Does anyone get homesick here, like when one goes on a school trip? If yes, what do you do to...not be homesick?

Okay, that's where our agreements end, commie liberal.

You'll get used to it.

Your nation is quite impressive, considering how new it is. Good civil rights with no political freedom is one of the harder archetypes to play, especially if you have low economic freedom as well. I've been aiming for "Iron Fist Socialists" pretty much the entire time I've been playing NS, and the one time I succeeded, I left the category within a few days.
That being said, if you want any advice concerning how to build towards a certain archetype, I'm probably one of the better people to ask. I regularly make nations for no purpose except to see if the game will let me do something (I once made a communist corporate police state, for example), so I know what should be done in most circumstances and - generally speaking - how to design nations.

Evil Dictators Happyland wrote:Why do TITO members have a higher/unlimited endorsement cap even though being involved in TITO requires putting your WA nation outside XKI?

Quite simply because we are the good guys.

I mean, that's not wrong, but I just don't understand why membership in an organization gives you special privileges in XKI even though being active in that organization requires you to not be in XKI.
Meh, I'll probably never understand why the XKI delegacy works the way it does, and I'm fine with that.

Louisistan wrote:You are also slightly above the endorsement limit we place on members (at least those not part of our regional military). Our regional laws limit the number of endorsements a regular citizen can have to half the number of the Delegate's endorsements. You are currently at 142 to Kuriko's 276. It's not a big deal, but it is a valuable security measure. You may want to ask some people to unendorse you so you stay under the limit. :-)

Oh, I didn't know that, sorry. I'll stop handing out endorsements for a few days, and that should sort it out pretty quickly.

I think it's to do with the way influence and as a result message suppression and banning / ejecting nations from regions work.

Put simply, more endorsements = more influence gain, the more influence you have the less people will have enough influence to kick you out, and apply in reverse when your ejecting people.

Edit -
Also, considering I haven't instated the socialism policy? I'm a little bit proud of this stat.

My best guess is that your government wants to be socialist, it just can't be (probably because of some constitutional principle), so it's getting as close as it can to a socialist state even if it can't actually become one.
...Also, your tax rate is 95.5%, but your government is only 32.2% of GDP. Sounds like tax evasion is a serious problem.

EDIT: Accounting for the fact that state-owned industry should be considered "government" but for some reason it's not, the actual number is around 52.5% (since 32.2%+20.3%=52.5%), but that still leaves about 45% of the tax revenue unaccounted for.

Don't forget to join the event with TRR before the region is passworded!

Taking a page from the lovely event hosted by Dali and Bran at Dali Drag Race, TRR and XKI are joining together to do our own puppet region showdown!

We've created the region The Unicorn The Island and the Wardrobe, and we would like you to join, with a brand new puppet!

Your puppet should have a fantasy name. Something inspired by Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Star Trek, and so forth. Once you've made the puppet, join the region and tell us who you are on the RMB!

"That's nice, but what is the point, Sarah?"

I'm glad you asked! The point is, this will be a competition! Starting on Sept. 13th, there will be a theme. You will be encouraged to change your flag, motto, currency, and so forth to fit the theme of the day into your region. There will also be daily questions on the theme on the RMB that may or may not sway the judges voting!

Voting

  • 1 point for flag change to theme

  • 1 point for motto change to theme

  • 1 point to money change to theme

  • Each judge will award 1-5 points based upon their subjective feels. Then everything gets tallied up

Judges

  1. Kuri

  2. Sarah

  3. Jack

  4. TwoBagger

Judging will be done at 9pm est each night. The next theme will be announced after the judging has been finalized. The first theme will be announced 9am est on Sept 13th.

The region will be open from Sept 6th to Sept 13th 8am. After that, the region will be locked. You MUST create a new puppet for this event!

Eh, not sure how you'd measure tax evasion as an actual definitive factor in this game, but if it counts as part of corruption, I'm probably alright there: nation=kalraydas/detail=trend/censusid=52.
And even then, I sort of handwave it off being an issue due to my nation being incredibly advanced science wise: nation=kalraydas/detail=trend?censusid=70, which in turn I take to mean that as far as domestic goods are considered we're post scarcity if people are making space elevators and orbital doom cannons at 100 science. That in turn means that only 'intellectual' goods (art, code, games, patents etc) are really exploited in the private sector, while necessities are handled both cheaply and with quality by the government (both are possible due to tech). That sort of speech is also why I'm fine with my unemployment levels.
Edit -
Not that there's actually much difference there between us.
