The Protectorates and annexed territories of Jar Wattinree
Introduction & Purpose
The protectorates and annexed territories of Jar Wattinree came about after the aforementioned nation decided that, in order to grow and become absolutely massive (and an NS-powerhouse), it needed to acquire other nations and take their resources to fuel its ever ambitions plans for empire. Soon, they became so numerous that a new system of classification was needed. Thus came about this unnessessary list.
Structural Hierarchy
Having a proper structure helps nations get due respect for their contributions, and reduces discontent and rivalry among otherwise friendly nations. This is the purpose of having ranks in this new and unnecessary setup.
Ranks :
Cannon fodder
Cannon fodder's sole purpose is to be used in battling the enemies of their overlord. They're expected to die, honorably, but won't be remembered.
Annexed
The rank given to new members. In the words of some famous dude,
having membership in this unnessary setup isn't a privilege, but a right of every nation.
Annexation symbolizes that a nation has committed to improving their parent's state and promoting the eventual annexation of the world. Since this is the Hierarchy's main objective, such a commitment is assumed from all members. Annexations can rank up.
Strip-mine
Effective contributors, who dedicatedly uphold principles of the Hierarchy and set an example for others, are given this rank. Strip-mines have the ability of tithing 100% of their resources to their benevolent overlord. Moreover, complaints lodged by strip-mines are given priority over the annexed, which is mostly ignored. Strip-mines can rank up.
Clown
Clowns have no rank. They're just there, existing for amusement. Same goes for Other, because we've yet to figure out where they go.
Protectorates
Protectorates are not a rank but rather like a permanent post, responsible for laughing at the Hierarchy. They cannot achieve ranks and their contributions are not to be appreciated but expected. Vacation resorts are treated the same as protectorates.
