Nascar stock car racin

HOOOOLY CRAP that was an unexpected Daytona 500 winner... way to go Trevor Bayne! About as wonderful of an underdog win as the 1963 Daytona 500 victory by Tiny Lund... fitting that they were both driving for the same team (#21 Wood Brothers Ford)

Sorry for being off-topic, but that was absolutely thrilling.

Hahaha. 17% of my population dies from getting lost in the wilderness whereas 43% die from natural causes.

94% of my people die by *Disappearance* 1% dies by *ACTS OF GOD*

My major causes of death aren't anywhere near as interesting. :(

haha 71% die of old age, 12% from Acts of God, 15% get lost in the wilderness, 1% from cats attacks and another 1% from suicide while in police custody.
I have to say that the last two are really f-ed up

Whoa, this new system thing is really cool like seriously! <33

@Verg Racin: No problem! I can see how that can be exciting!

nations in our region should be given an 'Anime Industry' category, aside from, you know, things like Environment, Law & Order, Military, Education...

My economy is 100% Private Sector/100% Industry... I just assume that's anime/manga industry... uh, when my people aren't firing rocket launchers at each other from motorcycles...

100% Industry? WOW that's very unusual... in a good way.

The eternal kawaii

2% of our population die from Sanrio kitten attacks. Who knew they were so dangerous?

It is a little known fact that if you see a Sanrio kitten smile wide enough you can see some mighty sharp teeth.

Any good manga recommendations? I like the slice-of-life type like Yotsuba

Yotsuba would have been my recommendation if you didn't mention it. I don't know if there's anything else like it.

Chi's Sweet Home is adorably cute... unfortunately, Vertical published it and reversed the format for the Western-style left-to-right reading...

...if you can get past that, it's a real treat. ...and if you haven't read Azuma's other masterpiece, Azumanga Daioh, READ IT NOW :P

does it repeat the same content as the anime one?

Well... yeah. The Anime was a fairly faithful adaptation, with only a few sequences and scenes being different or occurring at a different part of the series (and maybe a small handful of scenes being exclusive to either the anime or manga)... still neat to see Azuma's original work, though.

Yandere moe world

I'd recommend Pani Poni Dash.

Was the manga for Pani Poni Dash ever released in America? As far as the anime goes, personally, I could only get through half of it... It now sits in my "to be finished" pile of anime, but I think it'll probably remain there...

Yandere moe world

I think the manga is far better. You can find it on Mangafox scanlated.

Mangafox alot of mangas are not there, due to copyright. I recommend Manga traders instead.

Yandere moe world

well PPD is on there, mostly done, so I don't think it's a problem. If it's on MangaTraders go there

Chibi paradise

I happen to like Chibi Vampire and K-on! :D

Oh yes, Chibi-Vampire is FANTASTIC, but not really "slice of life" :P

I knew it! Godzilla is coming!

Good news! All the anime related companies appear to be safe.
