Region: The Free Nations Region

Hello people of the Free Nations Region! May I take your few seconds and ask for help? Because apperantly, I am having hard time finding volunteers for this quick poll.

May I present you a poll about my story? It is very important because, first time I am trying something like this:

Last seconds before closing!

The Director summoned the Defence Minister and the Manguard Headchief to his room five minutes ago. The atmosphere was tense, Nikishai was trying to be modest about his goals and motives, but the Defence Minister and the Manguard Headchief were already aware of what was about to happen. It was no secret that the new Director was shaking up the status quo by opening Vurk to the outside world. It was only a matter of time before someone started something.

Director Strix started the conversation:

-Mrs. Narin and Mr. Taurat; as you know, we will have new weapons from various nations and private companies, we have to be careful who gets what. Meanwhile, I have my own ideas, so I decided to listen to your opinions. I want to hear your opinion first, Mr Taurat, because the military is our main force. Then I want to hear yours, Mrs Narin.

Taurat replied immediately:

-Thank you, Mr Nikishai. First of all, as you said, the VAF should get weapons because it's the main armed force of the Republic, it's legally the most appropriate action you would take. Secondly, I suppose you are questioning some elements in the VAF, which at this point I am well aware of due to signs, as I stated in my last report to you. However, by strengthening the loyal elements of General Anaran, we can slowly pacify the undesirable command structure without losing any strength.

Narin didn't even wait a second:

-I agree with Mr Taurat, the things he has suggested would probably help in the long run. But we need to act immediately, and waiting for the army to clean up its internal mechanics will take precious time. The Manguard is not yet free of similar elements, Mr Nikishai. However, giving power to the Manguard will balance the VAF and Manguard, creating a conflict between two factions that we can exploit in the short term. Also, not all the weapons should go to the Manguard, we need to divert some to Genderme and the police to keep suspicion low to buy time.

Nikishai stood up, as did Taurat and Narin.

-Thank you comrades. I'll let you know my decision as soon as possible. Now you're dismissed.
