Woah.

I feel like someone hacked the mainframe.

Colors and dispatches in the WFE?? This is incredible. The lack of being able to spice up the WFE has been a serious oversight.

Now explain your hacking magic immediately.

Just seeing what color I am

Blue W00t, W00t

Has someone put something in my Hot Chocolate or something

Wow - different browsers react differently to this.
When I use Opera on a laptop, the subsequent posts are blue on both the region & RMB pages.

When I use Chrome on my phone, only my "Is this where the magic ends?" post shows up blue. The subsequent posts are red (if I'm looking at the region page) or black (if I'm looking at the RMB page). Which makes the "Blue W00t, W00t" post look out of place!

St. Nick, are you only able to use saturated colors, or can you de-saturate them somewhat?

It's funny seeing what is and isn't changed. For instance, the color of the commas between embassy names, or the "Edited" notification.

I am using Brave desk top . Its all red up to Sky of Stars post. From there its blue

If you switch to the Message Board view, the colors do not appear.

So many colors... Witchcraft Magic!

I'm just on Google on my phone, posting because I want to see pretty colors.

Dang, it worked.

Welcome! Pull up a chair, and help yourself to some sprouts. How's the weather in the Wooloo Pact?

How do you do ?

Christmas is just two months away. And I have an announcement/confession to make.
Judge me and expel me if you like.
I am older than you may think. My father grew up, as a lad, right between the German and the British Embassies in WW 2. He was an Anglophile and brought me up as one too.
However, I love Germany.
Not the Nazi Regime.
Not the Holocaust.
Not the Nuremberg Nazi rallies.
Not the infamous book burning events.
Not the poor Jewish-German store Kristallnachten.
Not the Nazi Party.
Not the Gestapo. Much less the SS.
Not the Einzatsgruppen.
And most certainly not the Blitz night bombing of over innocent English cities.

Nothing of the sort.

I just like the military prowess of the Wehrmacht, just like General Patton and Field-Marshal Erwin Rommel respected each other.

And above all I like it when British and German regiments played football on WWI Christmas truces.
It's heartbreaking.
Remember : in all ALL wars generals make the same Promise : "The war will be over by the end of Summer. We'll bring your boys back home for Christmas."

And even in their darkest hour men could rise up to their finest. You don't have to be a military historian. In the Battle of the Atlantic the Royal Navy and the Kriegsmarine sank each other...while saving crewmembers whenever possible.
I'm not saying there's honour or beauty in War, although I love a good kickboxing match on the ring.
Just saying that all men, especially seamen, are all the same. When circunmstances are alike.

Let this be a message of peace for the World. We're all Sons of God.
And German families & girlfriends missed their loved and missed their ones too.

In their hearts and minds, they all we're eager to smoke the pipes of peace.

Now you can expel me from this region.

Bing Crosby and a young David Bowie.
Who would have known ?
Thanks

s'alright :P

It's interesting history to learn. Especially, as you say, the Christmas Truce. Incredibly moving. In general, the history of the first world war is a thing to behold.

And there was a time when I spent much time among folks of international backgrounds, and some of my most cherished memories are times spent with Germans. In fact, I have never had a poor experience with one. They're a grand people, and I would love to visit some day.

Certainly Not!

I watched at night

Gotta say, I'm curious how the new colors came about. I like it a lot!

Much better. Here have some sprouts. I've been stockpiling them during the lockdown. They are becoming more heavily demanded with each passing day.
