According to the newly formed Department for Cracking Down on Cold Confectionaries, or DCDCC, Ice Cream is defined as, "Any sweetened frozen milk product that has a milk to sugar substance ratio greater than or equal to 1:1/4." Regardless, DCDCC agents have been spotted around the country, taking Ice Cream cones from the hands of bawling three year olds and posting Cease and Desist orders on the doors of Ice Cream shops. Breaking News from Neuhamlet
As the result of a unanimous decision within the Plutocratic Council, bidding is no longer the method for determining the plutocratic council. Rather, the 13 best players of the popular game "Amogus" will be declared the new leaders of Neuewland every 4 years, when a new survey takes place. When asked why this has occurred, the Plutocratic Council gave us this statement: "For far too long, Neuewland has been plagued by corruption. The determination of these Amogus players will ensure our government no longer remains sussy, and rather will pave the way for a new Golden Age." It remains to be seen how well this method will work.
Turpir Hoes moves into a new more politically free state of government
Due to a recent change of heart, Stevie Nicks has allowed its citizens more say in government. The normally politically repressed population has voted many corrupt officials out of office, with the support of Stevie Nicks herself. When asked about the recent events the leader replied "Private interests have no place in public affairs."

Restoring the HC5 Minicomputer - GRT techTalk with Elias Kunis
For around 12 months, a team of engineers have been hard at work restoring a HC5 computer at the Museum of Science and Engineering. Earlier this week, techTalk was given an exciting opportunity to visit Mohamed Saeed and his team, and to preview their restoration efforts.
Located in the calm suburban town of Chehroune, about 30 miles from the outskirts of Jabiyah City. Characterised by traditional houses and tight streets, the Museum of Science and Engineering lies in the town centre. Rising above the other buildings across the town, the modernist architecture of the museum - distinguished by a smooth white stone facade - sets the museum out from the rest of the town.
Passing through the cool air-conditioned lobby, we pass through halls and halls of exhibitions of historical computer hardware, and we enter into a work-in-progress exhibition for the HC5 minicomputer. In the dimly lit room, we find a purple-faceted computer rack, next to which a terminal lies dormant. The hum of the minicomputer's hardware buzzes along. Despite the moniker "minicomputer", the HC5 is a quite large machine - consisting of two racks into which a variety of modules for memory, processors, storage, tapes and floppy drives are slotted in.
We take a seat and Mohamed explains "We actually got a call about a year ago from an old warehouse. A manager told us that they had an old HC5 system that had been used by the Bank of Gassasinia up to the mid nineties."
"The HC5 was first put into production around the early 70's. The HC5 was actually a licenced clone of the SSI-11 sixteen-bit microcomputer. Back in the late sixties, Hacohen Microsystems signed a contract which gave it responsibility for building and marketing SSI computers in Thrismari. Between '72 and '94, the HC5 sold 200,000 units, starting at about maybe- $60,000 per model?" He continues.
"What exactly is the importance of the HC5?" I ask.
"Well the importance of the HC5 is that it was one of the first successful lines of computers manufactured in Gassasinia. It really gave us the experience and understanding needed to go on and develop our own systems, with all the upgrades and support that we had to provide for the systems. We had built systems prior of course - like the HC1 and the DCC line. HC5 computers were used across the country and even abroad for a variety of purposes - banking, business, education, medicine - so on."
Nodding along, I ask - "Why don't you give us a demonstration?"
As the terminal screen flickers to life, a low buzz emanates across the room and an amber glow appears on the screen. Mr. Saeed quickly types away at the keyboard, and explains - "We're just loading into the Inox operating system... and then we'll boot into a game..."
After a few minutes of loading, we are in a game of Prisons and Wyverns, a primitive text-based dungeon-crawling game played mostly through text commands.
He lets out a chuckle and explains "As we can see, we don't really have much in the way of complex gameplay or graphics... The MC5 wasn't much of a gaming machine - it was more suited for applications in science and industry. Typically, each HC5 minicomputer would have its' resources split across a dozen or so terminals, which would share the computer's resources."
