Annual Liberation Day Military Parade

“Seventeen years ago today, the heroic forces of the Creeperian Armed Forces under Chief Field Marshal Augusto Cabañeras Gutiérrez, Chief Admiral José Guerrero López, and Chief General Felipe Cambiero Cavallería deposed the totalitarian Alfonsisto which destroyed Creeperopolis from 1999 to 2003,” stated Emperor Alexander II at the beginning of the military parade at 9:00am SST.

VEPRES 132 Cruzadore II main battle tanks, González-188 Tipo-2004 Dragón rocket artillery pieces, González-66 Tipo-1999 Águila long range howitzers, and VEPRES 2 León half-tracked gun tractors moved past the crowd and military entourage. After the vehicles passed by, 20,000 soldiers from the I Creeperian Army Corps, the most elite army corps, marched by. At 11:30am SST, Emperor Alexander II announced to the spectating crowd that the Creeperian National Intelligence Directorate, the I Creeperian Army Corps’ División Azul, and the Special Security Service of Lyoa conducted a joint operation in the early morning of June 17.

“The DINA, FAC, and SSS boarded helicopters from Nyabari and flew south to Syrina, the capital of the treasonous ‘government-in-exile.’ The special forces snuck into the city, entered the hotel the President, Antonio Gisbert Alcabú, was staying at, and captured and arrested him. The Free Creeperian Army attempted to stop justice from occurring, but the special forces of the DINA and the FAC prevailed and killed 13 traitors to the Empire and 7 additional enemies of our ally, Lyoa. Here we have disgraced former Lieutenant General Antonio Gisbert Alcabú standing before us to be put on trial.”

The soldiers and civilians cheered that the number one enemy of the Empire had been arrested and brought to justice. The Emperor named each of the participants in the operation and awarded every single one a Star of the Imperial Army and the Imperial Order of Valor and Bravery, including the Lyoan SSS operatives who will receive their medals and orders from the Creeperian ambassador to Lyoa.

The crowd and army found Antonio Gisbert Alcabú guilty of all 110 charges, with the most energetic responses being to High Treason, Acts of Terrorism Against Civilians, Murder of Civilians, Homosexuality, Waging War on God, Blasphemy, Waging War on the Empire, and Shoplifting. The Emperor ordered Antonio Gisbert Alcabú to stand in front of a wall on the parade ground to await his execution by a firing squad. The crowd saw the soldiers begin to form the line for the firing squad but they demanded more as the firing squad was not enough. The Emperor ordered ten VEPRES 132 Cruzadore II main battle tanks to form the firing squad line. The crowd cheered and at 12:14pm SST, Antonio Gisbert Alcabú was executed by a firing squad of tanks.
