To Comrade Muy Makara, Representative of Foreign Affairs, Greeting.

On behalf of the Government of the United Kingdom of Orange-bourgogne, I would like to thank you for your kind offer to establish between our two nations official relations in the form of a diplomatic mission.

After an internal review by the Department of State for External Affairs, we recommend and appoint as our Minister Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary (with the rank of Ambassador) Captain Liam Burney, who worked in the Department of State for Defence before he was transferred to this Department. We are sure that he will be a fine representative to your nation’s government, and that he will be capable to cope with any and all irregularities should they arise in our relationship.

If you have selected and appointed a representative to and in Orange-bourgogne (or formally, His Majesty’s Principal Court at Saint James’s), we would be honoured to learn whom your choice has fallen upon, so that we can receive him with all the dignity that falls unto him by virtue of his office and person.

[Signed]

On behalf of the Secretary of State:
Sir Richard Wellington MP
Minister of State of Diplomacy

To:
Sir Richard Wellington MP,
Minister of State of Diplomacy,
Department of State for External Affairs.

Thank you for accepting our offer to exchange embassies and subsequently open diplomatic relations. We are always happy to open relations with those in Europe.

We have decided to appoint Toch Visal as our ambassador to your country, and she will depart as soon as permission is granted.

We hope for a long and peaceful relationship between our two nations.

Comradely,
Comrade Muy Makara, Representative for Foreign Relations
