understanding the initiative of Madam Peng Liyuan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the People's Liberation Armed Forces and the Revolutionary People's Brigades believe that if the People's Federation continues on this path of allowing for Hong Kong to remain defiant against the true will of the Chinese people, the growing power and legitimacy of Beijing will always be questioned as well as your leadership capabilities and potential. That is something that, at least the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of State Security, and the Central Military Commission wishes to avoid."

l President Xi Jinping l: "I thank you Mr. Minister He for the introduction to the current situation that we are faced with and therefore, would like to hear from Deputy Chairman of the Central Military Commission Yang Shangkun on the current synopsis of where our forces stand as well as the potential avenues that we have at our disposal in regard to the current situation."

l Deputy Chairman Yang Shangkun l: "Thank you Mr. President. Currently, the People's Federation has the advantage economically, politically, regionally, and militarily. After continual discussion with the member states of the Council of Asia, the implementation of a combined tariff of 25% in addition to the closing of access into the Chinese markets and the mainland's economy, the economic and financial development of The Shining Purple Light ought to be significantly weakening. The Politburo of the National People's Congress has begun drafting a bill that will immediately cut Hong Kong out of the Chinese economy and markets in addition to implementing heavy penalties toward any Chinese companies and banks that may seek to circumvent the legislation. The legislation should be ready for your signing by the end of the day. In regards to military mobilization, as of right now, we have a total of 330,000 soldiers ready at this very moment on your orders for commencement of operations. Operation Constriction has been put in full activation; therefore, we are closely and continuously monitoring movement in The Shining Purple Light airspace. In fact, everything within 190 miles is being detected; however, radars have been prioritizing Hong Kong and activity within Hong Kong, commercial and military. The anti-ship missiles in connection to Operation Constriction are being implemented as we speak. The missiles are the HY-2, HY-3, and HY-4 anti-ship missiles. With the implementation of the HY anti-ship missiles, this provides us with a maximum range of approximately 500 km, or 310 miles. This brings the territorial waters of all of Hong Kong as well as a sizable distance into international water under our targeting range. With 190 miles of aerial coverage and targeting capabilities and 310 miles of anti-ship missile average and targeting capabilities, Hong Kong is very much easy."

l President Xi Jinping l: "Hmmmm I see. And what about Liberalina? They still do occupy Thailand as well as Singapore. I believe that there is a great possibility that they would seek intervention. What is the time duration in this matter that we would have?"

l Deputy Chairman Yang Shangkun l: "Mr. President, it would take Liberalina approximately 2 hours 36 minutes to arrive at Hong Kong; however, with the establishment of a no fly zone and the banning of entering Chinese airspace and territorial waters, the British would be inching toward direct war with the People's Federation, which is something the British ought not wish to seek, especially with their continual holds in Asia. Such war would be too costly for the British to become fully invested in; therefore, they should not be really much of a concern. With Operation Constriction, the British would be entering directly into the target and radar range of approximately 218 surface to air missile defense systems. If the British were to send their ships Mr. President then the ships would be in range of approximately 180 anti-ship missile defense systems stationed throughout our archipelago located directly south of The Shining Purple Light. With our string of new air bases completed, I am suggesting that we begin the mobilization of aircraft toward those air bases. At these airbases, we have in total 155 surface to air defense systems in addition to radar systems of short, medium, and nearing-long range capabilities."

l Minister of National Defense Liu He l: "I firmly agree with the Deputy Chairman. The longer we wait with Hong Kong, the more our legitimacy as a Civilization State begins to dwindle and once more China becomes the humiliation of the world. That is something that I know you do not want and that is not something these ancient lands would want to endure once again. We have the capabilities to do what is necessary to ensure full unification of the mainland. This is the only thing that is missing. We have the support of the Council of Asia."

l President Xi Jinping l: "I thank you both for the consul and advice....have an additional 70,000 soldiers prepared and place them between Jiaokeng Island and Lanni Bay (35,000 per island). In the meantime, increase aerial presence near the waters and airspace of The Shining Purple Light near Mirs Bay. Are the MLRS and howitzer artillery put into position?"

l Deputy Chairman Yang Shangkun l: "Yes Mr. President. They are all positioned strategically and are able to to hit anywhere in The Shining Purple Light. In coordination with the already deployed and present aircraft in the area, intelligence and information are being transferred back and forth between the Army and Air Force to ensure further coordination and drafting up of logistic operations. With the closing of the border, we are in good position to strike when given the authorization."

l President Xi Jinping l: "And the same goes for the tactical ballistic missiles?"

l Deputy Chairman Yang Shangkun l: "Yes Mr. President. The tactical ballistic missiles are in position and have coordinated targets of where to strike."

Xi Jinping would seem very pleased. After hearing more from Deputy Chairman Yang Shangkun and Minister of National Defense Liu He, President Xi Jinping has called for a lunch break before returning to the meeting of national security.
