RP: Disagreements in the Schismian Empire

Following the deposition of Satyrn III and the delegation of the Kingdom of Sol to Emperor Śeręn IX of the Schismian Empire, debates regarding the eventual fate of the Kingdom have continued to run uncompromised, unabashed, and uncensored on television sets across the community. While the constant drivel of politicians has become background noise for the majority Schismians during work and dinner, for the monks of the Cheiń Temple and Schismian Empire, the administrative tasks of the Kingdom have been distributed among the ranks of the Temple's clergy. Overnight, Acheinceolvist monks have taken charge of overseeing the Kingdom's cities, states, armies, and general citizenry, desperately attempting to translate their moral principles into unbiased lawmaking for good of the Solist public. While the older generations of Monks have been more than willing to participate in maintaining the national stability, the younger, less disciplined generation has held notable judgments against the Empire's continued support of the status quo.

Most notably, a young celebrity monk from Tibidoon, Dóndei Sęrose--famous/infamous for his proposals of expanding the Empire's borders--has formed a faction with several dozen Shangralorian leaders to oppose Emperor Śeręn's decisions. Dónedei, having been charged with overseeing the Kingdom of Sol's northern villages, has reportedly also spent considerable time consolidating the Empire's power in his assigned region; apparently raising taxes and increasing military patrols of the area. While Dónedei himself has claimed he has not changed the focus of the Empire's goals, complaints of disgruntled citizens of the towns surrounding Forty-One did lead to Dónedei's reassignment directly at the behest of Emperor Śeręn IX.

RP: Protests Continue in the Solar Kingdom

While Empire's politicians have attempted to hold the principle of maintaining the status quo in the Kingdom of Sol, the Monk's ideologies and beliefs have undoubtedly made their way into the legislative decisions taken to maintain order in the Kingdom. Following the initial wave of protests to Satyrn's abdication, missionaries from the Empire and Cheiń Temple made their way to Vernacularberg, believing that their teachings could "open the eyes that are closed with hate." While the missionaries reported some success, they were also quickly driven out of the city by a large mob that hurled glass bulbs at them. Some of the city's police officers were also spotted participating in the mob.

Since the incident, numerous protests and near-riots have broken out around the Kingdom, including hunger strikes, street blockading, and in one extreme incident in Swordell, self-immolation. With the protests become increasingly radical and organized, Emperor Śeręn has demanded the National Council take immediate action in giving the Solar Kingdom's citizenry what they want and approve the coronation of Prince Ddę'Weaoleier III. While Emira-Elected Eańei of Siltland reluctantly agreed to support the monarchy, Holy President Eaddól of Blessed and Consul Ejochn of Trans-Schismia continuedly refused. Nevertheless, Eańei's support was critical in breaking the tie, paving the way for Prince Ddę'Weaoleier's coronation at the end of the year.

At the same time as this, Schwypia looks north to the communities in The Atomic Schism. The land is also one veiled in mystery and many rumors exist about the region. Schwypia will send a delegation to the nation and asks to bolster communication between the two states with the prospect of "bringing the Eastern Nations into a closer, friendlier state of affairs."

Emperor Śeręn, the current acting head of the United Community, stated the Schismian Empire would be more than happy to accept the Schwypian delegation, himself expressing great interest in the so-called "Crowned Republic." The Emperor has requested that the delegation meet him at the Royal Homestead on the outskirts of Sanctuary City for tea and coffee, as well as to discuss future political relations.

Community News! Internet Debates on the Rise, Mothers Worried!

The Evven based website, 2tel, having recently launched a discussion board encouraging debates, has seen a wave of Schismians joining the website, the majority of them under the age of 18. The sudden surge in 2tel's popularity in the Atomic Schism has also seen the creation of other discussion forums for online debates. Most notably, a 2tel knock-off website known as "Ddóv'Teoł" has also seen large numbers of underage Schismians joining online chatrooms to voice and discuss their opinions. Evve terre

The rise of these chatrooms and forums has frightened some of the Atomic Schism's older generations, many of whom grew up in a time where the term "I disagree," was seen only used by adults. As a result, mothers across the United Community have formed coalitions on similarly designed online chatrooms and forums to debate the best way to rid the Atomic Schism of the scourge that is the internet. However, these debates have regressed quickly, with coalitions like "Mothers Against 2tel" and "2tel Against Mothers" dissolving thanks to infighting.

In total, debates across the Atomic Schism have risen such a substantial amount, the Schismian Debate Federation has been unable to calculate the percentage of the rise, their computers crashing every time the number was generated.
