Region: The Hole To Hide In

The Imperial Ministry of State would confirm that it would be dispatching the Deputy-Minister of State Wolfgang Ribbentrop to The Ansalonian States to conduct a meeting with its leadership there.

RP: Diplomatic Meeting

The Ansalonian government would acknowledge this, and inform them that the Chancellor will be at the meeting to represent Ansalonia.

RP: Upcoming Elections

With elections in both the National Council and for the position of Chancellor coming up, all parties in government would begin launching campaigns to gain more seats in parliament. Meanwhile, members of each party would also initiate campaigns to either retain or gain the Chancellery. One of these candidates would be Karl Schulze, President of Ansalonia and leader of the National People's Party. Utilizing the greatly increased influence he and his party had gained during the past few years, he would initiate a massive campaign to get himself elected, pouring money into advertisement campaigns and holding many rallies and speeches across Ansalonia. His speeches would be applauded by thousands to millions of supporters, further worrying the other factions in government, particularly the Coalition of The Left and the Ansalonian Workers' Front. These two factions, consequentially, seeing Karl Schulze as a major threat to themselves and Ansalonian democracy as a whole, would put forth József Szabó, leader of the CTF, as their candidate for Chancellor. József would be a more moderate candidate, attempting to draw enough support from communists to liberals, and potentially conservatives as well, in an effort to defeat Karl and potentially begin to destroy his movement. Ernst Meyer, the incumbent Chancellor, would also announce his reelection campaign, though he has lost a lot of popularity in recent years, and has also lost many of his supporters to the NPP. The liberals have yet to announce a candidate for the election, and it is expected that the liberal vote will be split amongst the three main candidates, but mostly between József and Ernst.
