How about a change of topic? What is everyone's favorite Tolkien poem or song? Mine is The Contest of Sauron and Felagund in the Silmarillion. Finrod is such a beautiful but tragic character and although he gets plenty of accolades I think he always gets sold short when people start discussing the greatest elves.
A strong second is The Song of Durin. I stumbled on it as performed by Clamavi De Profundis a year or two ago and loved it. I've been listening to it again and the more I do the more I realize how fantastic it is. If you haven't heard their version, it does a very good job of capturing the majesty and awe of Durin and Khazad Dum.
