Breaking International: Franconians are rather excited in International politics today as President Pellegrini from Sartoria was sworn in. Pellegrini will be the 6th president of our neighboring nation. Congratulations, Mr. President.

Breaking here at home: Power was completely restored on the East grid today. Slow progress is being made to clean up the Billions of Astrons in damage caused by the hurricane. Roads and bridges still need reparations, but road crews are working swiftly to get those done.

Water is receding along the rivers that flooded during Hurricane Barney. Clean up specialists are pumping water out of homes and skyscrapers as quickly as they can.

Some river life is even popping up in some homes, specifically pirhana fish. One home in particular had a school of 50 parhana found in the basement. Animal control took care of it and advises that pirhana fish are carnivorous and to stay away from any infested flood waters.

The tallying from Hurricane Barney is not over yet, some homes are now being treated for mold and mildew. The FE is prone to mold damage due to how much rain usually drops from the sky. So far 7,000 homes have been treated for mold. The Emperial Department of Safety and Well-being is issuing air quality alerts until mold in the area is down to a 2,000 spore count per cubic meter of air. Right now the count reads 3,900. Masks are required in order to be outdoors just for safety. Residents in the area also being asked to get tested for any inhalation of spores and is completely covered by the NHS.
