Region: The League of Conservative Nations

New Bostonia

Quebecshire votes IN FAVOUR of Terraconserva Council of Nations Resolution 030.

This resolution is common sense. There are a plethora of reasons to support it and it is not some deluded vendetta against the Sequoyan and Malgan states. The Sequoyan state is not the target of many resolutions because of some international conspiracy to undermine, but rather because it continually invests itself in varyingly racist, genocidal, and risk inducing operations and projects.

This resolution, for the time being, is crucial to environmental and labour related security.

While Sequoyah is a pathetically underdeveloped state, there is potential in these regions if they were able to be modernized. I would suggest the TEU, particularly the petroleum involved economies, were to spend the next six months preparing the Sequoyan state for the launch of a proper industry in the coming six months. This would be an ambitious project, but it could benefit both us and the Sequoyans if executed properly, and the sanctions could be rescinded in April, per the resolution clause calling for the re-evaluation.

It is clear the Malgans rushed into this, but if we pass this resolution to prevent their influence from growing, and to prevent the risk of a major environmental and workers related catastrophe, we could perhaps set Sequoyah on the path for more stable development, free of rushed Aurebeshian, or particularly Malgan, meddling. This could be the first step to modernizing Sequoyah, passing this resolution and considering these options for the coming times.
