Region: The Hole To Hide In

"My name is Astro Koken, ambassador from Windardia. But, you probably already knew that." He looked at the wagon. "Doesn't your country have anything more luxurious to come fetch me. Or is that recent war still taking it's toll?" Astro reached to pet one of the wagon dogs, but pulled his hand away when it began to growl. "I also heard your nation doesn't take to kindly to Nationalists. How do you and your people feel about the recent election results? The Nationalists hold moderate power currently, and that Dreldin Hoffer is going to no doubt be the President of Parliament in a few years. Tell me, before I waste my time, is your country going to be willing to work with mine when that happens?"

"Well Astro, I used to fight for nationalists myself, they made a deal with the Hespanians so I served under Gerardo Rompedor de Sol. Blessed high sovereign Tano had spared me after killing Gerardo, and as his son inherited my servitude. I'll tell you this, I will do my best to restrain his recent hotheaded tendencies. I can make no promises but your people wish to take up the port offer soon anyway no? We must at least cooperate for now. Now, as I said, we must make haste, there Pronto is right now."

Ardoro points over to Pronto, who is carrying a crate with steam coming from it's top and giving of pleasant smells of spices like Cumin, smoked Paprika, chili oil, can sugar, and pepper. He hops into the wagon along with the food bearer, taking care to handle the crate gently as he takes it from Pronto's hands and puts it on a small dining table installed to the wagon in the center. There is plenty of space, but it is still a wagon, and there is a strong scent of lemon and distilled alcohol coming off it, presumably from sanitation. It sports 4 couches on its sides as well as a soldier kitted similarly to the others in the town, and plenty of provisions. The decor is a bit perturbing, despite its bright coloration the exessive use of painted skulls is strikingly morbid. Ardoro begins unpacking Pibil, pickled onions, rice, broth, pickled peppers, pork rinds, roasted peppers, raw cucumber, raddish, and mandarins.

"It's a bit rushed it seems, usually they make better spreads for meals in this region. Should suffice though, Especially since we got plenty of spirits that don't taste like piss for afterward. Always nice when food is lacking. Anywho, If you're looking for luxury there should be a train once we get to the highlands. Probably more your style than this fare."
