Corsahn amnestics were actually created by the Medical Division somewhere in 2043, when Corsahnim was still Earthbound. The push for it was actually funded by Father Jackson Corsahnim himself, who knew plenty of people who had the mental scars left by the Orsonian's Siege of Cape Town. When the program was completed, he offered psychiatric programs in Corsahnim (what was called "Netland" at the time) that utilized these newfound drugs and techniques for free for the next 5 years, available to any and all people who wished to receive these treatments. The program, however, was not widely used, as the Netlandic people wished to retain their memories and personality, which they feared they would lose with the amnestics.

Regardless of this oversight by Father Jackson, he thought it best that the drugs and techniques remain in current medical standards, as he understood better than anyone the need to forget traumatic events in dire circumstances.

Hmm. Fascinating. So Father Jackson was a former Orsonian?
