Thankyou everyone. It was a long tough process but thanks to your efforts and that of TITO we have our region back. I will assume control of the founder nation to prevent raiders from ever taking our region again. As for the WA delegate I believe we should hold elections and a ballot will be drawn up soon. I will call for nominations and then a vote if necessary. But we will wait for our natives to return home. Long live Australia.

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I was last in the Australia region, many years in fact, but I'm glad to be back. Congratulations on the success of the re-founding of the region. :)

What are the rules regarding endorsements and selecting the WA Delegate for this region?
I think Rankmore wants to hold an election for the position of WA Delegate. At this stage though I think it is okay to endorse anyone. It might be nice to push Rankmore back into the seat to thank him for his hard work though ;)
Yeah King Rankmore said there will be elections once everyone comes back. I don't know what time frame he has in mind though.
I'm not sure either. I've been helping set up a regional forum. Early stages yet.
Our old forum was so unworkable, and I was the last MOD left. All I ask is the new forum be a lot less complicated, and be able to build on it as time and events demand it. One more thing, after all this, let's hope that this founder does not die off as often as Cremorne had. I've personally never been a fan for elections in this game, especially for the position of delegate, a position that the game has different rules for determining who is the delegate than does an election at whatever interval the region's constitution has had in mind. We could create a government, and have elections for various ministers if we like. Personally, I like the volunteer basis in the forums once they are set up. As long as the founder is alive, our forum should be basically only a few sections, Introduction Section, Delegate Business Section, Non-NS Section, NS Section, and Diplomat Section if we decide to go that route. As you can see in the old forum, it had navigation issues. The old forum was at http://s3.zetaboards.com/Australia/index/, and it had too many sections.

Jurgen - the other problem with the old forum is that it is still (and always be) belongs to Cremorne. Even if the old forum were workable, you would have to start a new one anyway so that the new founder could have full control, but also to avoid any malicious intentions from the former founder.
Rankmore - a poll sounds like a good idea. That way there's no ambiguity about our selection process, and we can say the decision was put to the people. ...well, WA members anyway.

We can work out what we want to have elected and stuff on the regional forum. Elections for Delegate are easy enough to have in-game using the poll system.
