The Royal Empire of United Europe-Eurasia (UEE)
The Eurasian Corporal Efficacy Act (§842-9.872) Repealed.

As of January 15, 2051, The Eurasian Federal High Court has made flogging, whipping, and any other form of corporal punishment illegal in all Eurasian jurisdictions indefinitely. This comes just days after a report deemed the practice ineffective and physically damaging to any people receiving corporal punishment. The Eurasian Department of Corrections is said to be congregating in Providence Forge in an attempt to reform criminal laws and their punishments, as corporal punishment has been a legal strategy to punish citizens in the system for decades, reform is necessary and has the support of The Royal Family and The Crown Council.

Prime Minister Melissa Farowhall announced in a statement on Wednesday "I understand why many Eurasian citizens are frustrated with punishments in the Eurasian Legal System.. We would have thought of amending systemic corporal punishment way earlier if we realized how the punishments were being abused, however, this has never been brought up in any cases, congregations, suggestions, or meetings to have it placed on The Crown Council's agenda. During our 51st Congressional Meet, I myself would be happy to bring up the legal punishment system and announce reforms, it's my duty to serve the Eurasian people and I will do just that."