"Thanks for having us here, Mr. Saeed and showing us this."
"Indeed, thank you Mr. Kunis, it's been a pleasure hosting you."

All quiet in here.
The small, isolationist nation known as Nightthorn has never really bothered with engaging with the international scene beyond measuring its technological advances relative to the rest of the world. Even with the citizens permitted to access the internet, recent international concerns have not bothered the citizens too much. If anything, it's considered hilarious how much people are fighting each other, even over such minor things as just who people want to love. It's been drilled into pretty much every citizen's minds since the beginning of their education that disregarding any citizen's abilities based on what they are (sex, gender, disability, etc.) is not only outrageous, but inefficient for the progress of the nation. Such equality is justified by the last few leaders of Nightthorn, which despite their supreme authority have been somewhat on the liberal side, as a necessity for the small nation to keep up with the world, with any talent squandered solely because of discrimination considered intolerable. Of course, the military is alert, but as it's entirely intended for the defense of the nation, they aren't leaving the borders to attack anyone anytime soon.
Rise of the Dawn of the War of the Planet of the Ants
A strange report has come out of Plagyorasia. It appears in the state's haste to prepare for rising tensions with neighboring nations, the Regency Council has voted unanimously in favor of an order allowing the conscription of... giant killer ants? Bizarre as it may seem, insiders have claimed that the ants have instead used the opportunity to overthrow the government, installing a new "Ant Empire". This rogue state birthed from a rogue state has already declared war on all of it's neighbors, and giant killer ants are organizing into pseudo-military units, particularly near the Shadoveilan border.
So far, at least 20 of those insiders have been killed by the ants, as it seems the new Ant Empire is unwilling to participate in lowly human politics. War, famine, genocide, suffering, and all the sins of the world are below them. Humanity is now the ant in this world; microscopic in it's ignorance, wrapped up in self-destruction and terror, while the evolved, matured, sentient ant population watches them squirm and fight like a human would've to an ant mere weeks prior. There is no hope left for the humans of Plagyorasia, or Vescarium, or whatever it was arbitrated by the once-were masters of Anteria.
It is now the turn of the insect to rise, and usurp mammalian biological supremacy. If there is a God, or Gods, or anything above... they too have fallen to the power of the new lords of this world. Humanity's days are numbered, and the clock is ticking. Long live the Ant Empire.

2. Wars cannot be declared out of the blue; Both nations must agree to it prior to the war being declared, as well as three roleplay post minimum of buildup* by both of the parties involved occurring before the declaration of war (an exception being to if this war was provoked by one of the parties involved; in this case, a war can be declared out of the blue, per the concordat)
3. A war map must be submitted by all nations involved before combat must begin; A war map includes terrain, major cities, roads/highways, and fortifications; this map can be changed during the course of the war, but must be shown to all parties before it is official
4. The strength of all parties involved must be decided on before combat can begin during a conflict
5. Similarly, the outcome of a conflict must be decided beforehand. A hard-set script is not required, but the nations must have an agreement on the ending in order to prevent argument during the war.
6. The usage of Nuclear weapons MUST be approved by the RP Counselors or RP Director, any and all attempts without approval will be declared null and void
7. Countries participating in a conflict should not create a situation that directly affects another non-participant country without that country’s consent (such as roleplaying a refugees stationed on that country’s border, giving that country a de facto ultimatum to either let them in or let them get slaughtered despite not consenting to the said situation).
8. To prevent absurdly unprepared and unrealistic conflict, new coming countries should not start a new war (be it internal/civil or external), or get directly involved in an already existing war, in the span of the first 28 days of their presence in the region, unless explicitly approved by all participants of the war and RP directors.
9. A nation’s government must be determined before any sort of conflict buildup will be recognized by the Directorate and RP Council. This most notably includes a nation’s leader(s), basic political structure, basic government functions, and other such non-negotiable parts of a state.
