JUNE 2020 MGA BY-ELECTION
Voting has closed, with 34 valid ballots being cast (2 invalid votes had no confirmation).
The results were as follows:
Kavagrad - 22 (64.7%)
Podria - 7 (20.6%)
Talao - 3 (8.8%)
Seek Other - 2 (5.9%)
As Kavagrad received a majority on the first count, they are duly elected to the General Assembly with no further distribution of votes.
I encourage the GA to now select their Speaker and for the Secretary to introduce their Cabinet and Supreme Court picks.
