I was checking out other vector images of ribbons.

Something like this could be placed over any flag, and transformed into a wrapped package.

I'm sure they will and if they don't you can resign in protest.

The correct response is: humored

Yeah, just like that NS Issue. The good news is, it will likely lower our Corruption and increase our Integrity :P

Lit up the Arena!

by Waiban, Harmonic Empire

Greeting my little tributes, Waiban here! Well, this was a pretty interesting game. Lots of players got their hands on some explosives from Mr Unknown Sponsor, yet never lived long enough to use them. Here I thought they were gonna blow up the whole arena! Anyways, congratulations to Team Greater Charville佑harville and Greater Tagrai庸or their victory!

Here's a fun thing I discovered recently:

http://jimhillmedia.com/editor_in_chief1/b/jim_hill/archive/2004/05/25/37.aspx

Apparently, Disney World was going to transform an old abandoned island that previously was their "Discovery Island" into an island park themed around "Myst" -- that old CD ROM game from the 90s. Guests would get dropped off in the morning and picked back up in the evening, having all day to explore and try to solve the mysteries. Sounds like it would have been some combination of Live Action Role Play and an escape room.

That also sounds like an excellent plot for a horror film.

I watched at night

I知 not gonna lie, I知 already tossing some Christmas music in the rotation on Spotify.

HA!

Now that's someone who loves their Christmas music. I find the "crooner's" stuff (Bing Crosby, etc) to hold up pretty well all year round.

Also, I guess if you count Christmas in July, then you're actually right on time :)

I absolutely loved Myst and its follow-up games and devoted almost all of my time playing them and immersing myself in its world. I would have loved to have to partake in such and attraction.

Welcome to the region Saint-Roque! What brings you to our wintry shores?

Please help yourself to some sprouts, and make yourself at home :)

Yeah, I know the feeling. Loved that game, too. Though, I never did play its follow-up, "Riven." That park would've been so much fun...

Thank you. What brings me to your wintry shores? Your wintry shores. All of it. Setting up the tree. Office parties. Candles. Both the moral comfort of a good Christmas story and the lights and the allure of gift shopping. I love it when families gather, including the odd uncle who brings the children awesome gifts from his travels to exotic lands, thus making amends and earning forgiveness from his older, wiser brother. Your aunt always gives you socks and you forgive her for that too. And I love watching Christmas specials all snuggled on the sofa, eating sweets, watching the first Harry Potter movies too, I love a good Christmas story. Including the greatest of all, going to Midnight Mass.
Above all I like the giving and being with the family. That's what really matters to me.
And the magic.

That was very lovely, thank you very much for sharing. I think you illuminated quite well the things that make Christmas special. And there really isn't anything quite like a good Christmas story.

Funny about the "Harry Potter" movies, isn't it? You're not the first one I've heard describe an association with them and either Christmas or the Winter Season, in general. They did come out around Christmas, so there's that. Also, they usually feature some notable Wintry scenes. But they're also just cozy. I feel that especially with the books, too. Members of my family have gotten really into the audiobook versions, and they really hit the spot, as well.

Ohhh, great idea, thanks! It never occurred to me to look up a play-through of the game. That should be a fun watch.

You can see what you missed by not playing Riven.

Speaking of wintry scenes, I once spent some time downunder. Christmas in the Summer felt strange. Not funny at all. Only thing interesting was seeing girls in red bikinis and Santa hats on Bondi Beach.

I live in Florida, kinda the same. We are out having Christmas BBQs. People make Christmas trees out of sand on the beach.

Somehow having Christmas in the middle of Summer or in the heat seems so wrong to me. :(
