Kuerhyét:
Hean- - brother, heannu - my/our brother*
Hi- - sister
Herie- - sibling

Kinship terms (as well as body parts) in Kuerhyét can never occur without a possessive suffix, one of these three:
-nu - my/our
-de - your (sg, du or pl),
-ta - his/her/its/their.

Innu:
Hirə - sibling
Hirə he - sister
Hirə ka - brother
