The National Animal Competition now enters its next stage! You can find the information from part one (receiving entries) here.
A total of 39 nations entered 36 unique animals. Using a random number generator, these 36 animals have been assigned into four groups of nine for the preliminary round. Each group is listed in a randomly assigned order for the poll. Each preliminary round will have a different randomly assigned question/criteria for selecting the best national animal and will last for one day. When your national animal is up for vote, you will receive a telegram and/or forum PM for me notifying you that you are up for vote!
In each round, the top two vote receiving animals will advance to the final round, for a final round of eight animals.
Each day of voting, you are encouraged to campaign for your animal on the Regional Message Board and the 
designated forum thread. Advertisements and campaigning outside of those two places will be subject to charges per The Regional Reserve's advertising rules. Please be mindful of the rules posted in part 1, especially that you may not use puppets to cheat the voting process and you may not harass others to vote for you if they have already voted - if you violate these rules, you will be disqualified and receive no prize money.
Awards and Incentives
If you have entered the competition, you are entitled to a 1000 Taco reward on the forum. If your national animal advances to the final round your reward will increase to 5000 Tacos. The overall runner up will receive 10000 Tacos and the winner will receive 25000 Tacos. The winner will also receive eternal bragging rights. Prizes will be distributed upon the conclusion of the competition! You must be on the forum to receive prize money.