10. These rules will be enforced by the Directorate at their discretion, and shall have the ability to encourage nations to follow the rules set forth in this document, and possibly force a retconning of the war or other consequence if the parties involved still refuse to abide by these rules
*Buildup is defined as "a roleplay post alluding to a declaration of war"

I will add a link to it in the RP guide shortly. The Directorate of Roleplay is also working on other new stuff and I will make some changes and updates to the current RP guide in some time, so I will keep y'all informed.
On The Run
-"Girls please leave mr. adams alone, he needs to work and you both need to sleep" he told them as they both pulled Mr. Adams's suit from below.
-"Awwww but we're having fun!" said one of the girls as Mr. Adams adjusted his suit "Yeah! He promised us to play hide and seek!" exclaimed the other while pulling on the poor agent's sleeve.
-"Don't worry, it's not a bother for me Mr. Saganaki" Said Adams as he winked at him while taking the girls to the kitchen of the Jet.
-"It's your fault they're so excited, after all, you told them it was just a vacation" said Mrs. Saganaki, who had been silent since the start of the trip.
-"And it's just that, a vacation, but I worry that they run around the plane all the time" Saganaki said with the calmest voice he could put into action.
-"We both know is not just a vacation, and I don't like that you pretend it is all the time Kyoshi" his wife said as she huffed and looked at her phone quickly.
-"Okay, it's also for a business deal with a pharmacy, but can't we also do it a vacation?" Replied Saganaki with a clever lie.
Before his wife could respond with one of her passive aggressive responses again, the accountant, who was sitting on the other side of the jet in the adjacent seat, got up and threw the papers on the ground. Both Saganaki and his wife were shocked and quickly turned to see the sweaty accountant with a panic expression on his face.
-"We are dead! No matter how much I look, I can't find a solution, the 221 script doesn't appear and they have the delta 67 reports! You haven't even told them yet! And what is worse, you don't shut up! I am the only one looking for a solution and you don't shut up!" the accountant yelled furious as another group of agents dragged him into the booth.
Mrs. Saganaki glared at her husband in terror and fury before getting up and slapping him in the face, quickly another agent approached to stop her from continuing slapping Saganaki.
-"A vacation huh? a damn vacation you said Kyoshi!!! When would you tell me! when would you tell your daughters! your own daughters!!!" screamed Mrs. Saganaki crying before also being dragged to the cabin by the agents.
Kyoshi sighed as he watched how his wife was removed from the room, he took a bottle of whiskey from the shelf beside him and poured it into a glass before giving it a drink. He leaned on the table and put his hands to his head, when he was already beginning to sob, the sound of the doors brought him back to his reality. His daughters had returned from the kitchen with Adams between them, they looked scared and teary-eyed.
-"Is everything okay daddy?" Said one of the twins "We hear mom's screams from the kitchen" complete the other.
-"Nothing happened sweeties! Mommy just needed a moment to rest from the tedious flight, thats all" Kyoshi said in a sweet voice as he wiped away his tears.
-"She said we won't go on vacation, is that why she got mad?" asked one of them with a broken voice.
-"How are we not going on vacation? of course we are on a vacation! Come here girls in a moment your mother will come up here again and we don't want to make her wait for dinner, right?" Kyoshi no longer had his voice, it was clear that he was crying.
Both girls looked at each other before running into their father's arms, with one on each side of his head and looking back, Saganaki was able to tell Adams to go prepare his wife and the accountant for the dinner. The twins began to cry in their father's arms.
-"Don't cry, we're almost there! and we can see some beautiful mountains where we go, like the ones in Hayaki, you liked the hills in Hayaki din't you?" Kyoshi whispered into the girls' ears while stroking their heads.
-"We will see another of those water fountains for wishes?" whispered one of them through tears and snot.
-"Of course we'll do! you just have to be a little patient!" Kyoshi replied between new tears that ran all over his face "Of course we'll do"
