QOTD: Is a hotdog a sandwich? Why or why not?
Let me share a quote from our discord about this:
LET IT BE KNOWN, THAT ON THIS DAY, THE SEVENTH OF MAY TWO THOUSAND AND TWENTY THAT CAER SIDI DECLARES THIS CHART OF WHAT CONSTITUTES SANDWICHES. LET IT ALSO BE KNOWN THAT IF HOT DOGS ARE TACOS, THEN WAFFLE CONES ARE BURRITOS AND THAT IS JUST HOW IT IS, J. THAT IS JUST HOW IT IS.
HEAR YE HEAR YE
THIS IS AN OFFICIAL DECREE
The following Food corollaries are now true related to this -
An enchilada is sushi.
A Pop-Tart is a calzone.
Poutine is a salad.
A vanilla soy latte is, technically, a three-bean soup.
SOMETIMES THAT IS HOW IT BE
some times it dont be like it be but it do
sometimes it don't be like that, but this time that how it be

5 years ago: Region founded by The Sun Never Sets on the Land of Caer Sidi Founder.
Happy official birthday, Caer Sidi! I just wanted to post a little speech here and in the discord for this wonderful occasion. I tend to gush a bit at you guys every year with how wonderful the region is because of you all, but this year, this year is a special year.
We've made it to *FIVE* ya'll. That is truly an accomplishment. And not to brag, but let me brag on you for just a moment. Caer Sidi is not one of the, it is THE nicest, most welcoming, friendly, wholesome region that I've had the pleasure of being a part of. CS is known by those who know us in NS as an awesomely wholesome and friendly region, full of people who readily accept newcomers.
5 years ago when CS was founded, my personal vision was a little ambiguous. I knew I wanted it to do well, but I really had no idea how well it would do or for how long. Caer Sidi has become more than I ever imagined, and the sheer wonderfulness of this community fills me with awe. I won't lie, it's a little intimidating at times, because we hold a very high standard. But ya'll make it easy. Lynxi and I may have planted the seed for CS way back in the day, but what's truly made it grow and flourish has been the love and attention given to it by it's members.
Our lore is pretty vast, we have a codified set of laws, treaties with other prominent and awesome regions. We're sitting on a pretty good reputation and are almost back at our highest ever nation count. Life is being good to Caer, because you guys are good to Caer. I just can't stress enough how heartwarming it is to have the honour of overseeing such a wonderful community.
Here's to another five years, Caer Sidi. With all my loves,
The Bishop of St. Qillin Officially declares:
A Hot-dog is a sandwich, since it is placed between two enveloping lumps of bread
A burger is a sandwich, ditto
Only Pizza is not a sandwich
Ergo, Pizza > *
And on another note:
Congrats, Caer, on our 5th year anniversary. Many happy returns!
Greetings. I am Grand Imperium of Greater Oulu, a semi-autonomous colony which is partially ruled over by what's left of Finland: The Southern Finnish Republic (yet to be created in NS). Among my other neighboring countries are The Swedish breakaway state of Pello, Peoples communes of Northern Sami Union, Russian Anarchic lands of Murmansk, but most importantly, the MAIN country tied to my gmail account, member of WA and North Pacific, Lapplandish Tradonistria.
Grand Imperium of Greater Oulu and all of these other nations are a creation of my custom universe of countries. I have yet to actually develop a proper history and lore to all of these five states, but at least the main country's borders are all set, now i just have to make the borders of the other countries.
So, thus and all that aside, i have found this region to be most fitting for Grand Imperium of Greater Oulu, based on the description of it. I highly doubt ill be really active here, but when i do happen to find myself chatting with you, i hope we can all get along!
Hello and welcome to CS! We're glad to have you! Feel free to check out our offsite forums at www.caersidi-ns.com, and join our discord at https://discord.gg/caersidi and say hello!
A sandwich is covered everywhere but on the sides. A hotdog is covered just on the bottom AND on the sides.
Idk what it's called in english, but in finnish there's a dish called "nakkipiilo", like a hot dog sausage thats rolled in dough that comes flaky after being in an oven, and it covers the sausage from all slides, it's inside the dough. Would that be considered a sandwich?
It's called here "Moses in the Ark"
hot dog with carrots and potatoes and also, of course, with sauce ╮(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)╭
i have never eaten lasagna in my life i do not live in italy
